The service of everyone involved was amazing from the very first meeting to the night itself. The food was amazing exceeded our expectations, the room itself was perfect, clean and tidy.

Absolutely fantastic! Our day was amazing and it had been postponed four times due to covid. The Village Hotel could not have been more accommodating with the change of dates. Everything was perfect on the day and Lucy Smart-Cohen, our wedding co-ordinator, was brilliant. She was friendly, approachable, so organised and I had every confidence in her. All the staff involved on the day were brilliant too. Very friendly, but still professional, and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel was ideal for us and our guests. Plenty of parking and plenty of rooms for those guests that stayed overnight. Competitive pricing, Our big day finally happened and went without a hitch. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about The Village Hotel and staff! A perfect day!

We had our whole wedding day at the village hotel and we could t of asked for more. It was everything we hoped for. The staff was lovely, the decorations were beautiful and the food for both day and evening were 10 out of 10, the rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet the next day was amazing and we have a 6 months gym membership too.

Had a fantastic wedding at the tickled trout, Food was amazing and good portion size. Staff were friendly and accommodating, they made my wedding breakfast look amazing and set it out as I wanted. Charlie is great and was always helpful with needs and replies quickly to any quires and emails. Nothing was too much trouble. Venue it self is perfect and we hired whole pub out which was great such a pretty venue inside and out.

We had our wedding at The Mitre Hotel and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. From our very first conversations, Jessica and the rest of the team were fantastic. Communication was clear and consistent, and we always felt well informed and supported throughout the planning process. The tasting was a real highlight. The food was outstanding, and several of our guests later told us it was the best wedding meal they’d ever had. The team also handled dietary requirements seamlessly, which took a huge amount of pressure off us. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork. The organisation was impeccable, yet we never felt like just another wedding in a busy schedule. The team made us feel genuinely special and completely at ease. The wedding suite was beautiful and the perfect place to end the day. Thank you to everyone at The Mitre for making sure our wedding went so smoothly and without a single problem. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We still talk about how quickly our wedding day went! London Empire gave us a lovely space to celebrate with our family and friends, and the staff were genuinely kind throughout. One of our favourite moments was our first dance we were both so nervous, but once the music started, we completely forgot about everyone watching us! The whole day felt relaxed and special, and we left with some really happy memories. ❤️

Bromley court hotel was the best choice we could have made for our special day. From the moment we met Daisy, through the booking process, tasting, decorating and day organisation, I cannot fault them. Their garden is amazing, their rooms beautiful and the staff excellent. Overall, I am so so happy with them, I cannot thank them enough!

We are a US couple with mostly US guests, and it was so special to bring everyone we love together for a weekend in the English countryside. We had around 120 guests for a black-tie wedding, and everyone absolutely fell in love with The Retreat. Our guests are still talking about the setting, the food, the atmosphere and, most of all, how incredibly warm and friendly the entire team were. Nearly every guest commented on how attentive and genuinely lovely the staff were. A huge thank you to our incredible planner, Ella, who was truly one of the most important parts of making our weekend so magical. From the very beginning, she brought our dreams to life and somehow made them even better than we had imagined. She cared about the wedding as though it were her own, and her excitement throughout the weekend made us even more excited! On the day, she was our calm in the middle of everything - from helping clean my dress while we were getting ready to helping my brother with a flashlight so he could read his speech at dinner. She made us feel like guests at our own wedding, knowing everything was completely taken care of. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without her. The whole team went above and beyond. Ed organized a brilliant padel tournament with Pimms to kick off the weekend, and Nick created the most incredible dining experiences throughout. Even after the wedding, Kate went and retrieved our menus from the rubbish when I realized I hadn’t saved any - such a small thing, but it perfectly sums up how thoughtful and caring everyone was. The Retreat was the perfect place for us to get married and spend an entire weekend celebrating with our favorite people. It was elegant, timeless, fun, GORGEOUS and completely magical - everything we could have dreamed of and more. We will be forever grateful to Ella and the entire team for giving us the most incredible wedding weekend. If you are considering The Retreat, we truly cannot recommend it enough! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. Horwood House is absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing and the whole day ran so smoothly. A huge thank you to both Maisies, who were incredible throughout the planning process and on the day itself. They were so helpful, organised and genuinely lovely, making us feel completely looked after. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and we’ll always have such special memories of Horwood House. We couldn’t recommend it enough! ❤️

We celebrated our wedding at Stirrups in May and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. From the moment we arrived , we were struck by how much character the place has. It is charming, full of personality and has beautiful gardens. The staff were very attentive on the day and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Especially Sam and Brent who were amazing on the day. Our guests loved the food, from the delicious wedding breakfast to the evening buffet. On the morning of the wedding my mum and I were treated to a fresh fruit platter and hot rolls, which were really yummy and a thoughtful touch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how stunning it all looked. Stirrups will always hold a special place in our hearts and we highly recommend it for weddings and functions!
