Absolutely fantastic! Our day was amazing and it had been postponed four times due to covid. The Village Hotel could not have been more accommodating with the change of dates. Everything was perfect on the day and Lucy Smart-Cohen, our wedding co-ordinator, was brilliant. She was friendly, approachable, so organised and I had every confidence in her. All the staff involved on the day were brilliant too. Very friendly, but still professional, and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel was ideal for us and our guests. Plenty of parking and plenty of rooms for those guests that stayed overnight. Competitive pricing, Our big day finally happened and went without a hitch. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about The Village Hotel and staff! A perfect day!

We first heard of the Village at the wedding fayre based at the hotel. Once we attended this we was set at having our wedding reception here. Great value for money, helpful staff and very helpful with allocating rooms for our families to stay local for the wedding weekend. Good food, good rooms and the party room and buffet at the evening was excellent. The Village are also very accommodating to allow other wedding companies to attend to set up different parts of our big day. Very happy and would advise this venue to others. Thank you.

Had a fantastic wedding at the tickled trout, Food was amazing and good portion size. Staff were friendly and accommodating, they made my wedding breakfast look amazing and set it out as I wanted. Charlie is great and was always helpful with needs and replies quickly to any quires and emails. Nothing was too much trouble. Venue it self is perfect and we hired whole pub out which was great such a pretty venue inside and out.

When we first visited The Mitre for a wedding showcase, we knew almost instantly that this would be our wedding venue. From our initial enquiry all the way to the wedding day, The Mitre team (especially Jessica!) was incredible, attentive and warm, making the planning process so easy and pleasant. We had all of our friends and family from separate countries come and stay at The Mitre for a wedding weekend and it truly was a beautiful chance to be together and celebrate in such a historic and cosy venue. On the wedding day itself, the operations team was so organised, streamlined and attentive and everything went perfectly! Our wedding was everything I dreamed it would be, thanks to the incredible team at The Mitre -- highly recommend as a venue!

Very professional and accommodating Was so impressed with the service and quick responses and enjoyed our tours very much. The venue is so beautiful, we were blown away and really wanted to get married here. Sadly our guest list expanded too big (over 100 for ceremony) so couldn’t go ahead with this venue. But would really recommend people to go have a look as the pictures do not even do it justice as to how lovely it is

Where do we start…me and my husband Jamie booked Bromley court hotel in October 2024 and got married in September 2025. From start to finish everything went smoothly and communication was amazing. Firstly Amy is amazing and one of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. She made us feel at ease and explained everything in depth with us including different options for food as we wanted a buffet instead of a sit down meal. Even on the day she was amazing and came to check on us both and ensured everything ran smoothly for us and everything was perfect. Secondly Antonio is equally as amazing as Amy and was there at mine and my husbands every need from the day before up until the day after the wedding. The night of the wedding as we didn’t really get to eat much he even organised for food from the buffet to be taken to our room so we were able to eat something before going to bed and ensured that timings ran well and even when we were ahead of schedule communicated about the fact we could do the speeches earlier so we could get on the dancefloor sooner! The rest of the team are also amazing from the front of house staff to the cleaning team, me and my husband cannot fault a single thing and would do it all over again here. We are planning to go back on our 1 year anniversary to stay there but would like to do this every year in the future as it’s just so comfortable and the rooms are beautifully done. Thank you to all at Bromley court hotel and we’ll see you soon! Highly recommend them and do not hesitate to book here for your wedding!

Thank you to everyone at Elcot Park for making our wedding day so wonderful. From the beautiful setting, to the delicious food and drink, it was everything we had hoped for. In particular, thank you to Ella, who was on hand for the entire planning process and on the day, to ensure everything went to plan. Nothing was too much trouble. Her kindness and professionalism was so appreciated and she was even on hand to calm our nerves right before the ceremony! Everything ran smoothly, and every detail was thought of - meaning that we could completely relax and enjoy the day. We cannot recommend this highly enough as a wedding venue.

We had our special day on the 11th October 2025, and everything was amazing. The team from the moment we came in for the open day until the wedding day were so helpful, polite, friendly and everything we could want. Considering the hiccups and hurdles (non venue related) the whole team worked tirelessly to give us the perfect day. Pre communication was great with prompt responses and no question being too much including the booking and the planning. Thank you to Jo, Maisie and Ellie! Every conversation online and in person was met with smiles and understanding. Silvia and her team on the day were amazing, catering to everything we asked for, and some just off their own accord which was appreciated. The food had raving reviews from guests and us too of course. Everything was listened to from the tasting and implemented on the actual day too. Silvia problem solved on the day and discreetly too without us even knowing until the day after. She is extremely professional but very approachable too. All of the bar staff were super friendly and genuinely looked like they wanted to be there. All of the hotel staff were lovely, we had great service. We stayed an extra night after our wedding and again just met with smiles throughout and plenty of congratulations. I cannot fault Horwood, they really made our day as special as it could be and I wish I could do it all over again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone because they’d get such a memorable day in return. Thank you again to all of the Horwood team! We’ve already booked a night stay on our wedding anniversary so can’t wait to return!

We celebrated our wedding at Stirrups in May and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. From the moment we arrived , we were struck by how much character the place has. It is charming, full of personality and has beautiful gardens. The staff were very attentive on the day and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Especially Sam and Brent who were amazing on the day. Our guests loved the food, from the delicious wedding breakfast to the evening buffet. On the morning of the wedding my mum and I were treated to a fresh fruit platter and hot rolls, which were really yummy and a thoughtful touch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how stunning it all looked. Stirrups will always hold a special place in our hearts and we highly recommend it for weddings and functions!
