Kingswood Manor

We had our wedding at Kingswood Manor at the end of May 2026 and couldn't have been happier with how the day turned out. The venue itself is beautiful, with a lovely setting, plenty of space for our guests and the added benefit of being completely private.

What really stood out was the quality of the venue and the level of service, especially considering the price. The staff were friendly, professional and accommodating throughout, both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself. Everything ran smoothly, which meant we could simply enjoy the occasion without having to worry about the arrangements.

We also received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and how well everything was organised. Looking back, we genuinely couldn't have asked for a better setting for our wedding. For the quality of the venue, the service and the overall experience, the venue offered exceptional value for money. We'd happily recommend it to anyone considering it for their wedding.

Jaz was amazing coordinated everything so great made sure everything was done and I had no stress the time up to the wedding was stress free and she made sure everything was set before the big the team at Kingswood were great on the day ! The venue itself was like a fairytale everything I wanted it was a dream all the guests were blown away !!! Very very grateful for this team and I wish I could relive everything again ! Thank you to all the team who worked hard to make my day special !

The plus points of this venue are it's beautiful, in good condition and the marquee has recently been built. They are also quite accommodating if you want to do extra things like hire inflatable toys and games or provide your own drink for the meal. They're also happy to have whatever supplier you like instead of using a set list. They are very hands off and will not pester you or try and up sell you.

However, we didn't have a great experience here. Firstly there are a lot of extra charges. If you want more tables to set up sweets or cakes it's £15 per table. If you'd like to use the fire pit, it's unclear whether this is free or £290 which includes them setting it up for you, providing marshmallows and 4 bottles of house wine. They will set out the chairs for your ceremony but they are the same chairs used for dinner and if you want them to move them back into place so your guests have somewhere to sit to eat, that's a £70 charge.

We sent an email saying

"Thanks for clarifying about the cash bar.
In case it's needed for the invoice, we will:

1) Bring our own alcohol and soft drinks for the toast
2) Bring our own table wine for the meal
3) Direct guests to the cash bar provided by yourselves, for the evening

If that all sounds fine, do pop the invoice over.

If you wouldn't mind letting us know what time you can open the bar from, just so we can plan the day. "

And this apparently was not enough confirmation for them to provide the cash bar. We only found out there was no cash bar when we enquired about it the night before the wedding and were told there wasn't one. I spoke to someone on the phone who essentially spoke down to me and was really condescendingly informed me that it was our fault there was no cash bar and they would try and fix our problem for us but that we should have told them in writing we wanted it. I'm not sure what else we could have done and to this day they still claim we were at fault. Extra upsetting as they knew we'd been in hospital with our ten month old the two days before and we already in a highly upset and stressed state. In the end they did provide a cash bar but even to this day they say the fault was ours for not informing them properly we wanted one.

They also charged us £90 for rubbish left but when we asked for proof of this, they showed photos of our guests clearing up at 11pm at night. A lot of the rubbish sent to us on the photos was cleared up after the photos were taken as it was via cctv. It's also worth noting that you are required to clean up immediately after your event. So at 11pm at night you need to take all your decorations down, the food out, any extra furniture and rubbish out of the marquee at 11pm at night.

They are not pushy but this is also a negative at times as it has on more than one occasion taken two weeks and chasing on our part to get a response to emails.

I chased three times before getting the security deposit back. It was past the deadline set out in their contract. But again no apology.

It is a nice venue but we felt they did not care about us or our wedding.

Firstly, a beautiful venue, stunning, manor house, beautiful grounds, and a Pinterest worthy glass Marquee. Everything from the initial viewing to booking then the day was flawless, the Kingswood Manor team was super helpful and kind. They communicated with our suppliers independently, which was nice. We had the day before to set up the venue and time afterwards to clear up. The marquee and space was lovely, super light and luxurious, my Pinterest board really came to life! I would recommend this venue to any future brides!

We got married at Kingswood Manor and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue. From our first viewing through to the big day, the team were organised, responsive, and genuinely calm to deal with which made a huge difference when wedding planning gets hectic.

The venue itself is beautiful and photographed so well. Our guests kept commenting on how lovely the setting was and how smoothly everything ran.

We first got married in the Manor Marquee at Kingswood Manor in early 2020 just before the lockdown, and it was everything we could have dreamed of elegant, beautiful, and full of charm. The team made the whole experience seamless, from planning to the big day itself. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the stunning venue and warm hospitality.

Fast forward to September 2025, and we celebrated our 5-year vow renewal albeit now with 2 beautiful children of ours beside us at Kingswood Manor, and it was even more magical! Seeing the space again brought back all the wonderful memories of our wedding day, and the team went above and beyond to make our celebration intimate and special. The marquee looked stunning, and the atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for.

We are so grateful to the staff for their care, professionalism, and attention to detail on both occasions.
