Begin your morning in The Pamper Room, a peaceful haven where you can relax and enjoy special moments before walking down the aisle. Also arriving Spring 2026, Shepherd’s Rest is a charming shepherd’s hut-style second preparation space, giving you and your partner separate, peaceful surroundings to relax, get ready and savour every moment before the ceremony.
The Ceremony Barn, filled with natural light streaming through cathedral-style windows, offers a warm, romantic atmosphere with oak panelling, exposed beams, and a Minstrel’s Gallery overlooking beautiful gardens. For outdoor ceremonies, The Spinney provides an enchanting setting surrounded by woodland and accompanied by birdsong, perfect for an intimate “I do.”
After your vows, the Reception Room welcomes you to start the celebrations. Enjoy canapés and drinks in the Mediterranean Courtyard while guests explore the lush gardens, providing a stunning backdrop for photos.
The Dining Room is a showstopper, featuring high ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and the perfect canvas for your wedding theme. Beautiful venue- excellent staff
The staff were all so helpful and responded quick to enquiries. Planning felt easy as there wasn’t much to remember/ do as there was a variety of recommended suppliers to get us started and dates for payment etc were simply set out for us.
Only critique is that the booked couples event to sample food and drink is an additional cost. We felt that when you are spending a lot of money having a wedding at a particular venue, it should be included to sample the food you are going to be offering to your guests. Also the lodge isn’t the most competitively priced for the area to hire and there’s an additional charge for additional beds in the “family” rooms, which I did feedback directly at the time.
The best day
We wanted to say a special thank you to Daniel, our event manager, who truly did go above and beyond for us when it came to planning and the actual day! He even helped me organise a surprise cheese stack cake for my husband! I felt so calm and relaxed on my wedding morning, and a lot of this is thanks to feeling entirely prepared because of Daniel and his team.
Thanks again Rivervale Barn for giving us the most perfect day we could have ever imagined!

Most stunning venue
The communication and customer service throughout the whole process was excellent, but the staff on the day were absolutely amazing! We felt, and also had comments from many of our guests, that it was really well run. We were completely at ease knowing everything was being taken care of. And the food was incredible!
We truly had the best day ever, at the most stunning venue!

Our Dream Wedding
Most of our pre-wedding communication was with Lyndsay, who was the picture of professionalism throughout; attentive, efficient and always so reassuring. On the day itself, we were in the wonderful hands of our events manager, Norleen, whose warm, positive and kind energy instantly put us at ease. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything ran seamlessly.
The day itself was simply magical. The grounds are stunning, the venue looked absolutely fantastic, and the white-glove dinner service, along with the quality (and generous portions!) of the food, was outstanding. Every single staff member we encountered was kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make the day perfect.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was everything we dreamed of and more; worth every penny.

The venue was lovely and the weather on our day was fantastic, but we have to give an extra shout out to our wedding coordinator Lyndsay, from the planning phase through to the day itself she was always available and willing to go the extra mile for us. We had an amazing day and are very thankful to the entire Rivervale team. The whole team made the day run really smoothly - and also catered to our bespoke menu requests which we were very grateful for! We would definitely recommend this venue to other couples and cannot thank Rivervale enough!
