This elegant stately home invites couples and their loved ones to step into a bygone era, surrounded by lush gardens and stunning Georgian architecture that are sure to captivate. With the Grade II-listed Sir John Soane Manor House providing a magnificent backdrop, your wedding day will feel truly extraordinary. The dedicated team specializes in intimate celebrations, offering couples exclusive access to the manor and its exquisite grounds.

Every inch of this incredible venue is designed to achieve a wedding of extraordinary proportions. The verdant grounds, in particular, are as rich in eclectic eccentricity as it is in elegance. Your beautiful day at Ripple Court Estate begins in the spellbinding Rose Garden ceremony space. There, you can say 'I do' amidst lush, fragrant blooms. Wed at last, you can lead your guests along to the secret walled gardens, replete with Victorian glasshouses and the gardener's gin shed. There's an idyllic setting near the enchanted wood for dining with up to 120 guests. You can expect to find endless backdrops for photos, leaving you with an album to swoon over year after year. With your booking, you'll also gain use of a newlyweds' suite in the home and a three-bedroom cottage, known as Maison Blanche, for overnight stays.

An absolutely beautiful venue, with a friendly and professional team
Ripple Court Estate was the first wedding venue we visited, and truly nowhere else came close (which we kind of suspected might be the case), so we booked it! From the beautiful and varied grounds (Secret-Garden-esque hidden corners, and tunnels of apple and pear trees, alongside expanses of lawn) to the perfectly thought-out and appointed spaces across the venue, Ripple Court has so much to offer and enjoy, and our guests could not stop talking about how amazing it is!
From our first visit, until we arrived for the wedding, Peter and Fran made the whole lead up to and planning of our wedding fun and easy! They were communicative, thoughtful, flexible, full of great ideas for how to make the most of the time and space, and always made us feel special and looked after.
The same was true across the wedding weekend. Fran and Mica ensured everything was taken care of, kept us updated and consulted without making anything feel stressful, and took great care of our guests, too – in particular my Mum and 10-month-old daughter. We had several children at the wedding, and many guests mentioned how great Mica was with them all. It really made such a difference.
Having exclusive use of the venue for the full three days meant we could really make the most of the space, and of spending time with our friends and family. From a barbeque on the Friday to a brunch on the Sunday, nothing felt rushed, and we were able to luxuriate in the joy and love across the weekend.
The bridal suite and getting ready spaces are incredibly well thought out. Plenty of space for morning celebrations, for errant family members to sit and have a cup of tea (or something stronger!) and not get in the way, and for multiple dresses, shoes, make up bags, and whatever else you might want around you when you’re getting ready.
Having the cottage on site, too, meant my parents and daughter were right there, but we could still have space and the luxury of a couple of nights baby-free!
The food from caterers, Gatherers, was delicious and plentiful. Guests remarked on it being the best wedding food they’d ever had and, indeed, some even said it topped the nicest restaurant meals they’d had, too. From canapes focused on flavour and quality ingredients, to huge sharing platters of flavourful food, we were bowled over by the quality.
I could go on and on, but honestly it is hard to sum up just what a special place Ripple Court is in words. If you have the chance, go and see it, and if it’s free, book it! You won’t regret it!
Perfect wedding venue
Peter and Fran not only run the most exquisite wedding venue, but are the kindest and most attentive people you could meet.
What we loved most about this venue was the adventure it offers through the day. Leading our guests through the many pockets of beauty created an adventure for everyone to experience. From the walled rose garden, to the jaw dropping Georgian Manor House and finishing in the stunning walled gardens. Every moment being greeted by wonderfully helpful and friendly staff who consistently ensured we had everything we needed.
Ripple Court really is the perfect place to get married. It’s more than just a venue, it’s an experience you will never forget. We will forever treasure the time we shared here alongside two absolutely fabulous hosts. Thank you Peter and Fran for making our wedding day perfect.
