Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park, is a wedding venue located in Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey. This historic Georgian mansion holds protected heritage status and sits at the peak of London's biggest Royal Park. It is also the only wedding venue situated within a London Royal Park and is home to around 650 deer. A tranquil setting, it feels a million miles from the bustle of the nearby city.

Facilities and Capacity
Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park is a Grade II listed Georgian Mansion and the front portico is adorned with classic Wisteria. The interior features high Georgian ceilings and a harmonious atmosphere that offers a calm vibe for your wedding celebrations. Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park offers two different venues. The Belvedere can comfortably host up to 140 guests for both ceremony and reception in a neutral light-filled space that lends itself to any style or colour scheme. A further 60 guests can be accommodated for the later festivities. Full-height windows lead straight out to The Belvedere Terrace, offering stunning west-facing views across The Thames Valley. The outdoor terrace has wedding licensing, perfect for ceremonies under the charming Oak Pergola. The Russell Suite holds a wedding license and perfectly accommodates up to 70 daytime guests or 100 evening guests. This elegant room boasts grand Georgian bay windows, soaring ceilings, and beautiful marble fireplaces. The Woodland Garden serves as The Russell Suite's private outdoor area and offers the option for outdoor wedding ceremonies under a specially designed Oak Gazebo. King Henry's Mound in the gardens has London's only view protected by law. The beautifully maintained grounds of Pembroke Lodge offer amazing photo opportunities all year round.

Perfect wedding venue

We got married in the Russell Suite on 13th June 2026. The entire experience with Pembroke Lodge, Robert, Kelvin, Lucy, Nicola and everyone else was exceptional.

Pembroke Lodge is an extremely beautiful venue at all times of year but the gardens were particularly beautiful in June!

Our emails and questions were responded to very promptly for the entire period leading up to the wedding and it was clear everything was very well organised. It was very easy to get the plans sorted.

On the day I didn't worry about a thing because the staff at Pembroke Lodge managed every element so well and everything ran exactly to plan! All of the food and drink was lovely. The butternut squash risotto was a particular highlight.

I would strongly recommend Pembroke Lodge to anyone for an amazing wedding, and it's fantastic value for money as well.

Poor duty of care and management

At a wedding and the overall venue, wedding manager on the day and staff let guests down. They have a duty of care in a heatwave that was severely overlooked. When umbrellas were requested ahead of time this is denied. If this is deemed as for health a safety for wind on a terrace then this can be managed. Have large, heavy bases that are brought out with an acceptable wind level. Having guests for 1.5 hours on a baking terrace in full sun is terrible. For elderly and young babies. Water had to keep being requested with no urgency to fill the jugs. And the on the day manager needed winding up- announcements were so lacklustre and droll- it’s a wedding, let’s have a bit of happiness. There was no one there to greet the bride or tell her where to go upon arrival, staff didn’t know the grooms and and bridesmaids had to request the ceremony runner plastic be removed which the manager was unhappy doing and had a go at the photographer for. Overall service lacking and needs addressing.

A perfect day

Our wedding at Pembroke Lodge was truly a dream come true. From start to finish, everything was stress free and ran so smoothly that we were able to fully enjoy every moment of our special day.

The entire team was incredibly attentive, professional, and kind throughout the whole process. A special thank you to Robert, who went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was exactly as we had imagined and honestly, even better than we had dreamed. His attention to detail and calm approach made us feel completely at ease.

The food was excellent and received so many compliments from our guests. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate such an important day. We highly recommend Pembroke Lodge to any couple looking for a beautiful, well organized, and truly memorable wedding experience.

Belvedere, 06/06/26

We got married at Pembroke Lodge in the Belvedere suite on the 6th June 2026 and had such a fantastic day!

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and in such a beautiful location. We did unfortunately have a bit of wind and rain on the day and had to use the inside rooms for the reception drinks instead of the terrace, but these were still lovely and spacious for our 85 guests. The main Belvedere suite looked beautiful both for our ceremony and the wedding breakfast and was a fantastic space for the band and the dancefloor in the evening.

All of the staff were amazing from start to finish. In particular, we’d like to thank Nicola from the events team who was super quick to respond to our many email queries in the lead up to the big day. And we have to give a special shout out to Nelson, our venue co-ordinator and MC on the day, who was absolutely incredible. Throughout the whole process, he offered great advice, always seemed one step ahead, and had everything under control. He even appeared on the dancefloor with a drink for us several times when he noticed our glasses were empty!

The entire Pembroke Lodge staff were also very flexible and accommodating – they managed to get us outside on the terrace for a brief dry spell during the drinks reception (and back in again when it rained) without any bother about having to change the set up. In fact, numerous friends and family commented to us on how smoothly the day ran which is a testament to their organisation and hard work.

The food for the wedding breakfast was also delicious and beautifully-presented, and some of our guests told us that the evening pizza buffet was the best pizza they had ever eaten!

Overall, we’d just like to say a massive thank you to the Pembroke Lodge team and especially to Nelson for helping us have the best day of our lives. We can’t recommend them enough and wish we could live the day all over again!

Russel Suit- Our wedding 12/06

Highly recommend Pembroke Lodge for wedding. The process was transparent and highly organised from the very beginning which eased much of the anxiety. Sid who was our event manager was available through out the whole journey and made the day high enjoyable as we did not needed to worry about anything.

Perfect wedding venue - Nelson was amazing!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. Pembroke Lodge exceeded every expectation, from the stunning views over Richmond Park to the warm, professional service that made the whole day feel effortless.

We have to give a very special mention to Nelson, who was an absolute standout from start to finish. His communication throughout the entire planning process was exceptional. He was always responsive, always reassuring, and always one step ahead. His communication and planning was amazing before the wedding, was a constant reassuring presence on the day itself, and even followed up thoughtfully afterwards. Nelson wasn't just doing his job; he genuinely cared, and he was without doubt one of the highlights of the entire experience. Incredibly organised, warm, and just so, so helpful.

The venue itself is beautiful, and we were blessed with amazing weather at the end of May. Having the rose garden just nearby added a nice touch that our guests absolutely loved. The feedback we've received from guests has been overwhelmingly positive.

The team was also very accommodating of our Chinese wedding traditions, which meant a great deal to us and our families.

The food was fantastic, it really well-executed and enjoyed by everyone. And from a logistics perspective, the venue worked well with all of our suppliers, which made the coordination behind the scenes so much smoother than we'd feared.

Thank you, Pembroke Lodge, and thank you Nelson. You made our wedding day everything we'd dreamed of.

Our wedding on 30th May

Thank you for absolutely everything. Your venue is just so special, the guests all commented on the beauty of it. We feel so lucky to have had such a beautiful day. Made even more beautiful by your whole team. Robert- a heartfelt thank you for everything on the day, for being so calm and relaxed about everything (even when I was panicking a little myself). Thank you all for your patience with us. You were all so responsive via emails, especially Robert and Nicola. You accommodated to our requests as best as you could, for example with the evening sweets table. The food was amazing. We wish we could live this day again! Thank you!

We got married on 24th May 2026 at PL and had an amazing day! The staff were so helpful throughout the planning process and on the day always putting us at ease with their professionalism. Everything went smoothly and our guests loved the entire day, the food, the service and of course the beautiful view and grounds!

The best venue!!

We held our wedding reception at Pembroke Lodge and it was everything we could have wanted and more! All the communication in the months building up to the day was incredible - the staff were all so responsive, easy to communicate with, and so helpful and informative! Every step of the way they made us feel so reassured that we had chosen the right venue! A huge special shout out to Nelson, our event administrator, who was incredible!! He took the time to explain everything to us and have check-in calls, to help advise us on what would work best when we didn’t have a clue, and made it so easy to work with him! On the day, he was there whenever we needed before we even knew that we did and made everything flow so perfectly which allowed us to not have to worry about anything! All of our guests could not stop raving on the day, and ever since, about how brilliant every staff member they encountered was! They have been nothing but complimentary about how they were left wanting for nothing and how delicious the food was! Thank you so much Pembroke Lodge!!

Our May 2026 wedding at Pembroke Lodge

Just a few days after our fairytale wedding at Pembroke Lodge and I still can’t stop smiling ☺️ It was the perfect venue - just stunning. We wanted something quintessentially English especially for my husband’s family coming from Italy and it fit the bill perfectly. As a local, it really was my dream wedding location. The staff are magnificent - a pleasure to work with in the run up to the big day. Our MOC, Sid, was superb on the day - always there to catch his eye if needed for something. The proceedings were flawless - a number of guests commented on how discreet all the staff were, and Sid managed this brilliantly. Food was great - a sentiment shared by all guests. Can’t recommend Pembroke enough for your wedding!

The best day of our lives

We got married at Pembroke Lodge at the end of April 2026 and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was lovely and so considerate. Our MC, Robert, was so helpful and made sure the day went smoothly. In general, we felt like the whole team had everything under control and we were able to just relax and enjoy this very special day. Additionally, the surroundings are just gorgeous and the place smelt super lovely because of all the flowers in bloom. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

Amazing location and amazing staff!

Thank you so much to everyone at Pembroke Lodge for helping to organise our wedding on 21 March 2026. A special thank you goes to Nicola for all the hard work she put in leading up to the event, and to Sid (and Kelvin!) on the day for being so calm, professional and reassuring. We had such a fantastic day in an incredible location and we could not recommend this venue highly enough.

Thank you so much for helping us plan such a wonderful day! Everyone was so responsive, lovely and easy to work with. Pembroke Lodge is absolutely beautiful and we had the most special day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was, and how much of it there was! Everything went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff completely took over on the day and made sure everything went according to plan. A special mention to the staff for how wonderfully they looked after my mum (mother of the bride). She was dealing with an ankle injury on the day and they were so supportive and attentive to everything she needed, which meant so much to us. Thank you so much to everyone at Pembroke Lodge, we couldn't have asked for more!

Best day of our lives!

Wow! Everything was perfect from the start of our planning journey to picking everything up the day after. Pembroke Lodge were so swift with responding and no question was too silly to answer. Nicola was so warm and caring in all of her responses and patiently supported anybody from the wedding group who called with a query. Nelson is absolutely phenomenal and the best organiser we have ever come across. On the day he was on top of every tiny detail and made the day a dream come true. All of our guests have said how incredible the day was and we just want to relive it again and again. We would both recommend Pembroke Lodge to anybody!
