We got married at Ruffynes Barn, and I can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more. The barn itself is absolutely stunning – full of character, charm, and a sense of rustic elegance that creates the perfect atmosphere for a truly magical day. What made our experience even more special was Suze, the owner. She was nothing short of incredible – warm, attentive, and so genuinely invested in making sure our day went smoothly. From the moment we first viewed the venue to the day of the wedding, she was always there to offer support, answer questions, and help bring our vision to life. Every detail of the barn is thoughtfully designed, and it offered the ideal backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the setting was – it felt intimate, relaxed, and truly special.

Hi village hotel Maidstone amazing .really listened to what we wanted .so we have big family’s and we did register on the 2 Nd in Maidstone with just our mums then stayed at the village hotel and on the 3 rd had our wedding day full works out way . We had Robin our Celebrant Who conducted our service and he liased with the hotel we did tiring the knot with ribbons and blended the sands all personal to us as a family . The room was perfectly set out by hotel and put our handmaid decor on tables . So stress free . The day / evening was perfect and all guests enjoyed it food amazing hot went on table no complaints at all .

We had an amazing wedding at Bilsington Priory and couldn't recommend the venue enough!! It is such a beautiful venue with so much character. With just three months to organize our wedding the team helped guide us through the process, make suggestions and on the day everything ran so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about any of the logistics and knew everything was in safe hands. The food that we chose was delicious for both the wedding breakfast and evening and there were great options to choose from. Thank you so much for giving us such a magical day to remember!!!!

Had a fantastic wedding at the tickled trout, Food was amazing and good portion size. Staff were friendly and accommodating, they made my wedding breakfast look amazing and set it out as I wanted. Charlie is great and was always helpful with needs and replies quickly to any quires and emails. Nothing was too much trouble. Venue it self is perfect and we hired whole pub out which was great such a pretty venue inside and out.

When our search for a wedding venue began we had looked at a few venues prior to going to the Moat, as soon as we attended our consultation appointment we both fell in love with the room and how warm and cozy it felt. The booking process from start to finish was straightforward and communication was good and we felt confident that any questions we asked were always addressed. Down to the big day, our wedding planner was Aimie, and wow what can we say, she was simply AMAZING. The organisation was just incredible, she was there every step of the way, even helping to tie up bows and flower corsages. She did not stop from first thing on the morning until late at night, even our guests commented how good she was, she is a true credit to your team. We visit the Moat often for lunch or dinner so we knew the food would be good, what we hadn’t expected was how fantastic the service would be with silver glove service. Months later our guests are still praising it all. If only we could do it all again, well done Team Moat Love Alison & Martin

We've just had our wedding at Bexley Holiday Inn and we cannot fault our experience. Our initial tour gave us transparent options/pricing and every member of staff we met made our questions, thoughts and ideas a breeze. I also really appreciate getting replies to emails quickly as this is rare nowadays! We didn’t need too much time to decide to book our wedding with the Holiday Inn as we picked a package which was well within our budget- even for a Saturday. Having now had our day, it was worth every penny; I feel like we managed to achieve our ‘budget’ wedding without it ever once feeling like we were lacking in anything. The venue itself was perfect. We had so much space for the ceremony, meal, outdoor photos and even rooms to store our things in before, during and after the big day. The room we had to get ready in the night/morning before was absolutely perfect for me, two photographers, make up and 4 friends. We had seen the venue dressed for conferences and seen photos of other weddings but on the day, it absolutely felt like it was special to us. We loved the outside space for photos and for our guests to sit outside on the benches and the kids to play on the grass but throughout the day, there was so much space for what people needed. My elderly grandparents had a quieter zone to chat away from the loud disco or those making using of our private bar! I lost count of how many members of staff were on hand to help set up and run the day and every single one played a key part in the fun we had that day. The food was great and all of the little add ons were never pushed upon us; and we were given alternatives with suppliers or our own choices if we wanted too. We decided to DIY a lot of the decor/speakers and we had plenty of time to set this up before the wedding. The day after, everything was already tidied into one room for us by 8am so loading the car took us a lot less time (and stress!) than we expected. Above everything, our wedding co-ordinator Lauren deserves the most amount of praise. Our frequent meetings and emails always made us feel like we were totally in charge of how we wanted our wedding to go- she was like a genie granting all of our wishes! And the day before/on the day, she clearly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and every time we said ‘do we have…’ she’d already have it sorted on her clipboard! It was as if she’d done 1000 weddings before but had the enthusiasm and excitement for our day as if it were her own. I honestly can't think of anything we'd want to have changed on our day. If you’re considering this venue, I really do recommend a tour, chat and to see how people have transformed the rooms as we honestly had the best day and think it was such good value for a venue that was the most competitively priced we’d seen. Sad it’s all over but looking forward to the photos to relive the day!

We had our wedding here and it was amazing we got married 21st of August 2025. We had our ceremony outside and it was beautifully decorated, and enough space for the children to run around. Our meal was in the marquee and it also was decorated beautifully exactly as we had imagined. Our wedding coordinator Karen was amazing and helped everything run smoothly. The in house dj was awesome, I had a playlist already made and he made sure we all had such a good evening into the night.

Hall Place has special place in our hearts as it is local, but this is much more than just a wedding venue as it’s a historical house with beautifully maintained gardens, fantastic staff and just incredible backdrops. The hole day for a February wedding went perfectly and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. There are also a lot of hotels nearby for your guests - highly recommend! The price I put down is inclusive of all food and venue hire

We had our wedding party at the Mercure and the package included everything that we needed. The outdoor area was great to have on a hot summers day. Good food and the DJ they provided was great. Would definitely use the Mercure Tunbridge Wells for another event!
