Mia and the team at Pierremont Hall are absolutely fantastic, they dealt with every query and question with professionalism, and even handled us being super last minute on some decisions with ease. We couldn't recommend them enough!

I cannot recommend Fort Nelson enough. We had the most fabulous day with the most amazing memories. The food and staff were incredible. Love, love this place

We had our wedding reception at The Orangery on 5th October 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful venue or a better experience! From the moment we booked until the very end of our wedding day, the team was absolutely wonderful.Everything was beautifully organised and the entire day flowed so smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.The venue itself was absolutely magical, the food was lovely, and the atmosphere was everything we had hoped for. What we appreciated most was how welcoming and accommodating the entire team was.Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we genuinely felt that they cared about making our wedding special. Thank you to Josie and the whole team for making our wedding day so unforgettable! We would wholeheartedly recommend The Orangery to any couple looking for a beautiful wedding venue with a wonderful team behind it.

We honestly couldn’t recommend HMS Warrior enough as a wedding venue. From the planning beforehand to the day itself, the whole team were fantastic and made everything feel incredibly easy. We met with the team twice in the run-up to our wedding and always felt that everything was completely under control. On the day, I was met by our event coordinator, Laura, along with our photographer, and from that moment I really didn’t have to think about anything. Laura walked my parents and me onto the ship, introduced us to our caterers, took us below deck to meet with the wedding officials and then made sure everything was ready for my entrance. The music was absolutely on point for my entrance, signing the register and our departure into the reception. As we were lucky enough to have a beautiful day, Laura and the team seamlessly coordinated moving everyone from the lower deck to the upper deck so we could enjoy our drinks and nibbles outside. The area was cordoned off exclusively for us, which made it feel incredibly private and special despite being on such an iconic attraction. We had a small wedding of just 25 people and HMS Warrior was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. We hired the ship for a few hours, had our ceremony followed by drinks and nibbles, enjoyed the ship and the views, and then walked into Gunwharf Quays for dinner and a few drinks afterwards. Everything was within walking distance and the whole day flowed perfectly. I’m sure there was far more happening behind the scenes than I ever knew about because, from my perspective, I pretty much rocked up, got married, had a drink and left! And that probably says everything about just how well organised the team were. A huge thank you to Laura and everyone at HMS Warrior for giving us such a special day. We genuinely wouldn’t change a thing. The best day.

I want to write to thank you for all of your help, support and advice with organising the recent party on Temple Island. Temple Island was simply the perfect and most delightful setting for the party and especially meaningful to the many rowers in attendance. In addition to this both Meridian Marquees and Elegant Cuisine were first class suppliers. In short, the party was truly amazing and will be long remembered by all - Temple Island is not only unique but also a very special venue.

We would 100% recommend the Railway Centre as a wedding venue! We just got married there this weekend and had the most amazing day. From when we first visited and met Belinda we knew it was the perfect location for us. The option to do things yourself allowed us to make our wedding really personal and having the steam train rides for guests was so much fun! Belinda instantly put us at ease and the Railway Centre became our favourite place to go as a family, meaning that by the time we got to our wedding it felt like somewhere really familiar for all of us! We had a lot of children attending our wedding and the large space, accomodating team and family friendly set up meant we were able to hire a soft play which allowed parents to relax and kids to have fun which is exactly what we hoped for! We love that getting married here supports such an amazing place and we look forward to reliving our wonderful wedding day everytime we come back with our kids 😊 Thank you so much to Belinda and the team, we couldn't have asked for anything more!

What a wonderful place for a wedding!! From the moment we arrived with the bride we were made to feel so welcome. A beautiful room for the bridal party to get ready. The ceremony room was beautiful! Following this we had the most delicious canapés! The brewery tour was a lot of fun with Ros as an incredible guide! Such a lovely touch during the day! The wedding breakfast followed with the most incredible food!! Pie and mash followed by the most delicious sticky toffee pudding! The waiting team were fabulous and very smiley and helpful. The evening room was set out perfectly for the Dancing to begin! There was a great atmosphere and it was lovely to have an outdoor seating area with a heater. Thank you for helping to make Louisa and Andrew’s day so special! A perfect day that we will treasure for a long time!

From planning months ahead through to the big day, the experience was fantastic. Lera managed the process by helping us to shape our vision with suggestions and enthusiasm. She really was an integral part of the event. We never had to worry at any stage (including on the day) and everything happened seamlessly. The whole staff at the VBG during the party supported us with positivity and smiles. We would firmly recommend this as a venue for your special day.

After our wedding in August (2026), we could not recommend Hayne House enough to anyone looking for a wedding (or other events) venue. It was the only venue we viewed and we booked our date soon after, given we were so confident it was the perfect venue for us. The Orangery is beautiful with the natural light coming in, the cosy hunting lodge to get ready in, and the wonderful pavilion for outdoor ceremonies. Everyone at Hayne House was approachable, friendly and always there to help (no matter the silly questions we were asking!). Our family and friends couldn't be more praising of the venue, and we had such an amazing day that we will look back on very fondly. A special thanks to Fleur, Kerry and Amber who were so involved in helping make our dream day a reality x
