My husband and I had our wedding at the bottle and glass at the end of May. It was the most perfect and special day. The whole process from enquiring, to meeting with Lauren, to the communication in between, to the wedding day was seamless. Lauren was accommodating and helpful, and was able to help us make such a truly special day. Communication in the build up couldn’t be faulted. We had our wedding before the venue gained its license for official wedding ceremonies, but we had a family friend officiate an informal ceremony. We had the fields in the background and it was so beautiful. The day ran incredibly smoothly with attentive staff and high quality food. All guests have said how they thought the venue was beautiful, how delicious the food was, and how seamless the service was. It really was such the best day, so beautiful and so happy. The only fault in the day is that it’s over and it went too quickly!

We had the most perfect wedding day and knew the second we toured it that this would be the venue for us. We only toured one other venue after clock barn and it didn't come close. Everything, from the immaculate grounds to the friendly staff ,was brilliant. Norleen was our event manager but every single member of staff we spoke to was so professional and helped make our day so special. The chefs were so accommodating for dietary requirements, and when we wanted to pick something not on the menu they couldn't have been more obliging. The food was truly phenomenal. I think it's a true testament to the quality of service at clock barn that every person we spoke to regarding our wedding plans (potential vendors, guests from previous weddings) had nothing but positive things to say about it. It really was the most perfect day and i'm gutted that it's over! It is worth every penny and I can't recommend it enough.

We had our wedding reception at Kimbridge on Friday and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is utterly beautiful and the staff made sure it ran perfectly on the day. Food was amazing too. I highly recommend!

Having photographed weddings at Oaks Farm twice before, I already knew it was a beautiful venue — but experiencing it as the bride/groom was something truly special. We booked in March ’25 for our August ’26 wedding, originally hoping for an outdoor ceremony by the pond. From the moment we secured our date, Katie and John were fantastic. They kept us updated throughout the planning process, guided us through everything we needed to prepare, and were always quick to help with any questions. On the day, Katie was incredible. She made sure everything ran smoothly, guests were where they needed to be, and we felt completely supported. When the weather turned and the rain arrived, our ceremony was moved to the stables — and thanks to our florist’s beautiful decorations, it felt just as magical as our original outdoor plan. We had a string quartet playing throughout the day, and Katie coordinated their setup and transitions perfectly: from the stables, to the orangery for the drinks reception, and finally into the barn for the wedding breakfast. Every detail was seamless. After the main group photos were taken, we held a tea ceremony with my parents, aunt and uncle, and my great aunt in the cottage. It was the perfect location — intimate, calm, and beautifully suited for such a meaningful moment. For catering, we chose 10 Flavours — a decision we’d made even before the tasting session. The canapés, wedding breakfast, and evening hot buffet were exceptional. The service staff were quick, polite, and incredibly efficient; food was served promptly without ever feeling rushed. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. Jody even made sure we got canapés during our photo session, which was such a thoughtful touch. Every supplier involved was organised, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Despite our early worries about the weather, Katie kept us calm and reassured from start to finish. At the end of the evening, once our guests had left, we stayed in the cottage — and it was the perfect way to end the day. We had the best night’s sleep, and waking up to the sun rising outside with a continental breakfast waiting for us just completed an already incredible experience. It truly was the best day of our lives — magical in every way. Oaks Farm gave us a wedding day we’ll treasure forever.

As soon as we saw this venue we knew it was the one and to hear it was in budget was just the icing on the cake! Mark, Russell & the team were absolutely accommodating and extremely helpful. They made our day just perfect and I'd recommend to anyone looking for the rustic barn feel wedding. Can't thank them enough.

It has been just over 2 weeks since our special day and we are still in awe. We fell in love with Burley since the first time we visited for a walk around and we honestly could have not picked a better place. The manor and the barn are magical and the whole events team made our day an absolute dream. Everything from the planning process to helpful advice, to helping the day itself run smoothly - the whole were perfect. Myself and my now husband felt so completely at ease during the day and the team took amazing care of us. We could not recommend this venue and the team enough! I just got married at Bury Court Barn and honestly couldn’t recommend them more. Firstly, the venue is literally one of the most beautiful places I have been! You really do need to go and see it for yourself. The gardens are absolutely incredible, the pink truck outside to get drinks from, the chandeliers in the barn, the dance floor is the perfect size so not too big or small, the bedrooms, the surrounding countryside, just everything is perfect. It’s the most romantic setting for a wedding, you literally can’t beat it. We had 106 guests and it was perfect (a smaller wedding would also work really well due to the flexibility with table layouts). Secondly the team - Sarah, Vicky and the rest of the team were absolutely amazing. Sarah was our point of contact in the build up and you don’t realise until going through it how vital it is to have someone who responds quickly and is super organised. She made everything so smooth, and what we also really loved was their flexibility to make it our day - like serving espresso martinis to the guests after food, allowing us to setup the day before, completely tailoring our menu, moving the wine to the bar to enjoy for rest of evening, choosing our own cocktails etc (where a lot of venues are quite restrictive!). It made our wedding feel completely personalised which was so important. Also, Vicky on the day was a literal ray of sunshine and so many guests came up to me saying that - you don’t realise until you get someone really good at a venue how this adds to the day! She was also making sure I was eating and drinking during the day, and just being so supportive. Thank you so much to everyone at Bury Court. The food honestly was incredible - one of the best meals I have had (seriously!), and as mentioned we really tailored it and chose foods not even on their list and they made it happen. This was so fun as we went for bbq sharing platters and it was delicious - also there was loads of it. They also left our presents and some wedding cake in our bedroom to enjoy after the wedding and the little touches like this made such a difference. Thank you for giving us the best day of our lives!

The moment we arrived at Upwaltham barns for our first viewing, we knew this was the venue for us. You immediately felt like you were part of the family, and all the staff genuinely cared about your wedding experience. From the wine tasting session with Steve, to the experience evening with other couples sampling the venue all dressed, with a full meal and canapés to the day itself, we felt cared for and made to feel extremely special. All of ours guest commented about how smooth the day was along with implacable service and how it was ‘the best food they’d ever had at a wedding’. We can’t thank the Nicola, Kate, Ann and the team enough. We certainly will never forget our wedding at Upwaltham barns!

I would highly recommend Lains Barn! It's affordable, beautiful, and the service from caterers to the wedding planner was very professional and friendly. My husband and I received numerous compliments on the venue from friends.
