We came to holiday inn to look around, felt listened to so went ahead. Well Sashan was fantastic, support given throughout. Changes made right up to day before by us was no problem. Team were amazing on our day. All went like clockwork which relieved stress. Catering was outstanding, everyone commented on the amazing food. Staff support right up to the end. Would without a doubt recommend venue and super supportive team

There isn't a bad word i can say about this venue or any of the staff at old thorns. nothing was ever too much trouble for them, i kept asking to change things last minute and was met with nothing but helpfulness. all the staff and the wedding team couldn't do enough for us and i would highly recommend this venue

The staff where great. They were in regular contact via email (which was great as we love about 2 hours away), we followed there lead but also made some personal tweaks. The venue was stunning, commented on by many people. We have around 80 for the day so got married in the pergola and had a reception in the orangery. The staff were always around if we needed them, without being overbearing. They helped us make decisions needed e.g. the gardens were wet from rain the night before so we had canapes on the orangery decking. Book the venue for wedding party the night before. We stayed in the manor house, which is beautiful, and made it a nice calm evening then night before as we could set up our venue and all have breakfast, as the bridal team we had a breakfast hamper sent to the room, sit came with some pre picked hot sandwichs, pastries, fresh fruit and bottles squashes. I also got ready in the bridal suite, was lovely and suitable for around 6/7 people to get ready and hang. It is well worth booking the safari, so many guests commented on how much fun and such a different experience it was. Also shared the waiting around between the ceremony and reception. The food was beautiful, was such an easy to book for allergies/preferences but everyone commented on how decent the portion sizes were and how stunning the good tasted. We swapped our evening buffet for a afternoon tea style (something we enjoy doing as a family) and everything was stunning. We even set guests home with leftover sandwiches. The venue ensured there was veggie/vegan and dairy free options of everything. The staff were great and we will definitely be back to visit. Thanks for making our day go so smoothly.

I cannot recommend Fort Nelson enough. We had the most fabulous day with the most amazing memories. The food and staff were incredible. Love, love this place

We were lucky enough to have our Wedding with Minster Mill & The Old Swan. Initially we were looking at the gorgeous events rooms at Minster, but when discussing with Gemma, ultimately went for exclusive use of The Old Swan to match the cosy winter vibe we were after. From our first visit we were set and a huge part of that was down to the incredible team at the venue, in particular Gemma. No question too small, no request too big, Gemma was amazing. The day would not have been what it was without her help. The venue on the day was absolutely stunning, and all the planning was looked at with us in exceptional detail to make sure we were 100% happy - this meant we could actually relax and enjoy everything, leaving everything else to the team who dealt with it seamlessly. We were also able to have welcome drinks the night before and a full breakfast for all of our guests the next day that Gemma coordinated. There were no hidden costs when looking at the venue so we could rest assured we knew what would be paid for and when. We would highly recommend Minster Mill & The Old Swan (The Old Swan in particular!) and cannot thank Gemma and the team enough for the fantastic experience they created for us.

Getting married at Solton Manor was a dream come true. From the first time we spoke to Jackie, we felt truly supported and welcomed! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but being able to book the Manor House to stay with our friends and family on both the nights before and after just made the whole wedding experience so special. We only had a couple of months to plan our wedding, and the whole team was absolutely wonderful, and Emilie who helped us plan all the finer details was incredibly supportive. Everything felt possible, non-fuss and we had the most magical wedding. Getting married just before Christmas also meant that they had put up lots of decorations already, which made it so easy for us to fill in the blanks. Their list of trusted suppliers was a godsend. And the fact that the cottage is dog friendly and our fur baby could be part of the celebrations was just the cherry on top. Thank you Solton Manor!

Rachel was our events manager and we honestly can't speak more highly of her, professional throughout with constant communication and extremely supportive. The venue for us was just perfect, a venue like no other. All the guests was in awe of how beautiful and picturesque it was for our wedding venue.

Thank you to everyone at Elcot Park for making our wedding day so wonderful. From the beautiful setting, to the delicious food and drink, it was everything we had hoped for. In particular, thank you to Ella, who was on hand for the entire planning process and on the day, to ensure everything went to plan. Nothing was too much trouble. Her kindness and professionalism was so appreciated and she was even on hand to calm our nerves right before the ceremony! Everything ran smoothly, and every detail was thought of - meaning that we could completely relax and enjoy the day. We cannot recommend this highly enough as a wedding venue.

We got married on November 8th 2025 at Fitzlaroi barn it was a fantastic day and Martina was always available to answer my questions so be it however. Silly they may of been she reassured me and was always supportive. The day before our wedding we had a run though and she was So patient with me choosing the exactly moment I wanted to arrive at my husband. On the day we had kate as our wedding coordinator she was totally brilliant nothing was a problem and insured than myself and my husband had nothing to do ourselves. She even took charge of the children when getting a bit over excited then shared a dance with us all before going home. Not sure of the males name that replaced her in the evening but he was also brilliant Will highly recommend to everyone. Thank you xx

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than Wotton House. From the very beginning, the wedding team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and supportive. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming at times, but the team made the whole process smooth and stress-free by always being available to answer questions, offer guidance, and accommodate our ideas. On the day itself, the team were truly second to none. Their professionalism, organisation, and attention to detail meant everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. It allowed us to completely relax and enjoy every moment of the day knowing we were in such capable hands. One of the highlights for us was being able to have an Italian-themed menu for our wedding breakfast, which was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and it meant so much to us that the team were so accommodating in helping us create something personal and special. The grounds at Wotton House are simply breathtaking. The gardens and surrounding scenery are stunning and clearly so well cared for. It created the most magical backdrop for our photos and for our guests to enjoy throughout the day. What really stood out to us was how dedicated the entire team were to making our day feel uniquely ours. They catered to every request and need with such care and enthusiasm - no ask ever felt too big or too small. Their commitment to making our day personal and memorable meant the world to us. We are so grateful to everyone at Wotton House for helping create such a perfect wedding day. We will always look back on it with the happiest memories and couldn’t recommend this venue and its incredible team highly enough.
