We honestly couldn’t recommend HMS Warrior enough as a wedding venue. From the planning beforehand to the day itself, the whole team were fantastic and made everything feel incredibly easy. We met with the team twice in the run-up to our wedding and always felt that everything was completely under control. On the day, I was met by our event coordinator, Laura, along with our photographer, and from that moment I really didn’t have to think about anything. Laura walked my parents and me onto the ship, introduced us to our caterers, took us below deck to meet with the wedding officials and then made sure everything was ready for my entrance. The music was absolutely on point for my entrance, signing the register and our departure into the reception. As we were lucky enough to have a beautiful day, Laura and the team seamlessly coordinated moving everyone from the lower deck to the upper deck so we could enjoy our drinks and nibbles outside. The area was cordoned off exclusively for us, which made it feel incredibly private and special despite being on such an iconic attraction. We had a small wedding of just 25 people and HMS Warrior was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. We hired the ship for a few hours, had our ceremony followed by drinks and nibbles, enjoyed the ship and the views, and then walked into Gunwharf Quays for dinner and a few drinks afterwards. Everything was within walking distance and the whole day flowed perfectly. I’m sure there was far more happening behind the scenes than I ever knew about because, from my perspective, I pretty much rocked up, got married, had a drink and left! And that probably says everything about just how well organised the team were. A huge thank you to Laura and everyone at HMS Warrior for giving us such a special day. We genuinely wouldn’t change a thing. The best day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! The venue was fantastic value for money, with incredibly professional staff and outstanding service from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, and the chef was truly incredible. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted fantastic — we genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. A huge thank you to the whole team for helping make our special day so memorable. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place for their wedding. We arranged our wedding at The Alfriston in just a few months after celebrating our engagement there in November 2025. It felt like the perfect place for a winter wedding weekend. Lots of our guests stayed with us at the hotel and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff at The Alfriston went above and beyond to make our celebration so special. The service, food and drinks were great, the rooms so comfortable and it was great to have the bar area and spa to relax in over the weekend. I am so happy that we chose Brightling park for our wedding reception. We hired the Old Tennis court Lawns and then hired a marquee to host our 100 guests. Gardie and Diana were the perfect hosts and very accommodating and were there to offer help with anything they could. They made preparing for our big day much easier. The grounds themselves were beautiful and the views were picturesque. There were little nooks and crannies that our photographer took us to for our photos that I did't even realise were there. We also stayed at the manor house on our wedding night, which again was perfect. An extremely large bedroom with everything you would need including a large en suite bathroom. I would highly recommend Brightling Park to anyone looking to get married in the East Sussex countryside. You couldn't ask for anywhere better.

We are a US couple with mostly US guests, and it was so special to bring everyone we love together for a weekend in the English countryside. We had around 120 guests for a black-tie wedding, and everyone absolutely fell in love with The Retreat. Our guests are still talking about the setting, the food, the atmosphere and, most of all, how incredibly warm and friendly the entire team were. Nearly every guest commented on how attentive and genuinely lovely the staff were. A huge thank you to our incredible planner, Ella, who was truly one of the most important parts of making our weekend so magical. From the very beginning, she brought our dreams to life and somehow made them even better than we had imagined. She cared about the wedding as though it were her own, and her excitement throughout the weekend made us even more excited! On the day, she was our calm in the middle of everything - from helping clean my dress while we were getting ready to helping my brother with a flashlight so he could read his speech at dinner. She made us feel like guests at our own wedding, knowing everything was completely taken care of. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without her. The whole team went above and beyond. Ed organized a brilliant padel tournament with Pimms to kick off the weekend, and Nick created the most incredible dining experiences throughout. Even after the wedding, Kate went and retrieved our menus from the rubbish when I realized I hadn’t saved any - such a small thing, but it perfectly sums up how thoughtful and caring everyone was. The Retreat was the perfect place for us to get married and spend an entire weekend celebrating with our favorite people. It was elegant, timeless, fun, GORGEOUS and completely magical - everything we could have dreamed of and more. We will be forever grateful to Ella and the entire team for giving us the most incredible wedding weekend. If you are considering The Retreat, we truly cannot recommend it enough! I cannot recommend Fort Nelson enough. We had the most fabulous day with the most amazing memories. The food and staff were incredible. Love, love this place

Amazing and would highly recommend. We booked Old Thorns Dry Hire for our Asian wedding and it was amazing. The day went smoothly but also leading up to the big day it was amazing. Ellena gave 5 star service. Was always on hand to ask any questions we had and was super responsive. A lot of things were including the package such as a honeymoon suite which was fab! Great views and amazing couple pictures out on the golf course. Everything from planning to the big day went well. I would highly highly recommend booking this venue.

From the venue itself (how unique) to the comms staff and the organisation that it takes to create a wedding that flows without a single hitch, PL smashed it out of the park! We dealt with Stephanie throughout the booking process, and Charlotte on the day, and they were absolutely phenomenal. We had 12 guests, including 2 kids and my gran, and they did little things like removed the bone from my grans dinner (chicken) because they thought she would prefer it. They were absolutely amazing and made our wedding for us and our guests something we will never ever forget. If you do look at PL for a wedding; don’t forget to add a safari (and ask for Dom or Will who are both absolutely amazing!) You won’t regret it!!!

My (now) husband and I got married at Solton Manor on 3 October 2026 and we were simply delighted with our decision. We had the venue for two nights and they were nothing but helpful throughout; for example, Emilie (our coordinator) stayed later on Friday so I could rehearse with my wedding band. The staff were great - invisible except when you needed them, when suddenly they were right there, and always helpful and happy to accommodate our vision for our wedding. One thing I really liked is that we didn't feel rushed at any point, which is something I've experienced at other people's weddings. That can be particularly case the morning after your wedding, when you can feel hurried out after checkout and can leave a sour taste after a beautiful day. None of that at Solton. They were great all the way through the process of planning and helped make the day so smooth, and the venue is wonderful - it really just feels like your home for the duration of your stay. We couldn't be happier! One thing I found very attractive about Solton during the planning process was how generous their 'included in the price' list is. It's lots of small things like table card holders, easels and cake stands. It saves you a bit of money, but actually more importantly is it just reduces the number of small moving parts you need to think about the day approaches. Given the number of moving parts you do have to think about, that is a godsend!

We met Julia the owner back in August 2025 and we hoped we could be married in September 2026. The Fitz team were excellent and steered us through the process from start to finish. As we approached the big day communication increased and we were then dealing with Martina who was amazing and made sure the day was as special as it could be. The venue is absolutely stunning and in beautiful surroundings. All my guests were gobsmacked at how beautiful it is. The grounds are kept immaculately and the courtyard and barn where we tied the knot were just so beautiful. We couldn't have wanted for anything more.
