We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding. From the planning right through to the day itself, everything was absolutely amazing. A huge thank you to Tracey, who was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she made everything so much easier in the lead-up to the wedding. And an extra special thank you to Rachel, who was incredible on the day. She kept everything running so smoothly, made sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing and, most importantly, kept me calm! 😂 Having her there made such a difference and meant we could just relax and enjoy our day. The room looked absolutely gorgeous and seeing everything come together was such a lovely moment. The whole day was honestly everything we could have hoped for and more, and we have so many amazing memories that we’ll treasure forever. Thank you so much to everyone at ESN for helping make our wedding day so special. We couldn’t recommend you enough! 🤍💍

Value for money on their room hire package was just so good, we booked a wedding lunch and drinks after for 30 people and the events team start to finish were so friendly, thoughtful and efficient. Their systems meant every detail was saved and managed so well, really was one of the best event teams I've worked with. The wait staff on the day couldn't do enough to help us and our loved ones, they really made the day with their kindness, dedication and huge smiles. Highly recommend!

otherwise this was pretty much a perfect winter wedding in a very scenic town. All thanks to Natalie and her team at The George In Rye who from day 1 of our planning were super efficient and helpful and who on the day were superbly organised and attentive to our needs. My mum did high end silver service waitressing for nearly 40 years and she was very impressed at everything she saw and all our thirty guests really enjoyed the day (beyond stuff people just say to the married couple) in large part due to the venue and staff.

We are so pleased that we chose The Bell for our wedding in September. It was the perfect venue for us, not only was it absolutely beautiful but the team at The Bell were fantastic and guided us through the whole process. Becky was great and supported us in the lead up to the wedding, and Jess and the team were all just fantastic on the day ensuring everything ran smoothly and we all felt very well looked after. We were able to relax and enjoy the whole experience with our guests knowing that everything was taken care of. The food on the day was excellent and we had a lot of happy wedding guests. Over all it was just great, thank you to the whole team at The Bell for making the experience so special for us! Laura & Dario

As soon as we saw this venue we knew it was the one and to hear it was in budget was just the icing on the cake! Mark, Russell & the team were absolutely accommodating and extremely helpful. They made our day just perfect and I'd recommend to anyone looking for the rustic barn feel wedding. Can't thank them enough.

Michelham priory is such a gorgeous spot for a wedding. We wanted something that was both classic and elegant, but also charming and laid back… a tricky balance! Michelham priory was exactly that. Chloe and Bryony at Blue Door were also so responsive from the very start of planning to the day itself. We can’t thank them enough. Flexibility was our only challenge (it’s a listed barn so certain instruments in the band aren’t allowed, and music has to be turned off before 11). We had an incredible day and it ran smoother than we could ever have expected. Thank you Michelham and thank you Chloe and Bryony! X

We took exclusive use of the outstanding Horsted Place for our wedding reception in June 2026. It turned out to be on the hottest June day ever! The staff were exceptional in both looking after our guests and helping them cope with the hot weather. Pre planning was very thorough and flexible. Food was excellent, good quality and well presented. Guests were very complimentary. With exclusive use we were able to spread out and take advantage of all the facilities, including outdoor areas. Particular praise for hotel Manager Adam, who not only led the team of committed, friendly and helpful staff, but was personally heavily involved. We had a truly memorable day at Horsted Place.
