The Signature Set-Up Day, your stress-free wedding
You won’t find this anywhere else. Our Signature Set-Up Day is pure wedding-eve bliss. Instead of a frantic morning of decorating, you get exclusive access from 3pm the day before (with our Indulgent Package*). Take your time placing every flower just so, practising that aisle walk, or simply sharing a chilled glass of fizz with your favourite people. Then wake up on your wedding day knowing everything is already perfect. Collect all your mementos the day after the wedding, following a farm-style full English breakfast.

Amazing venue & vibes - perfect day
Besides the stunning location, the value for money is really incredible. There are so many options for your day, and so much is included and already on site which makes planning a breeze.
Every wedding is able to look so different and be so personalized to your tastes which makes it even more special. We were also able to have our French bulldog be part of our day which was amazing.
We got married in the Buttery and had our reception on the patio. We then had our wedding breakfast & party in the Glasshouse. People were able to mingle in the pub and also stayed on site. We had a welcome dinner the might before which was such a great way to get everyone together.
It honestly was a dream come true. Emma and the team were also incredible and took a lot of the stress of the day off my shoulders.
Couldn't recommend it enough, I just wish I could relive the day over again!!!

Fantastic wedding venue and hotel!
We loved having our wedding day (and weekend) at The Bull Hotel. We decided to go with the weekend package. We arrived the Friday and had a lovely dinner with our closest family and friends and stayed until the Sunday morning, after a full fry up! We enjoyed the whole process, from coordinating everything in the lead up to the weekend itself - nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all lovely and very professional. We had our Wedding Breakfast in The Glasshouse which was simply gorgeous, modern but with rustic furnishings, you can add your own style as you wish. We kept ours very simple as its so stunning to look at! We then had our evening reception in the Buttery and was perfect for dancing the night away! We can't thank the team enough, the whole weekend was better than we could have imagined and we are so grateful for making our wedding day so magical!

A wonderful wedding on a very rainy day
We had our wedding on the first Saturday of June 2025 and had the full package. It was a magical day for us. Despite the heavy pouring rain during the speech at the dinner, all the staff members continued to bring our meal and made it an even more romantic memory for us. Catherine was our wedding coordinator and everything went smoothly throughout the preparation, reminding us to decide everything on time, and was easy to follow. The venue is absolutely beautiful and all our guests had a wonderful time.

Amazing venue and team!
We recently got married at the Buttery and Glasshouse and we had the most amazing day. From the months leading up to the wedding with all of the meticulous planning, Catherine worked with us to help our vision come to life and even helped us think of things that we hadn’t even considered. Catherine and her team worked very hard to pull the day off and ensured all of our guests were well looked after. The food was amazing and was well received from everyone. We filled the rooms for the night of the wedding and everyone enjoyed their stay, and equally the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend the venue and the team!

Everything we dreamed of
I instantly loved the venue and clicked with the coordinators and I knew this would be where we got married!
They were so accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfectly tailored package to us.
Every single member of staff throughout the whole day was brilliant and knew exactly what they were doing.
I felt at ease the whole time as I knew we were in safe hands with Emma and her team.
It was the happiest day of our lives!!!

We celebrated our wedding here in August this year. We had the most amazing experience. The venue was perfect. We were hoping for a sunny day to have the use of the whole outdoor area and for the glass house to be open fully. However we had wind and rain all day. Dispite which this didn't spoil the day as the team had it all sorted so we all still had the most amazing day. The food was out of this world and enjoyed by everyone. Plenty of drinks and the DJ was brilliant and
so accommodating to our different tastes. The buttery was perfect for our small wedding and we wanted somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere which we definitely got. The use of the rooms for the night made a huge difference for family travelling from.

Fabulous team & Dream wedding
Amazing wedding venue and planning. Emma and the team made our dream day go seamlessly and we thoroughly enjoyed every second. The food, the space, the customer service and the thoughtfulness / attention to detail in the lead up and on the day. We loved the fact we could stay the night before with our close friends and family to set up and it made the morning after really relaxing. We even took our young daughter to the park round the corner after breakfast before the morning preparations began! We had plenty of time the morning after the wedding to enjoy breakfast, check out and clear up the rest of our things. We were not rushed and so many guests commented how relaxed the day was. Thank you Emma and team!

Best day ever!
We had previously stayed at The Bull Hotel a few years ago and instantly fell in love with its relaxed and rustic feel. When it came to planning our wedding we knew that the Buttery and Glasshouse would be the perfect place for our big day! The venue is stunning, perfect for couples wishing to have their ceremony and celebrations all under one roof. The Buttery has an intimate feel with its beautiful beams, whilst the Glasshouse is contemporary, light and airy but the two just work exquisitely together. There are a selection of wedding packages on offer which cater for every need. From our initial enquiry right up to our wedding day itself, our co-ordinator Emma was amazing, she was on hand throughout the planning process. On the day itself Emma and the team ensured that everything ran seamlessly. We had a fantastic wedding day in April 2024; the venue looked amazing, the staff were very well organised, friendly and attentive, also the food was delicious! A big thank you to everyone for helping us to make our dream wedding a reality. Would highly recommend the Buttery and Glasshouse to anyone who is planning their wedding day.

Perfect and Exceptional
The venue was beautiful in a great location. From start to finish the day was seamless and everything pieced together perfectly. Emma and Chloe worked tirelessly all day to make our wedding day so much more than we could have ever have imagined or wished for. Emma was attentive, meticulous, professional, caring, down to earth and patient - nothing was too much for her and she made us feel welcome and relaxed. Having our wedding at the Glasshouse and Buttery was the best decision we could have made and the team did a phenomenal job in helping us make some very treasured memories.
