We recently had our wedding at The Spread Eagle Hotel, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make our day stress-free and truly unforgettable.

Special shoutout to Erica and Andrew who was incredibly professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the planning process. They made sure every detail was taken care of and helped everything run smoothly on the day.
The food and drinks were excellent, and the on-site accommodations made things super convenient for us and our guests. It was such a relief knowing everyone could relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about transportation.

The Spread Eagle hotel was a wonderful venue. Erica, Andrew, Richard and the team were attentive and ensured our day was memorable. The Oxfordshire registrars were supportive and Jane the harpest made our day magical. The food and hospitality was excellent and ensured everyone had a great time they catered for allergies and preferences. Erica was amazing with last minute changes and communication. They let us set up the evening before and our bridal suite was beautiful. The Spread Eagle hotel felt like our own venue and was intimate compared to a huge hotel. We highly recommend attending the wedding fair we hired Jane the harpest and DJ Dave Cato who made our wedding special. We loved every moment and we would like to say a huge thank you to an amazing team.

We had a very small wedding at the Spread Eagle and Erica made sure we were taken care of the whole way through. She is very knowledgeable about all the small details some brides forget about. She had great communication throughout the planning process. On the day the whole team at the Spread Eagle was great! Everything went very smoothly and we had a great day!
There are lots of beautiful places to take photos on the property and the food was great.
Excellent prices as well!

The staff were great, Erica was always quick to respond to any queries, offer good advice and helped make our special day extra special. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and warm. The venue was beautiful and the food was excellent.

Myself and now husband were looking for a chilled out but beautiful evening and spread eagle went above and beyond. We had the evening we wanted. Spread eagle were very accommodating to what we wanted and had the space to do this. The food was excellent - loads of compliments from our friends and family. We also were surprised with the garden room suite which finished off our wedding day perfectly. Thank you so much... Definitely recommend.

Our wedding was everything we could have wished for and so much more. That's all thanks to the spread eagle hotel.
Erica was amazing, friendly, helpful and always got back to us really quickly when we emailed. She also gave us list of suppliers that are local and are used which was very helpful.
The hotel is beautiful and the bridal suite was beautiful and stylish. So many of our guests that stayed were so impressed and loved their rooms as no room was the same. We can't thank Erica enough.
On the Wedding day, Richard was great the whole day ran so smoothly and everything was how we imagined. The room was set up beautifully. They were very accommodating with allowing to set up some yhings the night before. The food was also amazing, we did have some fussy eaters and they even said how great the food was. We were lucky to be able to take photos outside as the rain decided to stop. They have some really beautiful areas for photos.
We had use of the restaurant for breakfast, which the food was lovely and there was a range of food to pick from. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly.
We and all our family and friends had the best day.

We held our wedding at The Spread Eagle Hotel and chose to have the 'big one' package. This meant that practically everything was taken care of for the wedding celebrations. The venue provided chair covers, table linens, canapes, drinks, the wedding breakfast, evening buffet and dj. This means, as the bride, I had an easy life organising the finishing touches.

Erica, the Wedding and events Co-ordinator, made sure everything ran smoothly and was very patient with a slightly disorganised bride!!

The venue was beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. The food was delicious (especially the sticky toffee pudding) and there was plenty of it. We supplied a cheese and pork pie stack and the venue happily accommodated this. It was lovely to be able to tailor a package to our wants, needs and budget.

The bar staff were lovely and absolutely fantastic with the children as well!!

What an amazing experience from start to end. Erica was amazing and helped us to be organised, answered any/ all questions, queries and changes during the build up. Erica was on hand at all times. I never felt like I was being a pain to Erica although worrying myself that my questions were constant! Lol. The wedding day was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue & people to make this perfect for us! Food, venue, staff and facilities were amazing! People commented how lovely it was. Looking back there is nothing Tom and myself would have changed. This tells you how perfect it was!!! Totally recommend! Actually want to do it all again!!!!! Thank you Erica and Richard. You made my dreams come true!!!!

Me and my partner had our wedding ceremony at the Spread Eagle Hotel, the staff were fantastic and the room looked amazing, everything ran very smoothly. We also stayed in a suite the night before and night of the wedding, the room was lovely and included a delicious breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend their services.

We had the most amazing, special day we could have ever dreamed of! Everything was perfect! Me and my daughter stayed at the hotel the night before which was lovely to wake up and have the bridal team, make up and hair to arrive and me not to have to rush! Breakfast was delivered to the room and Erica, our events organiser couldn’t do enough for us on the morning of the wedding and infact throughout the whole time leading up to our day. Erica helped us with the planning, made us feel at ease the whole time and we knew we were in good hands with her. We kept in regular contact and had to make many changes along the way which the hotel continuously catered to.
We got married at the hotel and Erica helped with the bridal team getting down the aisle and Richard was in charge of the music. The moment we were married we were treated like royalty. The wedding breakfast was just amazing! Everyone absolutely loved the food and due to my husband being muslim and us having a number of muslim guests, the kitchen even provided halal meals for everyone which we were so grateful for and meant everyone could enjoy their food and we could all eat the same menu.
The evening guests arrived just in time for the disco and the evening food provided, yet again the hotel changed the menu to offer us an halal option, which was delicious and enjoyed by all.
The whole day from start to finish was just magical. It was a wedding of our dreams and the venue was just absolutely perfect and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. I would recommend The Spread Eagle to any couples planning a wedding. Not only is the venue perfect and just so beautiful, the staff are just truly amazing and their expertise and love for their job just makes the whole wedding experience the most memorable, special and unique encounter. We are honoured to have found this venue for our wedding.

We had our wedding reception at the Spread Eagle hotel on the 26th August 23 and we were absolutely delighted with it.
Erica was so helpful and accommodating from the start and created a bespoke package for us and our guests.
The food was wonderful and the service also.
Everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Myself and two bridesmaids stayed in the suite the night before the wedding and had a lovely breakfast in the room before getting ready. Lots of family members stayed also and had nothing but good things to say.

We got married on 10/09/22 and it was such a lovely day! Me and Corey couldn't have asked for a better day. Everything we wanted and more.
Gemma was very supportive, knowledgeable and accommodating with the planning of our wedding day. She was always available by email/ phone and helped with any questions we had.
Richard was so attentive and helpful on the day and made everything go smoothly!

We had our wedding at the spread eagle. We had a wonderful day, the staff we so helpful and kind, they went above and beyond to make it a smooth stress free day for us. They day went without a hitch , the food was wonderful and the rooms were large, the beds comfy. Erica was wonderfully helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My grandparent came a day early to stay as the wedding was early, check in was 3pm. When they arrived at 11 they spoke to a lovely receptionist, I don't know her name (she had black and red hair) who got the room made ready earlier as my grandma was clearly exhausted. I appreciated it and I cant recommend them enough. Me and My husband had a wonderful day. There is lots of lovely shops in the high street, its lovely and picturesque, there is a lovely garden to sit and have drinks from the hotel bar and loads of pubs and little shops.
