If you're after wedding venue that is personal and stunning, Kingston Manor is the place to celebrate your special day. There isn't one fault to share about Kingston Manor and the lovely owners Juliet and Robert! The only fault is that we are not there every weekend! From day one of visiting we knew that the 'naked venue' was everything we had dreamt in terms of the setting but also the spaces, whilst also offering the opportunity to make it personal to us. Juliet and Robert were really flexible and listened to our dreams and proposals. The long weekend for our family at Kingston Manor felt like a holiday in the South of France. The house is the perfect space for two families to celebrate a whole weekend whilst also not being on top of each other. If you are after an intimate celebration whilst still having a great sized wedding (80- 120 people) Kingston manor is more than perfect! The blank canvas can really take any style, theme or creativity. Simple or extravagant.

From first day of looking right through to the big day itself and after kay and the tam where there for us no question too small,big, silly or simple truly amazing the staff were great venue was gorgeous kay was a superstar and stayed till evening when she knew everyone was happy the catered for our milk allergy child and my wheelchair user husband i cant stress enough how amazing our day went. The sit down meal was beautiful cooked to perfection even my fussy daughter cleared her plate. The hotel is so clean and tidy the welcoming is warm and cosy the room are big, warm, stunning and so was the view breakfast was lovely. We had various things there like the fun casino chocolate fountain candy table magic mirror photo booth the giant love sign magician and a band as well as the DJ that was in the package (he was very good) an there was plenty of room for all of them and the tables and guest. Well done ryde castle you did yourselves proud.

We held our reception at East Afton in September and the groom’s family stayed in the Farmhouse. It makes for a perfect rural wedding location whatever the weather (ours was wet!) - great set-up for a party with plenty of room for dining, dancing, a kitchen suitable for caterers, lots of nooks and crannies for people to explore. Chloe went out of her way to help us on the day, including ferrying people back and forth from the venue to the after party when taxis were scarce! Great venue for a large family gathering too - cosy Farmhouse feel with plenty of dining space and garden for kids to explore. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic day! I can't think of a single thing which could have been done better. From finally choosing Languard Manor, through to dealing with Mark and Daphne in the run up to the wedding, to the day itself, it was perfect in every way. Even the weather smiled on us. We did a lot of planning in the run up to the wedding itself and Mark and Daphne were extremely accommodating when it came to setting things up prior to the wedding, giving us a free run of the venue from the Wednesday prior to the wedding until the Monday after the wedding to decorate tables, set up the sweet trolley and all the other details which we wanted to get done in advance. Their advice on all aspects of the preparations, the sequence of events on the day and their management of the wedding itself could not have been better. They were very flexible when it came to menu's for the meal and in the end we asked for two courses which were not on the standard menu. We also had to cater for vegetarian, pescatarian and a vegan guests, and submitted special menu's for these guests which were produced without any problems. On the day, we started with drinks on the lawn until the bride and her entourage were ready, followed by the ceremony itself which was held on the lawn. This was followed by canapes and champagne on the lawn until we were called in for the meal. The service was excellent during the meal, with no one having to wait for their food, despite the different requirements of some of our guests. The quality of the food, its preparation and presentation was excellent, and we received many compliments from our guests after eating. Following the meal and the speeches we were encouraged to make the most of the weather outside, so that the staff could rearrange the dining room for the evening and the band and the DJ could set up. We had 150 guests for the evening do, with music until midnight. We supplied beer and wine, and those who wanted something else were catered for at the bar. Everyone who attended had a fantastic day. I cannot recommend Landguard Manor highly enough!

We planned a midweek reception at this beautiful venue and had the most amazing day, Everything was perfectly executed and on time, The whole event ran like clockwork, stunning location - oh and the tunnel walk to the cliff ledge, make sure that is included in your photos! Thank you for everything you did for us both and our guests........unforgettable!

What an amazing place! A stunning venue with Maggie and Rik as superb hosts. Our wedding day couldn't have been any better thanks to their warm welcome, hard work and hospitality. We honestly couldn't have thought to find somewhere so perfect. We'll be back on each anniversary and cannot recommend here highly enough. Thank you so much!
