Facilities and Capacity
Buxted Park Hotel takes the form of a country house, which was first built in 1722 and carefully restored and maintained over the years. As you and your guests arrive on the property, they will be greeted by a sweeping tree-lined drive and grand courtyard fountain before reaching the main house entrance. Inside the Palladian mansion features historic details reminiscent of the Romantic period, from the original fireplaces to the large sash windows and decorative cornice details. Inside features a variety of event rooms, including The Orangery and Ballroom, to host from 40 to 120 guests at a time. If you prefer an outdoor celebration, you will be welcome to place your altar or top table on the manicured lawns. The ornamental ponds, rolling hills, and lush gardens can add a visually rich backdrop to your big day. In addition, you and your guests will have a variety of elegant bedrooms and luxury suites, which you can use for pre-wedding prep or overnight stays. Parking is available onsite, with wheelchair accessibility to help ensure everyone arrives at the venue safely.

Best day of our lives!
The Perfect Venue
The venue is absolutely beautiful - We got married in the Orangery and it was perfect, so light & bright, with space for all of our guests. We used this room for our evening party as well and it was the perfect space to fit evening food, a photo booth, tables, a dance floor & a DJ booth!
The food at Buxted Park is honestly one of the best parts - they were completely flexible with what we wanted, we had 3 different menu choices for starter and main, and everything went perfectly - no issues, and it was all delicious! The trio of desserts was amazing, the canapés were all delicious & Buxted Park held back a platter just for the bride (without me asking) after pictures to ensure I got to try everything!
The getting ready space for both bride & groom are perfect, we loved the atmosphere it created. The Ballroom has recently been done up with new carpet, and WOW what a perfect update - the room looked incredible on the day.
The honeymoon suite was breathtaking, with views across all the grounds, and the venue left us gifts in our room which was such a kind extra!
Mark, our master of ceremonies, was so wonderful all day. He took great care of us making sure we knew exactly what was happening at all times. We felt like he was tapped into the day and that meant he could respond perfectly to everything happening (even pulling out a French flag when we entered the room to Vindaloo - this was during the Euros!) He was also great at making sure every one of our guests never had an empty glass! Honestly the amount of compliments we had on him especially shows what a great asset he is to the venue.
Gemma our wedding planner for Buxted Park was also incredible. Her final planning meeting with us made me feel so much more at ease, and showed the expertise this venue has with weddings, covering every detail. She was happy to accommodate any visit we wanted to make to the venue and managed our vendors as well!
We had the best day ever, and Buxted Park was such a special part of it!

Perfect wedding venue!!
The staff at Buxted are amazing, they go above and beyond and make you feel like the most special people on your wedding day, everything ran so smoothly leaving me and my husband to truly enjoy every bit of the day! Gemma was fantastic the whole way through the planning process, helping with our queries so promptly and ensuring we had the perfect day!
Along with our close family members, we stayed in the suites the whole weekend which made it extra special having such stunning rooms to get ready in!
All the food was also incredible!
Overall, we 100% recommend Buxted Park for your wedding day!

Amazing venue
The most magical wedding venue ever!
Marc as always was the star of the day! His Infectious love for weddings and hosting people was felt by everyone and it was just magical to see him with everyone. Not a single person didn't comment on him.
The day went like an absolute dream, everything was so well organised and everyone knew what was needed before I even asked.
The venue itself is perfect, big chandeliers, fireplaces and yet it feels so warm and friendly as soon as you walk through the door. The food is amazing, on the day and breakfast the morning after.
The suites were just incredible! The exec and double rooms were spacious and clean, exactly what you need from a room and very comfortable.
This venue is literally just perfect and the staff are what makes it so magical.

Final big thanks to all of the team, we would recommend as a wedding venue 100% or as a lovely space to stay away for a night or two. We will certainly be returning and holding on to our precious memories forever.

I'm Becca and I have the pleasure of managing our incredible, award-winning wedding team here at Buxted Park Hotel.
I have worked for over 20 years in weddings, delivering seamless, bespoke and memorable wedding days. My team and I would love to show you around the facilities here and to help bring your dream day to life.
My favourite part of my job is getting to know our couples, it is so important that you have a good rapport with your wedding venue and co-ordinator and we pride ourselves on communication and service delivery from your first contact. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, that's why we are here to help and guide you each step of the way.
