Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park, is a wedding venue located in Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey. This historic Georgian mansion holds protected heritage status and sits at the peak of London's biggest Royal Park. It is also the only wedding venue situated within a London Royal Park and is home to around 650 deer. A tranquil setting, it feels a million miles from the bustle of the nearby city.
Facilities and Capacity
Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park is a Grade II listed Georgian Mansion and the front portico is adorned with classic Wisteria. The interior features high Georgian ceilings and a harmonious atmosphere that offers a calm vibe for your wedding celebrations. Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park offers two different venues. The Belvedere can comfortably host up to 140 guests for both ceremony and reception in a neutral light-filled space that lends itself to any style or colour scheme. A further 60 guests can be accommodated for the later festivities. Full-height windows lead straight out to The Belvedere Terrace, offering stunning west-facing views across The Thames Valley. The outdoor terrace has wedding licensing, perfect for ceremonies under the charming Oak Pergola. The Russell Suite holds a wedding license and perfectly accommodates up to 70 daytime guests or 100 evening guests. This elegant room boasts grand Georgian bay windows, soaring ceilings, and beautiful marble fireplaces. The Woodland Garden serves as The Russell Suite's private outdoor area and offers the option for outdoor wedding ceremonies under a specially designed Oak Gazebo. King Henry's Mound in the gardens has London's only view protected by law. The beautifully maintained grounds of Pembroke Lodge offer amazing photo opportunities all year round.

Truly Magical
Pembroke Lodge was everything we hoped for and more! The venue is absolutely stunning and even on a rainy October day it still looked amazing. The team are a dream to work with and so helpful. Everything ran so smoothly on the day and guests are still telling me it was the best food they've had at a wedding. It was a truly magical day!

Fabulous venue
The setting at Pembroke Lodge is simply stunning. We got married 10th October 2025 on a mild Autumnal day, trees were just turning, colours glorious. We had our ceremony outdoors with our reception in the Russell Suite, a beautiful Georgian room, the setting was perfect.
The day went smoothly, without a hitch. Nelson, Lucy and the Events Team worked brilliantly to achieve a wonderful and memorable day. The Wedding Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented. Great selection of wines too. Service was top notch.
The lead up to the event went like clockwork. With regular updates and an efficient spreadsheet to capture guest details , table plans, and menu chouce was genius! A very clever way to organise the event.
We truly were impressed. Nothing was too much trouble. What touched us most was the care and attention to my 89 year old Dad, we were ever so grateful.
I wouldn't hesitate recommending Pembroke Lodge. The Lodge and the Events Team are all truly remarkable.

Simply incredible
We are so so happy we chose Pembroke Lodge! From beginning to end we felt supported and happy with our choice - they made the day incredible and Nelson and all the staff were so amazing! Could not be more thankful to the whole team for making our whole day so special!!

Amazing From Beginning
My husband and I had our wedding day about a month ago and we chose Pembroke Lodge for our wedding reception.
We had started planning our wedding January of this year and got married in the middle of August, so 7 months of planning. From the beginning, Pembroke Lodge were very transparent about their pricing for hiring the venue, catering and drinks and our date being available which I thoroughly appreciated and wish more venues did. My husband and I are not the most creative people and have never planned an occasion as big as this so we appreciated having everything spelled out to us, especially with short time frame. We'd like the thank Alice, Nelson, Sid and all the staff who helped on our big day, we couldn't thank you enough for all the hard work you put in to ensure our wedding reception ran smoothly for us and our guests. Thank you, thank you thank you!

July 2025 wedding Belvedere suite Pembroke Lodge
We had our wedding at the Belvedere suite last month at Pembroke Lodge, and it was the most perfect day and amazing picturesque venue we could have ever wished for!
We planned our wedding in just 4 months! Nicola was amazing with all the correspondences with our wedding. Any questions we had Nicola was able to answer everything promptly, and was able to accommodate all my guests dietary needs. Being so prompt and professional helped us plan our wedding quickly and smoothly.
Also Nelson our event manager for our big day was amazing! He made sure everything went smoothly throughout the entire day from the start to end! We didn’t have to worry about a single thing as Nelson had everything all under control for us. The whole team that was present that day did a brilliant job, including all the waiters and waitresses, and a massive thank you to all the chefs behind the scenes. All our guests loved the food, everyone had full stomachs! We highly recommend the lamb shank for any meat eaters. The venue was able to cater for halal guests, meat eaters as well as my vegetarian guests.
Pembroke lodge is the most perfect venue to host your wedding as it has the most perfect view on the terrace of the Belvedere suite as well as having a large open room to have your reception. Having the option of removing the windows between the suite and terrace was great, gives you a mix of indoor and outdoor wedding vibes rolled in to one!
This wedding venue is a hidden gem in London. It’s perfect if you want a London location but still want to be surrounded in beautiful nature. The venue and all the staff at Pembroke lodge made this the most perfect venue for our wedding, a day that we will forever remember for the rest of our lives! The Belvedere suite and Pembroke lodge will hold a special space in our hearts for years to come.

I can 100% recommend Pembroke Lodge for any couple who are looking for a wedding venue in London.
We had our wedding at Pembroke Lodge last Saturday and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The venue truly is an oasis of nature in the heart of London – the beautiful gardens and stunning views created such a magical setting for our celebration.

A Truly Wonderful Wedding at Pembroke Lodge
Our wedding at Pembroke Lodge was everything we hoped for. The venue is beautiful, and guests are always pleasantly surprised to find such a special place in London.
We went very lean on our wedding party, and with much of our family travelling from abroad, the support from the team was invaluable. They made the day so much easier for us, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.
Nicola was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, and Nelson, our Master of Ceremony, was outstanding on the day. His warmth and professionalism made everything run smoothly and made the day feel truly special for us.
Our guests have been full of praise for how attentive and friendly the staff were. Even with the British weather, the team handled everything seamlessly.
We are so grateful to the entire Pembroke Lodge team and would highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-run wedding day.
