Burhill Golf Club is a historic wedding venue tucked away in quiet woodlands on the outskirts of Walton on Thames, England. Featuring expansive grounds and a stunning Georgian mansion, this venue is one of Surrey’s most exquisite places to tie the knot. Centrally located near the A3, M25, Heathrow and Gatwick airports, it is easily accessed and has abundant free parking.

Facilities and Capacity

The Barnes Wallis Suite at Burhill Golf Club provides magnificent views of the River Mole and will set a serene tone for your celebration. This suite can seat up to 108 loved ones for a ceremony and wedding breakfast. The Barnes Walls Suite is furnished in neutral colours, allowing you to decorate to your tastes and preferences. You can also host your evening reception in the classically elegant Iveagh Lounge.

Services Offered

Burhill Golf Club only hosts one wedding per day, meaning you will have exclusive use of the estate throughout the festivities. The extensive banqueting menus, including a three-course wedding breakfast, are prepared by the in-house, award-winning Chef. These will be paired with fine wines, and each guest will receive half a bottle of wine. You can also enjoy a complimentary tasting ahead of time for two. Attentive and professional staff will ensure a glorious day to remember throughout the meal. In addition, the venue provides comprehensive and bespoke packages. These can include:

My wedding

Our day was perfect, from start to finish we had a such a fun time. Special thanks go to Jessica whose attention to detail knows no limits. We cant wait to show you the pics.

Where can I start! What an amazing day we had! Of course, it was a magical day because Burhill is just beautiful anyways!! But you all made our day absolute perfection! The amount of detail that I asked and expected from you was sorted exactly how I wanted it. The canapé reception, the breakfast room looked amazing, the service, the food, the timings and then of course the big party afterwards. It was just great!
Again complimenting the staff I don’t think there was a long wait at all for drinks which was brilliant

It was all a dream. Stormzy went well thank god! Everyone had a blast it was great to see everyone having a wonderful day. So many compliments on the food too. Just perfection from every one of you at burhill.

Reshu & Floren ... perfect service throughout. Making sure we were happy and that we were fed and watered. My dad said the same we couldn’t have had a better table service!

Apart from the no microphone, which btw I felt it worked better because people were quietly listening and it made it personal. There not being a knife to cut the cake , but we quickly found one .. all was fine we sorted it out.

Overall a huge thank you to all your staff for all of their hard work throughout this day .

going the extra mile with the finer details

We both (together with our families) just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for making our wedding day a very special one. Nothing was too much trouble and your attention to detail was outstanding. We have received so much lovely feedback from our guests about the venue, food, service and all round experience.

Burhill Golf Club,

Thanks so much for making our day perfect. You tailor-made every moment just how we asked and it went seamlessly. Your team was fantastic. The team was very professional and helpful with every adjustment, and never made a fuss, making it so much less stressful than it already was. Nothing was too much hassle for you

Just to say a massive thank you for all your help with our wedding. You even arranged perfect weather!

We could not of asked for a more lovely, helpful wedding planner, nothing was too much hassle for you.

All of our quests commented on the day, how smoothly you had run the day.

It felt like i was on cloud 9

Harleen - you've been amazing since day 1 and always been so good at responding.. You reassured me when Jade left that everything was going to be fine and you were right.

Emily - you have turned in to a good friend and just knew exactly what I was thinking every-time. You made sure that my wedding was the dream I always had. Thank you.

Damien - thank you for making me not go into a melt down every time I mentioned I didn't like something!!!!!! God knows how you do it but you did. the whole day ran like clock work.

It was such a dream, and we are both so grateful for all of you. I just felt on cloud 9 all day and couldn't take the smile off my face !!

Fantastic staff and amazing venue

I couldn't have asked the team at Burhill to do any more. From first viewing through to the day of the wedding, your staff were fantastic. The venue is amazing, we had the most perfect day. Thank you to everyone for making our day so special and run so smoothly.

fantastic place & food is top class.

This is a fantastic place. We recently hosted our wedding here and I cannot praise the staff highly enough.The attention to detail was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble prior to and during the day. The chef is wonderful and the food is top class. The management and catering staff are of an extremely high standard, warm and friendly.
