The crew here are absolutely incredible. The service provided is 10/10 from start to finish. Nothing was too much hassle and they were working until early hours of the morning to dress the marquee to our taste. Their dedication and love for their work shows and creates such a beautiful dynamic during what feels like the most stressful time of your life! A massive shout out to Jade and Lizzie for their positive input to our big day. They are a credit to the Greene king company and their wonderful lodge. It was such a pleasure to work alongside them and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Very professional, helpful and friendly service before, during and after the event. We got so many compliments from guests on the choice of venue, the food, the staff. Our day went perfectly thanks to great planning beforehand and management on the day. A wonderful setting for our special day that we would highly recommend, especially as we love the river.

We just wanted to share how fantastic Lains Barn have been through the early stages of planning our wedding, the day itself and even after the wedding. When we first looked round the barn, Martin (the owner) was very keen to show us around himself and explain exactly how the day would look as well as reassuring us that our wedding would be in safe hands. We were given a very reasonable price and then Rachel took over, who answered all of our questions day or night, no matter how small! We were able to visit the barn on several occasions and arrange our stuff there the day before. On the day itself, Katy and the team were absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond with our decor, and we felt very confident everything was in safe and professional hands. The food was delicious (we recommend the tiramisu!), and no faults on service. It rained all day but that was not a problem, this venue has the flexibility for an indoor reception, and it meant that the barn was all the more warm and inviting (perfect for a ceilidh). We cannot fault Lains Barn at all and we are genuinely thrilled that we chose to celebrate our wedding here.

We had our wedding here in September 2022 and it is a beautiful venue to get married at. The views from the hotel looking out onto the river make a picturesque setting especially if you have picture taken on the bridge. The staff are superb and go out of their way to make sure that runs smoothly and cannot be faulted.

The team at Holt Hotel is truly wonderful. We hosted a wedding here, and the team was nothing but excellent. We felt like VIPs all throughout. The food during our event was delectable and the wines were lush! Special mention to Mon who went above and beyond to help us make our event happen with such short notice. The rooms are excellent - we can't fault them. The breakfast was delicious, decor was stylish and the location is perfect. Thanks so much to the whole team!

We recently got married at The Weston Manor Hotel and from the very first visit and throughout the whole journey, we had the best experience. The whole team were great but Emma, the events manager, was an absolute star! Emma ensured that everything ran smoothly and was a lovely sounding board for a slightly stressed bride who didn't know where to start or what to do next. We really couldn't have done it with out her. The venue itself is stunning and quirky, and nothing was too much to ask. The food was an absolute highlight and the portions were great too. We had the most amazing day and are so incredibly grateful and thankful for the teams help and hard work. If you're looking for a place to host your wedding, we would highly recommend Weston Manor (and Emma in particular).

We had the most perfect wedding day at the Bay Tree Hotel in August 2025! There were a few reasons for our decision to book it as our venue, firstly was our wish for our guests to be able to stay and feel as though they could relax. We were also keen to have the flexibility of an indoor/outdoor venue (luckily the weather was kind to us, but you can never trust the British summer)! And it is clear to see what a stunning venue the Bay Tree is, with numerous options for your wedding! In the months planning our day, the team were incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any queries we had. Our meetings with Laura were enjoyable and productive, as was our menu tasting! Unfortunately, Laura was away on our wedding day, so Becky sat in on our final meeting and oversaw the day itself. We were blown away on the day as to how professional and accommodating the team were! The day ran so smoothly and felt incredibly relaxed for us and our guests! They made sure rooms were ready for guests to check in as early as possible and used great initiative when setting up, adding little details to make the venue look even more stunning! So many of our guests have said to us how impressed they were with the venue, from how nice their rooms were to the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the team! Thank you again to Laura, Becky and the whole team!

We recently had our wedding at The Spread Eagle Hotel, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make our day stress-free and truly unforgettable. Special shoutout to Erica and Andrew who was incredibly professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the planning process. They made sure every detail was taken care of and helped everything run smoothly on the day. The food and drinks were excellent, and the on-site accommodations made things super convenient for us and our guests. It was such a relief knowing everyone could relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about transportation. Thank you for helping make our special day absolutely perfect!

If you are thinking of choosing this venue you won’t regret it. We had our wedding here 3 weeks ago and it was perfect! We had a lovely meal in front of the fireplace the evening before with guests who stayed the night before. We were able to set up some of our own wedding DIY that night, with a lockable room to keep all of the boxes ready to take back after the wedding. The staff were really helpful in the set up and organising where everything could go. We booked a family room where we could get ready next door to each other with an adjoining door, which was brilliant for hair and makeup artists to switch between each rooms. The little barn was gorgeous for the ceremony, we had Gilt edge style the wedding and it was absolutely perfect taking the stress off designing the decor. She knows the venue so well, that it is just a breeze for her, no request was too much. The conservatory was stunning and such a great space for the breakfast and evening, with the bar close it keeps all your guests in the atmosphere meaning the dance floor was never empty! Julieanne our wedding co-ordinator was brilliant in keeping us on track and making sure everything was perfectly in place for the big day. Shelley and the other hotel staff made everything run smoothly on the day, asking about the little details and ensuring flowers/signs/decor were moved and in place wherever it needed to go at different parts of the day. The venue offers a toastmaster and a resident DJ who were absolutely brilliant, they attended to everything we had asked for and were great fun! The grounds and the rooms where we stayed were beautiful - we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was stress free and the staff were on hand to help with anything we needed. All our guests complimented how good the food and how beautiful the venue was, the service provided was brilliant. Everything was set up exactly when it was planned and nothing was stressful on the day. A really professional and fantastic hotel to host weddings.

Lauren and the B&G team went above and beyond to make sure our day went seamlessly. The food was outstanding and we receive compliments on the lamb to this day. In the run up to the event everything felt laid back but no ask was too much - the Bottle and Glass team made us felt listened to. We picked the B&G, in part, because we didn't want to feel like a conveyor-belt wedding and boy did they deliver. Our day felt intimate but with bags of personality! Thank you to the team for making our dream wedding become a reality!
