Honestly, I cannot find a fault. We booked the Moat around 2 years before our wedding date, booked from a Wedding Showcase. Sat down with Amanda and spoke through what we wanted, paid the deposit and walked out with huge smiles on our face. When I tell you that smile still hasn't stopped. We got assigned Aimee for our wedding and oh my gosh she is just amazing. Constant check ins, made us feel sure in our decisions and if we needed too face to face meetings. She truly is such a lovely person and really made this whole experience a lot less stressful. We got reminders when we needed to pay, had a food trial & exclusive evening events where we could take our parents so they can see the venue. On the day I stayed in the room the night before (this is dependant on if there is a wedding the day before/events etc, you'll find out 3 months before the wedding) where I stayed with my mum and 2 bridesmaids. We went for a meal in the restaurant the night before with my dad, brother and our little dog (who always loves coming with us) where we really enjoyed ourselves! Then back to the room to start wedding prep! The rooms are just gorgeous, the door that opens through was perfect. It was the perfect get ready spot, everyone felt comfortable and cared for. We had yoghurt, fruit and granola in the fridge ready for the morning, water and orange juice too. Which is a nice touch. Aimee came in and checked on us around every hour and a half/two hours to make sure we had everything we needed. She is just a natural at this kind of stuff, coming in & having a little dance with us to help calm nerves. She helped with the first look and made sure the photographer got the perfect angles! Then the wedding time came, all the guests went into the ceremony room, my bridesmaids & myself in the tap room ready to walk down the isle. A quick pep talk from the staff & Aimee and off we went. Music was timed perfect, my dress was fluffed before I walked down which I didn't even think of doing & we got married! After the ceremony, we went back up to the tap room & got our first drinks as a married couple handed to us. Which were just perfect, they were exactly what we needed. Our guests were so happy with the service of the bar staff who seemed to just love their jobs! After our drinks reception we went back down to the ceremony room for our wedding breakfast which was beautifully laid out by the team there, the food was served promptly. I cannot fault anything with the service, the food was delicious, Miles was always around with bottles of wine to top up ensured everyone always had a drink, served with a huge smile! Speeches came & the microphone came out, even that was perfect - we had a little fault with one of them but was seamlessly swapped over for a new mic! Once food was done it was dancing time, the in house DJ they have Carl is also Amazing! Made sure we had music played that we wanted, but when I tell you our dance floor was NEVER empty - I mean it! We danced our hearts out, had fun and shared love with the entire room. Once it was all over, we went back to our rooms for the night. Then up for breakfast with our guests the next morning, which was also, amazing. I think the one thing you have to take out of this review is that I genuinely cannot find any faults, it was the perfect day. From the staff, to the venue, to the food, every single little thing was perfect. Thank you to Aimee and the team at The Moat for making our day, just so perfect. I keep getting people raving about it and that is due to your service and delivery, thank you.

Great venue, beautiful room with its own exclusive outdoor area. Both areas recently refurbished. The wedding coordinator was amazing from start to finish, flexible providing for our wants & needs. All staff were amazing on the day. Food was brilliant, great comments from all our guests on the quality of food. Accommodation was beautiful and of a high standard. I would highly rate this venue as a choice for wedding venue and wedding reception.

We honestly could not have wished for a better venue for our wedding day. The setting is very special, in a small hamlet set high in the Cotswolds countryside, with stunning views. Our experience and anticipation of the day was made all the better by the expert support provided by their event planner, Natalie, who thought of everything, and brought to life exactly the day we wanted. We had the feasting menus which made for a really friendly atmosphere and the quality was outstanding - some guests remarked that it was the best food they had had out anywhere. To cater to such a standard, and at scale (70 guests) is really something. Having accommodation on site was a huge plus - we arrived the previous afternoon and felt like we were in a special pre-wedding world from the moment we arrived! The ceremony took place outside and being able to stay in the same place for this and the celebrations afterwards really helped everyone feel relaxed and totally 'in the zone'. The team at the Feathered Nest were lovely and did so much to make our day feel so special. We really can't recommend this place highly enough.

Don't think I've ever danced so much in my life! Loved how intimate it was, everyone was nearby so I got to see all my guests properly. The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful. The DJ you provided as part of our package was fab, didn't bat an eye at our more unconventional song choices and got everyone moving. Oh and the food was so good. Those roast potatoes!! I dropped one on my dress and the gravy stain still reminds me of how good that food was ?? Wish I could do it all over again

My wife and I had an incredible wedding at The Mill and we want to thank Conor and all of the team for doing such a lovely job with preparation and on the day support! We couldn't be happier with how the day turned out, and we will relive it in our minds for a long time to come! I also want to say a huge thank you for being so accommodating with the food allergies and dietary requirements of the group, it was appreciated that we could meet all of our guests needs. We very recently held our Wedding at the Red Barn and it’s hard to express in words just how much of an amazing day we had. We fell in love with the venue last December; the character and rustic charm of the main room with the beams and fireplace creates such a warm and relaxing atmosphere, with the beautiful Christmas decorations up it is simply magical and we knew instantly this was where we wanted to get married. So many people commented on how beautiful the room looked and how wonderful the venue was. We want to say a very heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Red Barn for making our day so memorable. A special thank you to Marilyn who took over our wedding planning 3 months before the day; she was truly fantastic, warm and friendly and super organised!! I knew the first time we met that I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing, she made the whole day stress free and to be honest everything just flowed and I didn’t have to get involved in a thing! I have to also say very well done to Ferri the chef and all the kitchen team, the food was absolutely fantastic! (another reason why we chose this venue in the first place) and everyone praised it – especially the individual beef wellingtons which were tender and cooked to perfection. We wish the Red Barn all the success in the future and we fully recommend the venue to future couples looking for their dream venue, we will be seeing you soon!

We hosted our wedding reception at Papillon in April 2026 and we had the best day of our lives. The whole day felt extremely well organised, and it all went very smoothly. We were especially impressed with all of the staff on the day – they were really friendly and helpful, allowing us to enjoy our day, with the odd request for extra cocktails and emergency coffees thrown in! We both felt very relaxed during the day, knowing that things were going smoothly, and everybody was enjoying the day. The food was exceptional - everybody was more than satisfied with the portions, and it was all delicious. We hosted a jam session as our evening entertainment on the stage downstairs - this was so much fun, and we were very impressed with the general sound and stage setup – the groom playing guitar on our wedding day is a memory we will cherish! Communication prior to the wedding was also very professional and thorough - Tommy and Ellie both dedicated lots of time to us via meetings, emails and phone calls in the build up to our big day. We felt like everyone was very organised, and they gave us confidence that the day would go well, and were very accommodating to our queries and specific requests we had for the wedding. Overall we are so happy that we chose Papillon for our wedding reception, and we will always cherish the memories we have of our big day!

We had our wedding at Worplesdon Place in June 2026 and had such an amazing and wonderful day! In the lead up to our wedding Imogen was great in helping us figure out the details up to and including on the day! She was fantastic in bringing our vision of what we wanted to life, and was very present and attentive on the day! Tom was also incredibly helpful in clarifying what we needed to do and what was possible for our day. We felt that the Worpledon Place team was incredibly supportive and flexible and made our day feel seamless! We absolutely love the style and vibes of their rooms and the building itself! We had the feature boutique room for 2 nights; the night before our wedding through to the day after our wedding. The bridal party was able to have the feature boutique room exclusively for getting ready on the day. The groom and groomsmen were able to have a big boutique room (one of the groomsmen had this room booked) where they were able to get ready too, Both rooms provided a great vibe and ample space for the parties to build up to the celebrations. We had 58 guests with us for our ceremony in the Garden View Room and our wedding breakfast was held across the Baxendale Suite (Lake View Room and Garden View Room). The Garden View Room is so beautiful with the bay window bringing in a lot of natural light with a pretty backdrop to the ceremony. The food was also delicious! One of the big motivators (of many) with having our wedding at Worplesdon Place was because we knew their food is amazing! We were blown away with how they still functioned as a pub whilst also providing our food for us throughout the day and it being such great quality! The grounds outside have such beautiful trees, the lake and the overall greenery gave us great opportunities for some beautiful photos! We had Emma from ‘Make Your Mark’ (painting activity) join us on our day, and the Worplesdon Place staff were very accommodating of this activity! It has now been nearly 3 months since our wedding day and we have such great joy reminiscing and looking back on the photos from the day, and remembering how it was everything we wanted and more!

I cannot recommend Foil Events highly enough for wedding coordination! Kate and Shelly were exceptional in their roles, ensuring that every detail of our wedding at Pier Court was handled with care and precision. Their communication was top-notch—using emails and WhatsApp groups to keep us updated and ensure that all our needs were met. On the big day, everything ran smoothly without any issues. I truly felt looked after, and their professionalism allowed us to enjoy every moment. Our wedding was nothing short of magical, and many of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. With a lot of moving parts, including drag queens, rock bands, and sound technicians, Kate and Shelly managed everything flawlessly. Feedback from everyone involved highlighted how well the team at Pier Court worked together. Additionally, the catering was exceptional. Guests raved about the food, calling it the best wedding food they had ever had. If you’re considering a wedding venue, don’t delay—book Pier Court and Foil Events. You won’t regret it!

From the first viewing of the venue we were made to feel so welcome and at ease. Such a stunning little venue. So many guests commented on what a wonderful pub it is. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. We are the simple fun filled day here and it is lovely we can visit regularly and know that we got married there. The room for the overnight stay was super lovely.
