Jo, Harry and the Team were absolutely amazing on our wedding day I could not have asked for anything more. The professionalism, care and kindness that was shown to us and our guests from the beginning of the process and throughout was incredible. The food was divine - the atmosphere amazing - the location and grounds... STUNNING!

Nothing was too much for them and the prep, execution was incredible.

Dietary requirements for people are such a big thing, the chef took her time to go through all of the options to make sure that myself and the guests were able to have meals that matched those requirements that were still to a high quality and nothing felt like an after thought

From the moment we drove into the grounds and met Jo, we knew this venue was was where we were going to get married. From the initial meeting through to the day and after, Jo and the Leonardslee team helped us feel at ease, answered any questions (no matter how silly) we had and supported us throughout the whole journey. Our wedding day was easily the best day of our lives and choosing Leonardslee Wine Estate was a huge part of that.

We renewed our vows after 32 years happily married to celebrate a new phase of our lives. The Mannings Heath crew were excellent from start to finish and in the middle too. Very accommodating to our needs and our requirements for a bespoke day and evening which didn’t involve a disco! Food throughout was lovely from canopies to main dinner to evening platters of cheese, ham. On the day the team were very attentive to our needs.

The evening we used Jane’s events with Martin the Magician, a Casino night plus the obligatory photo mirror 😊. All well received by our guests and helped make the day extra special.

We used all the bedroom which are all very boutique and boujee and a lovely surprise to end the day.

A banquet breakfast the next morning helped complete a wonderful experience.

We could not recommend Leonardslee Wine Estate more as a wedding venue! Jo, Harry and Jo were an absolute dream to work with, and everything turned out even better than we expected. It was just great all around.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Leonardslee Wine Estate in August and we can’t speak highly enough of the entire experience.

The professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility of the team stood out. Jo, our Events Manager, was a joy to work with - efficient, calm, and incredibly organised. She helped guide us through every detail and was always quick to respond to any questions we had, making the whole planning process feel easy and enjoyable. Harry, the Front of House Manager, ensured everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. His attention to detail and calm presence helped us relax and enjoy every moment.

The ceremony setup was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning backdrop and thoughtful touches that made the setting feel so special. The food was exceptional, both in presentation and flavour - some of our guests commented that it was some of the best food they’d ever had at a wedding!

What really impressed us that the venue liaised directly with our suppliers, taking a huge weight off our shoulders. Everything from decorations to hair to music was coordinated seamlessly without us needing to manage the small details.

We also loved that we were able to accommodate all of our family onsite for two nights, making the whole event feel like a getaway! The rooms were comfortable and newly refurbished.

One of our favourite memories was taking our wedding photos in the vineyard - an incredibly picturesque setting that added a magical, romantic touch to the day, and we got to drive the golf carts!

From our first visit to Leonardslee Wine estate until we left the day after our wedding we can only say that the whole experience has been a pleasure. The process of creating our wedding service and reception experience was pain free. Jo Chellingworth, the events co-ordinator, was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She went above and beyond to make our day so special. The food received rave reviews from our guests, the location and views across the golf course were beautiful, and the accommodation equally impressive. We can highly recommend this venue, first class.

I cannot fault our experience at Mannings Heath. From the early booking and planning stages, to the logistics and tiny details, to the big day itself, the lovely people at this venue go ABOVE AND BEYOND.

Jo is absolutely lovely and so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and there was a perfect balance of advice and willingness to adjust to requests. Harry on the day was absolutely fantastic. Everything ran so smoothly and I felt so confident in him to ensure nothing would go wrong. Not a thing was out of place. All the waiting staff were fantastic. Proactively working out who needed what and where and with a friendly smile whilst doing so!

The food was absolutely fantastic. We had so many compliments from guests on the canapés and the wedding breakfast. Our friends and family with dietary requirements were very pleased with how good their food was too!

The rooms in the hotel and the cottage were lovely and we had a very comfortable and convenient stay.

The ride in the golf buggies for our bride and groom photos was a highlight! So much fun!

We highly recommend this venue to anyone. Absolutely could not fault it at all.

We could not have asked for more from the venue or the team. The management team were superb handling any problems which we created with skill and professionalism. However, it was the positive attitude of the more junior members of staff typified by the lady who was vacuuming up the confetti that was really impressive. When I apologised for the mess she cheerily replied that she loved to be part of such occasions and didn't mind at all. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff who maintained their smiles and positivity through to the midnight finish. I thoroughly recommend this beautiful location with a first class team that created a day we will always remember.

I had an amazing wedding at Leaonardslee Wine Estate. From start to finish the communication and professionalism was top notch. On the day, everything was taken care of, the team worked hard to make my vision come to life, and we had a truly magical day. I can't suggest this venue enough, it was perfect!

I would recommend Leonardslee wine estate/Mannings Heath golf club 1000000 times over.

We only wanted a small wedding of around 40 people and finding a venue who would accept a small wedding was a challenge in itself. Jo straight away said that was something they could help with, we arranged a visit and as soon as you arrive and see that stunning building I was just gobsmacked.
After sitting and chatting with Jo and having show round, I was sure it wasn’t something we would ever be able to afford, however, our quote was with us in an hour!
What fantastic value for money, so we booked our date and throughout the whole lead up to the wedding all communications with Jo and the team were seamless. Anything we wanted/needed, they were flexible and willing to do whatever.
Not once did I ever feel any worries.

Unfortunately, Jo was away for the weekend of our wedding but there was no drop in quality. Harry, Tyler, Jo (a different but just as lovely Jo) and all the team were just so absolutely wonderful!
I cannot put into words how easy they made our day and all the extra touches that didn’t go a miss!
Our content creators caught Harry fluffing my dress just as I was walking down the aisle 🤣 and Tyler rushing the length of the venue to fetch my gin when I was sat in the golf cart and I had left it on the terrace. Tyler also helped the groom and all the groomsmen with their button holes.

The food was absolutely divine, all served hot and fresh and prompt and of course the wine was gorgeous. We treated ourselves to 3 bottles before we left! Not forgetting the delicious breakfast!

We stayed in the cottage on the Friday and the cottage is gorgeous. I did have my two small children with me (1and 4) and it’s maybe not the best for small children but we made it work, I think I would book a hotel room if I had to do it again. On our wedding night and the night after, we stayed in a suite downstairs and what a gorgeous suite!!!!

Honestly I could write a full essay on our wonderful wedding and how lovely all the staff were. We fully intend on visiting as much as we can and husband has promised me a stay there on our anniversary each year! Your just all absolutely amazing ♥️♥️♥️

We first took a look here for our wedding following an amazing cheese and wine pairing evening! From the start it seemed a special place, and then we met Jo - who couldn’t have been more personable and amazing in every way. She told us she had an earlier space than we intended (as in gave us around 4 1/2 months instead of nearly a year and a half to plan!) - but wow was this a great decision! The whole event was amazing from start to finish. The only venue we looked at who really saw things from a personal point of view rather than being a wedding venue interested in more commercial things. All our personal thoughts and touches couldn’t be too much trouble. The whole place had a relaxed, family feel yet at the same time felt like a posh dream wedding venue. They even coloured our desserts pink for Valentine’s Day! I couldn’t recommend everything about Mannings Heath and Jo more for anyone who wants an affordable but dream feel wedding. Even loved the fact the staff got involved with our selfie pod - and the photos make me smile every time I look at them! The best place we looked at by far and loved every try thing about the end result. Thank you to everyone there!!!!

After sampling the food at a number of venues, we stumbled on Mannings Heath's Restaurant as the one we wanted to choose for our Wedding Breakfast. Mind you, it wasn't just the food. We discovered that they also have incredible staff and also had Deluxe Rooms and Suites (including a Bridal Suite), to rival other superb venues in the surrounding area.
The reason for our search was because we had decided to get married after having been together for the best part of twenty years, not least due to my having been diagnosed as being terminally ill. We wanted to "formalise" our love for each other, and so finding somewhere that could fit our requirements was crucial to us. In fact, it turned out to be SPECTACULARLY PERFECT!!
We got married at St. Marks in Staplefield on the 1st August 2024, and had chosen a very small number of people. Eight, including ourselves. Very close friends and two of my daughters. We wanted it small & Intimate.
We met the Sales & Events Manager and got treated to a Wine Sampling and we selected various different Starters, Mains & Desserts.
On the day, after the wedding we arrived at around 1:30 pm. We were welcomed by the very lovely Karen – The Duty Manager, and after photographs, taken by Karen, we went straight into The Wine Lounge – Our Choice.
The Bubbly (Champagne by any other name), served on arrival, was from the Leonardslee Vineyard and excellent.
Karen informed us that we were not allowed to feel pressurised in any way, and the Kitchen were ready to accommodate us if we wanted to take our time between courses. My Best Man made his speech and so did others and then it was my turn. Needless to say, the flexibility afforded by the Kitchen was very appreciated. We finally managed to finish our Wedding Breakfast around 5:30 pm.
We’d booked The Bridal Suite and that was superb and extremely comfortable.
We actually managed a late but light supper - which was also superb, as was breakfast the next morning. We were allowed a late check out and finally departed around 12:30.
We are very glad we chose Mannings Heath. It’s a superb location, the views over the attached Golf Club are stunning and for anyone looking for excellence, coupled with welcoming, friendly and helpful staff who cant do enough for you, look no further.
Mannings Heath & Leonardslee Gardens & Vineyard are both owned by Penny Streeter and its very obvious she knows exactly what she’s doing.

The venue was perfect for every aspect of our wedding. Ceremony inside, drinks on the terrace, wedding breakfast, party were all brilliant. Jo, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We had already booked another venue before we came to see Mannings heath - something didn’t feel right with the first place, and then when we met Jo we just knew we would feel comfortable and relaxed through the planning.

We found the whole process easy, and communication was brilliant. The venue was so so flexible and it really felt like they cared about our preferences and vision for the day.

The venue itself was just perfect. It felt so spacious with different rooms for the different parts of the day. The drinks reception on the terrace was a highlight and the views in the sun were just amazing. We got the most amazing photos in the vines. The bedrooms were beautiful and we feel lucky that we were some of the first to stay!

We really feel like we got absolute value for money. We knew we were never spending dozens of thousands on a wedding and worried we’d have to settle but we absolutely did not! The food was amazing and we have had so many messages since telling us so! This includes the breakfast which was delicious. The staff were lovely which was so important too.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We had our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Mannings Heath earlier this month. Jo was a joy to plan the day with, she was so helpful and made the planning feel like a treat. Harry ran our day and when we met with them both for the final time they made us feel like they were as delighted and excited as we were! They were eager for our quirky choices and deviations from a traditional day, and full of suggestions and knowledge about how to structure a great day.

The staff on the day were great- happy, friendly and proactive, and the food was phenomenal. The breakfast (we went with the Camembert, roast beef, and brownies) and evening food (a build-your-own fajita bar) were exceptionally good food and every guest including those with different dietary requirements absolutely loved what they had.

The venue had places for everything, and made stunning with the help of Forget Me Knots styling, and the grounds were a lovely place to roam for photos.
