We came across Ravenswood when initially looking for a venue to get married. Straight away Ravenswood were quick to respond and book us in for a look around. It was the first venue we visited and we instantly knew we wanted to get married there, we loved the little castle and outdoor space and also the exterior and interior decor. From there onwards members of the team would check in regularly and send useful information over. Before the big day we met with Dawn, she was so reassuring and made us feel at ease the whole time. On the wedding day she was there whenever we needed anything and was always willing to help. We highly recommend Ravenswood as your venue!

Getting married can be a logistical nightmare, the jargon, the endless list of vendors, and not being able to take time to relax. Ravenswood couldn't of made the whole experience easier. They handled 80% of everything taking all the stress and delivered an amazing day. Natalie (our wedding coordinator) helped us and made us feel special and cared for at every step and the day couldn't of been better because of the hard work they put in, everything from helping you set up, the food with the in house catering, the accommodation, making the paperwork easy, and having such a beautiful venue all to yourself and your wedding party.

All of the staff were so attentive and professional but as for Katie, she went over and beyond what i would have expected.
I must admit, as Father of the Bride, I did push the envelope with regards to requirements and needs but nothing was too much trouble for Katie and the team.
The venue is amazing and when coupled with a team of people determined to make "The Special Day" the best it can be, you will not be disappointed.

Our absolute dream venue- beautiful rooms, amazing outdoor space, an incredible wedding coordinator in Molly, delicious food and drink, and lovely rooms for our guests to stay.

Our experience from start to finish was incredible- everything was made so easy for us, plus we were able to tailor the experience to exactly what we wanted.

All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and many said they felt like “royalty” during the day. There was always something going on and delicious food and drink throughout the day too.

Molly our wedding coordinator was amazing, always available for any question leading up to the event and on the day made sure we and our wedding party were looked after well (including food and drinks) throughout the day - whilst making sure everything went to plan down to the smallest detail.

We wish we could go back and experience another day at the Ravenswood!

The Ravenswood will always be a special place for my wife and I, as it was home to the most memorable, spectacular and magical day of our lives.

Our wedding was unapologetically us, and Natalie and the team went way above and beyond to understand the brief and bring our vision to life.

They helped bring our Disney-style fairytale theme to life, not just by accessorising staff outfits with Mickey Mouse ears; but by things like accepting a delivery of and storing dry ice so we could have our genie/master of ceremonies appear in a cloud of smoke. This also involved getting in a special table and covering it in table cloths to hide him. There were a whole series of unusual last minute challenges that the team took in their stride.

Ours was the Ravenswood’s first 100% vegan wedding and they went above and beyond: not only did they put on entirely vegan lunch, dinner and breakfast, they went as far as researching and removing any non vegan options from the bar and ensuring that only plant based milks were available with coffee. As an ardent vegan it meant a lot to me that they the made sure there wasn’t an animal product in sight. Whether or not this is your thing, it should be evidence of the level they will go to to understand your individual needs and cater to them.

The only downside is that it’s not possible to have a rehearsal the day before and that the check out can be a little rushed. This is an understandable and inevitable result of a venue that is able to do a wedding every 24 hours, and the advantage is reflected in the very reasonable price point.

I did worry that with a wedding the day before and one the day after it might feel like a bit of a wedding factory / conveyer belt. However the day nevertheless felt deeply personal and special and the experience felt acutely tailored to us. The whole impressive operation does run like clockwork and we couldn’t have felt in more experienced, organised and capable hands.

Natalie, our coordinator, was a force of nature. Impeccably organised without ever showing stress. Always smiling and friendly whilst being professional to a point. Solutions orientated, creative, and really embraced all of our peculiarities as a challenge.

The grounds are beautiful and were perfect for the sort of magical/whimsical storytelling photos that brought our fairytale vision to life. We put our deposit down within minutes of our first visit and didn’t bother with even visiting the rest of our shortlist.

Our guests were thoroughly impressed and the whole day was a dream come true.

Myself and my new husband got married this week at the ravenswood. I have spent the last few weeks worrying that something would go wrong, but thank you to the lovely Molly and the rest of the team, the day couldn’t have been more perfect! From the minute we first spoke to Molly, she has been nothing but calm, helpful and just an absolutely delight. Nothing has been too much and the day wouldn’t have been the same without her. The venue is beautiful, the food was lovely, rooms were gorgeous including the getting ready room. There isn’t a bad thing I could say about our experience with the ravenswood. So happy that we chose this as our venue.

From the very beginning to the actual day, we felt we were in good hands. Always prompt in responses and our needs were met throughout. The actual day itself couldn't have gone any better, all the guests were forthcoming in praising the smoothness of the day and the quality of everything- food, staff, venue etc. Dawn, our co-ordinator, was integral in making our day enjoyable and more than we could've imagined it would be. We genuinely had the best day, so thank you to everyone at the Ravenswood!

We had the most amazing wedding at the Ravenswood and cannot thank the team enough. Everything went so smoothly and we had so many compliments about the day - everyone loved the venue and the food.
Having the overnight accommodation available was really important for us as we had family and friends that were travelling to be with us, this was so easy to organise thanks to the accommodation team and it was lovely to be able to have breakfast with our guests the morning after.
We had the lovely Dawn as our coordinator and I don’t think we would have got everything organised without her! She was so helpful and attentive the whole way through and made sure we had the best day. I really didn’t appreciate how involved the wedding coordinator would be especially on the day but Dawn really looked after us and made sure everything was perfect.
In the evening Kate took over the running of the night, keeping everything running smoothly, she even helped look after my 91 year old gran by escorting her to her room and making her a cup of tea when she needed a break which we really appreciate (thank you Kate!).
Also the menu tasting evening was a great experience and helped us appreciate how beautiful the venue is. We would recommend the Ravenswood as a wedding venue and the whole experience was incredible.

What can I say…. From the point of finding and viewing this amazing venue right up until the final moments of our wedding day everything about the booking, planning and the day itself was just perfection. Words can’t describe just how grateful we are for every single staff member going above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. Every single one of our guests commented on how exceptional all staff members were, how amazing the catering was and how truly beautiful the venue was. We simply could not have asked for anymore it truly was everything and more than we could have ever wished and hoped for.
Natalie our wedding coordinator, you were literally my right hand lady throughout the lead up but especially on the day itself. You took absolutely everything in your stride (even when you were having to tie 10’s of 10’s of bows around glasses) and nothing that we wanted ever seemed too much to ask for. From having lint rollers on hand (thank you for getting the fluff off Harvey’s jacket haha) to always ensuring we had a drink in hand there really was nothing else you could have done to make it more perfect. You were absolutely incredible and you constantly had a smile on your face.

We had such an incredible experience at the Ravenswood! The staff, food, venue were perfect and catered to all our needs. Our day ran so smoothly and there is nothing we could fault. The kindest team and our guests were so happy!

From start to finish, we were impressed with this venue. Ellie, who initially showed us around, was extremely welcoming and friendly, and was available to answer all my many questions via WhatsApp. We were able to visit the venue whenever we wanted to show family and have a walk round. I had to reschedule my final details meetings due to illness which was easily done, and they squeezed me in no problem. My coordinator, Dawn, was amazing, and no request we had was too much of an ask for her, she ensured our vision came to life and let us lead how we wanted the day. Dawn clearly has lots of experience and was so calm and relaxed during the day which made us feel at ease As a bride, I never felt that I was asking too much, which was great as I felt like I was being bossy at times! Katie took over in the evening and was so attentive and on the ball all evening, and captured some great footage of our night while we were living in the moment. Can’t recommend this venue enough, all our guests commented on how beautiful the day was and their rooms and breakfast the next day was also a hit! It was a perfect day, thank you so much Ravenswood!

We very last minute (3 days to go!!!) Had to change our wedding date as our baby girl was coming 1 month early! The Ravenswood team could not have been any more understanding or helpful. The date was changed and there was no extra stress or worries, they looked after everything for us.

Throughout our entire planning process and our day, the entire team have been phenomenal, from the correspondence with Ellie, who shown us around the venue the the accommodation staff and all the first of house staff too.

Huge thanks to our coordinator Molly who ensured our day ran smoothly and set up for us beautifully. As well as a huge thank you to our evening manager Katie, who ensured the evening went off without a hitch.

We had a fantastic wedding from start to finish all the staff and planners are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The whole day was seamless and totally magical. Thank you to Dawn who was our planner she made us feel so at ease and was there if we needed anything. She hunted out my bag when I needed my lipstick and kept Steve updated that everything was going ok. We really couldn’t recommend this venue enough and would love to do it all again.

We chose to have our wedding at The Ravenswood. In fact, it was the first and only venue we looked at. We fell in love with it right away. The grounds and building were simply stunning - bursting with character.

In the build-up to our big day, the staff and Molly, our wedding coordinator, were extremely attentive. They dived into the details when needed. Everything was done in a timely fashion and they were always on hand to answer our questions, however trivial. I can’t recall any real hitches.

Our wedding day was our vision brought to life. The ceremony ran smoothly. We were lucky to have chosen a dry Winters day which allowed us to get some beautiful couple shots around the grounds. We were blown away by the stunning backdrops, before heading back inside for a wonderful dinner service. The food was hearty and tasty. Nobody left hungry! All of our guests, both daytime and reception, commented on the charming architecture. Adding how much they enjoyed themselves. As for the hospitality, the Honeymoon suite was excellent value for money.

I’d 100% recommend the Ravenswood to any couple!
