We got married at Ruffynes Barn, and I can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more. The barn itself is absolutely stunning – full of character, charm, and a sense of rustic elegance that creates the perfect atmosphere for a truly magical day. What made our experience even more special was Suze, the owner. She was nothing short of incredible – warm, attentive, and so genuinely invested in making sure our day went smoothly. From the moment we first viewed the venue to the day of the wedding, she was always there to offer support, answer questions, and help bring our vision to life. Every detail of the barn is thoughtfully designed, and it offered the ideal backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the setting was – it felt intimate, relaxed, and truly special.

To get married at Great Ote Hall is something is very special and unique, and I could not recommend it highly enough. From the moment we decided on the venue, everything was seamless from there on, and the day turned out to be even more beautiful than we expected. Our guests were blown away by the venue and our photo’s turned out perfectly.

Just to say we cannot thank Sam and Kathryn enough for their excellent service and making our Wedding Day special. Sam was helpful and friendly.Suggesting.which room to use, sending choices of menus, giving us time to get our numbers together and offering great advice. .Kathryn was involved with setting up the room, tables and settings , well ready for our finishing touches .The room looked beautiful. The promise of good food and service was exactly what we got.Delicious and plentiful. Much praise to the Chef and Staff.Nothing too much trouble .Plenty room for 80 guests. Dance floor good size and plenty of room for the Disco and Karaoke..Atmosphere amazing . There are beautiful grounds around the Golf club ideal for photographs. Also a little bridge over a small pond. Fortunately the weather was so good that the guests could mill around outside.. Staff helped us to clear away our things . Professional to the end . From the moment we drove into the grounds and met Jo, we knew this venue was was where we were going to get married. From the initial meeting through to the day and after, Jo and the Leonardslee team helped us feel at ease, answered any questions (no matter how silly) we had and supported us throughout the whole journey. Our wedding day was easily the best day of our lives and choosing Leonardslee Wine Estate was a huge part of that.

Wow our Wedding was 2 days ago and it was truly the most magical day of our lives. The views and setting at Swarling were simply beautiful and the weather delivered with blue skies and sunshine. Our guests haven’t stopped telling us how amazing our Wedding and venue was - so much space to roam and the whole place created such a lovely relaxed vibe. The food was delicious, canapés outstanding and drinks a plenty. Jess our coordinator was simply amazing on the day and the whole lead up, she is so professional and knows the wedding business inside out. We are writing this 1 week after the best day of our lives!! Nettlestead Place was the first and only venue we visited, and we knew straight away that this was the place we would get married. From Sharon’s excellent communication throughout the whole planning period, and her warm and friendly approach, to stunning gardens, the beautiful undercroft and Lewis and his team of bar staff, we knew we were going to be in good hands. We sent so many emails with various queries ahead of the wedding, and Sharon was always very prompt and helpful in her replies and was very patient and flexible. It is also worth noting that we had a guest with significant mobility issues, but this was not an issue and her needs were met. So many people have said what an excellent place to have a wedding, it really did have everything! We are so grateful for the wonderful team for helping us organise the wedding of our dreams!! Karen and her team at The London Golf Club are simply the best. From the initial visit to the venue to the day itself, everything was extremely professional but also very personal. Karen helped and guided us throughout, with a kind and attentive approach, she helped with recommendations for suppliers and provided us with a huge amount of support and undertook very detailed planning. The venue itself is beautiful and really lends itself well to weddings. The rooms flow well, with plenty of space and guests certainly know that they are at a luxury venue. The day itself was seamless, and all the behind the scenes work happened without the guests even noticing. Nick, the Toastmaster was a absolute legend. He talked the wedding party through each part of the day, making sure everyone knew what to do and when, but was accommodating and considerate throughout - a real gentleman. He never got phased and made us feel all extremely confident that everything would go to plan. The catering was great, and the wine choices complemented the food well. Many of the guests said that it was the best wedding that they had every been too - high praise indeed! I would highly recommend London Golf Club, Karen and her team if you are considering a wedding in Kent - it will be a truly magical experience!
