Facilities and Capacity
Buxted Park Hotel takes the form of a country house, which was first built in 1722 and carefully restored and maintained over the years. As you and your guests arrive on the property, they will be greeted by a sweeping tree-lined drive and grand courtyard fountain before reaching the main house entrance. Inside, the Palladian mansion features historic details reminiscent of the Romantic period, from the original fireplaces to the large sash windows and decorative cornice details. Couples wishing to host an indoor occassion have a variety of event rooms to chose from, including The Orangery and Ballroom, to host 40 to 120 guests at a time. If you prefer an outdoor celebration, you will be welcome to place your altar or top table on the manicured lawns. The ornamental ponds, rolling hills, and lush gardens can add a visually rich backdrop to your big day. In addition, you and your guests will have a variety of elegant bedrooms and luxury suites, which you can use for pre-wedding prep or overnight stays. Parking is available onsite, with wheelchair accessibility to help ensure everyone arrives at the venue safely.

On the wedding day itself, Phil and Jamie from the operations team were phenomenal. They managed the logistics perfectly, including making smooth adjustments on the fly to ensure everything worked for my needs as a disabled bride. The level of care from the entire hotel staff throughout our stay was second to none.
Our day wouldn't have been the same without Marc, our Master of Ceremonies. His energy is infectious, and his passion for what he does is evident from the moment you meet him. He kept the day running like clockwork while keeping the atmosphere light and joyful. We chose Buxted Park because of that personal connection, and they delivered beyond our wildest dreams. To any couple looking for a venue that offers grandeur paired with a warm, family feel—this is it.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect.
From the moment we visited we knew it was the place for us; the grounds and hotel are stunning and the team are experts in what they do. Every member of staff we interacted with through the whole process were so incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests have all commented on how wonderful everything was from their perspective too. The food was amazing and plentiful, drinks were flowing and the evening fireworks, oh my goodness - extraordinary.
Special mentions have to go to Gemma who has answered countless emails over the months in the run up with professionalism, care and friendly humour - you are an angel thank you. And also to Marc and Jamie who kept our day running perfectly to time, thank you.
We cannot recommend Buxted Park enough, no notes and no changes. Just wish we could do it all over again.

The reception was magical, the service was exceptional, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. We received so many compliments from our guests. Everyone was buzzing with how perfect everything was.

The venue itself is breathtaking – the views across the landscape are stunning, and the grounds provided the most beautiful backdrop for our special day. Every photo opportunity was picture-perfect, and the natural beauty of the estate made everything feel even more romantic and magical.
The food was outstanding. Our guests raved about every course, and the quality and presentation exceeded all our expectations. The catering team clearly put so much care and attention into every detail.
But what truly made our day unforgettable was the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, and their professionalism and warmth made us feel so relaxed and looked after throughout.

The BEST wedding venue
The planning process was a breeze thanks to Becca’s excellent organisation - we especially enjoyed our tasting evening which was delicious and special.
Our wedding day itself was truly magical - the staff from start to finish could not have been more helpful, friendly and excited for us. Phil was a fantastic MOC and Jamie and team made the day run without a hitch!
Our guests have been raving about the quality of the food, rooms, views - as have we! I wish I could do it again and soak up the magic of Buxted.
The entire package (Browning) was excellent value for money and recommended suppliers are also fantastic.

Dream Wedding Day
Regardless of the weather you are sure to get the most wonderful photographs. There is a lot of space yet the venue flows so guests don't get lost.
We went to almost every wedding showcase in the run up to our wedding and were always welcomed to walk around, build excitement and complete some more planning! The Wedding Breakfast tasting experience was also wonderful, one of the most special meals I've had!
I might be a bit biased but I'm sure this is the best wedding venue locally and I will be visiting again in the future!

The staff were absolutely phenomenal. Warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, they made us and our guests feel so well looked after throughout the entire day. The level of service was nothing short of silver service — every detail was immaculate.
A special thank you to Mark, our master of ceremonies, who was an absolute legend. His professionalism, charisma, and sense of humour won over every single guest — people are still talking about him!
And of course, we have to give a massive shout-out to Gemma, our incredible wedding planner. From the moment we booked, nothing was ever too much trouble. She made the entire planning process completely stress-free, and her calm, organised approach was such a comfort in the lead-up to the big day.
We honestly cannot put into words how amazing the entire team at Buxted Park Hotel were. Thanks to them, our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. We will never forget it!
The BEST day of our lives!
From the moment we visited Buxted Park when choosing our venue, the staff were absolutely incredible and we instantly knew it was the place we wanted to marry! Not only because of the beautiful venue and grounds but also that we were blown away instantly by all of the staffs kind and friendly nature, attention to detail, professionalism and attentiveness.
This carried through to our wedding day where no task was ever too big or too small. Our wedding planner Becca was outstanding for the months leading up to the wedding and made a stressful process, very stress free!
Marc, Jamie, Rob & Duncan were absolutely amazing throughout our wedding day and made everything run perfectly for us.
The venue & grounds were beautiful and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how absolutely stunning it was. Many have since said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been too!

From the very beginning, Becky was an absolute superstar. She made the entire planning process feel effortless—always organized, responsive, and genuinely excited to help us bring our vision to life. No question was too small, and her calm, friendly presence gave us so much peace of mind throughout the lead-up to the big day.
And a special shout-out to Jack, who made our wedding morning so memorable. His energy, warmth, and attention to detail helped set the perfect tone for the day. He made sure everything was in place, kept us smiling, and created such a relaxed, atmosphere.
And we can’t forget Mark—our amazing toastmaster! He was hands-down the best we could have asked for. Professional, charismatic, and on top of every detail, Mark kept the day flowing effortlessly and ensured everything happened right on time, all while keeping spirits high and the atmosphere joyful.
Every member of the team went out of their way to make sure we and our guests were taken care of. It truly felt like we were in the hands of people who cared just as much about our day as we did.

Meet Mark Carter, Head Chef at Buxted Park Hotel.
Chef leads our brigade of award winning chef's who created delicious menus for your enjoyment. Mark has 40 years of experience, an impressive 10 of which have been at Buxted Park Hotel.
Chef's favorite dish for a wedding breakfast is our Roast saddle of lamb, dauphinoise potato, carrot purée, buttered spinach, wild mushroom cream.
"Our menus are extensive but not exhaustive, we are more than happy to build a bespoke menu for you and you will have the opportunity to try them during your menu tasting."
My name is Gemma and I am a Wedding co-ordinator here at Buxted Park. I have been planning weddings and events here for over 10 years and am excited to be planning my own wedding here 2027!
