Tudor Barn Eltham is an idyllic, exclusive-use wedding venue located in Greenwich, England. This South East London hidden gem is nestled on 13 acres of exquisite parkland and overlooks a medieval moat. It provides a serene, scenic, and secluded backdrop for your celebration while remaining conveniently accessible to the amenities and attractions of Central London. Only 20 minutes from the city centre, the barn is one of only a few genuine Tudor Barns still standing today. It is all that is left of the country mansion that William Roper built for Margaret Moore in 1525. Its romantic origin story will serve to highlight your own happily ever after as you dine and dance the night away.
Facilities and Capacity
Weddings at Tudor Barn Eltham are held in the stunning Tudor Gallery, which features original beams and breathtaking stained glass windows. In the warmer summer months, you can also take advantage of several delightful outdoor spaces. These include the Moat Terrace and Tudor Lawn. The venue has a capacity of 180 seated during the day and 200 standing for the evening reception.
Services Offered
When you wed at Tudor Barn Eltham, you will be carrying on the tradition of celebrated nuptials hosted at the venue, including those of Hubert Bland and Edith Nesbit. Just because your wedding carries on this legacy, however, does not mean that it won't be original. The staff knows that your special occasion is one-of-a-kind and will draw upon their wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure a bespoke experience. These professionals provide in-house catering and beverages, an entertainment team for your DJ or live musicians, and seamless service.
We do not allow outside catering.

A Dream Wedding Brought to Life – Thank You!
From the moment we first visited the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding — and it exceeded every expectation we had. The grounds were breathtaking, the atmosphere was magical, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
A massive thank you to the planners and organisers who guided us with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Every detail was handled with precision, and nothing ever felt too much to ask. The entire planning process felt effortless thanks to their incredible coordination and dedication.
We want to give a very special shoutout to the manager on the day of our wedding. Their calm, composed presence kept us both grounded and relaxed during what could have been a stressful time. They were attentive, reassuring, and always one step ahead — we honestly don’t know what we would have done without them.
The service across the board was nothing short of outstanding. Every member of the staff — from the waiting team to the bar staff — was friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our guests were happy and comfortable. So many of our guests commented on how welcoming and helpful everyone was.
And the DJ — what a show! They absolutely nailed the vibe, keeping the dance floor packed all night with the perfect mix of songs. Their energy was infectious and they truly helped create an unforgettable celebration.
We’re still floating on air thinking about how incredible the day was, and so much of that is thanks to the amazing team at the venue. Thank you all for making our dream wedding come true. We are beyond grateful.

Most perfect day!
When we were looking at a venue, we thought we were looking for a small, discreet ceremony. Little did we know we would find it at the Tudor Barn. We attended a wedding fair and it was my ‘husband’ who said it just felt right! The grounds are so beautiful. Even with the rain on the day, it was still magical.
A massive thank you to the planners and organisers. The day ran seamlessly. Every detail was perfect. Our guests could not believe how everything flowed so well, due to the amazing staff. All the staff were calming and kept us on track so. They guided us through each part of the day and evening. They knew what was next and were one step ahead.
Planners, organisers, waiting staff, bar staff……all amazing. Glasses constantly replenished, food delicious. Thank you so much to the chefs! All our guests expressed how amazing the food was and piping hot!
The evening was rounded off with the amazing DJ. We had discussed the type of music we loved, and they achieved the perfect balance. Everyone was up and dancing and saying how much they loved the tunes!
It has only been two weeks since we married here, but I am already looking a vowel renews in the future 😉

Had a lovely October wedding. We booked it quite late in the day. The Tudor Barn was very accommodating. It's a beautiful venue and we had a lovely time.

Gorgeous venue, amazing team!
The venue is stunning, so cozy, pretty and wowed all our guests. The team right from the beginning were incredible, they know exactly what to do and what I loved was how they helped us stick to our small budget and did not try and over sell us anything, no hidden costs.
On the day the team could not have done more to make us feel comfortable and help us get the most out of the day. I honestly have nothing negative to say only positives and am jealous of anyone who is going to get married there as I want to do it all over again!

Fabulous Wedding at Tudor Barn Eltham
We had a an absolutely fabulous day, beautiful local setting that had some sentimental value.
Would have given 5 stars all around, however, the MD who you have your initial wedding planning meetings with can come across a little inflexible and slow to respond at times.
Don't let this put you off though, as we got we wanted and all the staff on the day made up for this - They were a well oiled machine throughout, really impressed and all worked super hard to ensure the day went smoothly. Responded to my requests on the day without question.
Food was amazing and hot which was impressive serving 140 people.
The staff and come and plated each table individually and sat down the plates at the same time, which felt very sophisticated and special.
DJ and Dancefloor were brilliant (although it was my playlist :) ) - I was sceptical about this as we had no choice but to use their DJ and equipment with sound limiters to keep nearby neighbours happy, however, was a fantastic night and the music was plenty loud enough... and I like my music loud!
Would definitely recommend the white LED lit dancefloor, this was an absolute must.
Thankyou so much Tudor Barn team for making our day so memorable, we will cherish those memories forever! x

Most amazing venue
The Tudor Barn was the perfect place to host our wedding. Nice to find a big South London venue, it meant more friends and family could attend then if we looked for something with similar nature but in Kent or elsewhere. They were incredibly professional and responsive and they were very clear about all they had to offer. From inviting us to vendor nights and food tastings to having someone dedicated to answering our questions by email. They had every detail down and had planned for things we had no idea about. Thank you to Suzie and Jade for helping us along the way and being so supportive.
On the day the staff were so attentive and reassuring and kept checking in with us. They made sure we had enough time for private photos and got us to the dinner on time. The food was outstanding and the staff worked so hard to make sure all of our guests were happy and having a good time. Huge thank you to all of the staff you made our day so so special.
We highly recommend Tudor Barn, the grounds are beautiful and the venue is so cosy and well looked after, you will not regret booking your wedding here.

Beautiful Wedding Venue, Amazing Food
We got married at Tudor Barn in August 2025, and it was truly the most magical and unforgettable day of our lives. From the very beginning, Suzie was incredibly supportive - offering guidance, sharing her expertise, and making the whole planning process feel effortless and enjoyable.
On the day itself, Georgia and the team stepped in and were simply amazing. Georgia kept us calm, informed, and made sure everything flowed seamlessly. In the evening, Darren took over and was just as attentive, ensuring everything continued to run smoothly so we could fully relax and enjoy every moment.
The venue and its grounds are absolutely stunning and the venue itself only needs us to add fresh flower table centre pieces to bring it to life.
We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place to say “I do.”

The best day at the Tudor Barn!
We had a great experience with Tudor Barn Eltham. Suzie was clear and professional throughout and guided us through the mammoth task of organising a wedding! The great thing about Tudor Barn is that pretty much everything you need is already there which takes a lot of pressure off making hundreds of tiny decisions about napkin colour/chair backs etc, although if you did want to personalise these things you could. We really valued the clarity of the process in the run up to the day, and the meetings were helpful to direct us in what we needed to do so we didn’t have any last minute panics! We loved the tasting evening - eating in the room we would be having our wedding many months later helped us build the excitement, and the food options were all delicious with good portion sizes. My husband (hooray!) wants me to shout out the mini sausage and mash canapés which we had MANY compliments about on the day and since!
On the day of the wedding, the team (led by Georgia) were amazing - calm and welcoming to us and all of our guests. The day went really smoothly (and way too fast) and the venue was absolutely beautiful and perfect for an stress-free day. Thank you!

If I could give 6 stars, I would!
Tudor Barn was absolutely amazing! I have been organising events my whole life due to the nature of my work, but when it's your money and a special day, one really wants to make it perfect. And the day was PERFECT!
The staff - from beginning to the end - were extremely friendly, flexible, professional and responsive! I am quite picky and have a vision of how things should look and they helped me so much accommodating every aspect of the wedding, giving me advise with food and drinks selection, décor, etc.
On the wedding day we could just relax because we knew (and we really was) in good hands. They made transitions between the ceremony, drink reception, dinner and disco so smooth! They were also working very well with the photographer and videographer.
The venue also has a beautiful garden (2 min walk from the Barn), so it's perfect for the wedding pictures!
Even the drop offs and pick ups were extremely smooth - they packed everything, so nothing was lost in the transition.
For all of you who are getting married in the future - if you are looking for a beautiful, affordable and extremely professional venue with great food and drinks, Tudor Barn is your choice! I couldn't wish for a better venue!

Great experience with Tudor Barn
Suzie and her team at Tudor Barn are great at what they do. They made our day feel magical. Highlights include the food (we had at least a dozen guests comment on how fantastic the food was), the grounds (even with a little rain the gardens were a fantastic backdrop) and how seamlessly the day ran overall. Big thank you to Tudor Barn for a day we'll never forget!
