We had the most amazing day thanks to chris and the team at the crown inn. Fantastic service, the most delicious food and the best support leading up to our big day!!!! Truly fantastic.

I had my wedding at the Crown and Treaty in February 2024. Ellie, Chelsea and the team were fantastic. They helped me decorate the venue which looked beautiful. Ellie created a bespoke menu which was delicious. Highly recommend

We had our wedding with Andrew, Hollie & the team last weekend! It was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everything we asked for they accommodated. The food was beautiful. They had plenty of staff, so no ques at the bar and tables cleared in a timely manner. We have had nothing but complements about the full day. We would highly recommend for any future couples looking for a wedding venue.

weddings are stressful... but the team at The Ship were incredible. Attentive and was ahead of the game the whole time. They were prepared and ready for food and drink. We didn't expect the weather to be nice so didn't discuss an outdoor area, but when we arrived we had a big area for family and friends to chat and enjoy a drink outside in the marque. A great touch.

I think we must have given the blue ball team whiplash with the amount our marriage plans changed! However Colin and Janice amazing the whole way through. We eloped and held our reception at the blue ball. Everyone raved about how lovely the food was and how friendly Colin was, who made himself well known to our guests and even loaded the kids up on ice cream when they started to crash lol. Everyone here is so knowledgeable about events and the wedding industry. We wanted something intimate and lowkey and that’s exactly what we got. They hired us a brilliant DJ for the evening and everything went so well. The team couldn’t have been more hands on and ready to help at every moment. They made our night super special and we’ll be coming back regularly in the future (both for the incredible food and friendly faces). We honestly couldn’t recommend them enough!

We held our wedding reception here in November 2014. The venue is special to us as the brides grandparents also held their wedding reception here in 1943! We had just over 100 guests, so had a marquee erected outside the front of the venue where we also bought a local hog roast company in to provide food. We loved the fact we had free reign to create a really special place that meant a lot to us, we could decorate how we liked and bought in our own tables, chairs, DJ, food providers and entertainment. With this being a Royal British Legion the bar prices were extremely reasonable to everyone's liking. It was a complete success.

I had a wedding here in 2022 it was fantastic the garden was a beautiful space and comfortably fitted 150 guests in there. The food was exceptional and the wedding was tailored to exactly what i wanted and what suited my budget.

Crimble and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. The venue looked gorgeous - especially as it was a winter wedding with the Christmas decorations already on display - and the combined rooms on the fist floor provided an elegant, yet intimate space for our 55+guests.

The team at the Jolly were really warm, welcoming and accommodating. It really felt like they wanted to make our day as special as they could. The food was delicious, with a special mention to the canapés that were both beautiful and so tasty! It was really nice to have the rooms upstairs for close family to stay. We had a really magical day.

My husband & I recently got married at The Moat after a short 5 months of planning! We found the venue and quickly fell in love. Rebecca made all of the quick planning so easy and supported us being in regular contact and helping with any questions! She is a lovely person and helped me with nerves and suggestions that I needed! On the day everything tan so smoothly and the team behind the bar , servers and everyone involved helped to make it so perfect! I would recommend this beautiful venue for anyone’s wedding , it was perfect and the package they offered was everything we wished for at a great value! Was the perfect day for us and everyone shared such lovely words about our venue and how we choose to plan our wedding. Thank you so much Team Moat & Rebecca!
