Hall Place has special place in our hearts as it is local, but this is much more than just a wedding venue as it’s a historical house with beautifully maintained gardens, fantastic staff and just incredible backdrops. The hole day for a February wedding went perfectly and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. There are also a lot of hotels nearby for your guests - highly recommend! The price I put down is inclusive of all food and venue hire

The Dairy was such a unique and stunning venue, the perfect place for our guests to explore. It really is a hidden gem and all our guests commented how special it was. The jetty by the lake was a particular highlight. The grounds are simply stunning with so many photo opportunities. The events team could not have been more lovely. Would highly recommend!

Very professional, helpful and friendly service before, during and after the event. We got so many compliments from guests on the choice of venue, the food, the staff. Our day went perfectly thanks to great planning beforehand and management on the day. A wonderful setting for our special day that we would highly recommend, especially as we love the river.

Michelham priory is such a gorgeous spot for a wedding. We wanted something that was both classic and elegant, but also charming and laid back… a tricky balance! Michelham priory was exactly that. Chloe and Bryony at Blue Door were also so responsive from the very start of planning to the day itself. We can’t thank them enough. Flexibility was our only challenge (it’s a listed barn so certain instruments in the band aren’t allowed, and music has to be turned off before 11). We had an incredible day and it ran smoother than we could ever have expected. Thank you Michelham and thank you Chloe and Bryony! X

Our wedding ceremony at The Chamber was everything we hoped for – intimate, welcoming, and stress-free. Emma and the team were fantastic from start to finish, especially in making us feel so comfortable. We were a large group for the space (40 people, at max capacity), yet everyone fit in beautifully without feeling crowded. With several little ones present, Emma and the team went above and beyond to include them in the preparations and the day itself, which meant so much to us. The room was set up beautifully – with chair covers, a champagne table, and even a floral arch – a collection of thoughtful touches that made the day feel truly special. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting, and would choose The Chamber in a heartbeat if we could do it all over again.

A big thank you to your staff for making our wedding our best day ever, everything was perfect from Liz grand entrance on the steps to our stunning photographs throughout the Guildhall and Abbey Gardens.

What a fantastic day! I can't think of a single thing which could have been done better. From finally choosing Languard Manor, through to dealing with Mark and Daphne in the run up to the wedding, to the day itself, it was perfect in every way. Even the weather smiled on us. We did a lot of planning in the run up to the wedding itself and Mark and Daphne were extremely accommodating when it came to setting things up prior to the wedding, giving us a free run of the venue from the Wednesday prior to the wedding until the Monday after the wedding to decorate tables, set up the sweet trolley and all the other details which we wanted to get done in advance. Their advice on all aspects of the preparations, the sequence of events on the day and their management of the wedding itself could not have been better. They were very flexible when it came to menu's for the meal and in the end we asked for two courses which were not on the standard menu. We also had to cater for vegetarian, pescatarian and a vegan guests, and submitted special menu's for these guests which were produced without any problems. On the day, we started with drinks on the lawn until the bride and her entourage were ready, followed by the ceremony itself which was held on the lawn. This was followed by canapes and champagne on the lawn until we were called in for the meal. The service was excellent during the meal, with no one having to wait for their food, despite the different requirements of some of our guests. The quality of the food, its preparation and presentation was excellent, and we received many compliments from our guests after eating. Following the meal and the speeches we were encouraged to make the most of the weather outside, so that the staff could rearrange the dining room for the evening and the band and the DJ could set up. We had 150 guests for the evening do, with music until midnight. We supplied beer and wine, and those who wanted something else were catered for at the bar. Everyone who attended had a fantastic day. I cannot recommend Landguard Manor highly enough!

We planned our wedding last-minute, and it was a beautiful day and beautiful event thanks to Glenmore House and their staff. From viewings to arranging the whole day, we had an amazing experience. They were very flexible in how they managed the whole event, and they offered discounts we didn’t know we were eligible for. Erything was seamless, and I would love thank them once again for making our special day perfect

This was the perfect venue for our wedding - our guests were so impressed with it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone searching for a venue. Kinga was amazing in helping with the planning and responding to all our queries, and Lesley was fantastic on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly! Huge thanks to the team at Orleans House Gallery for being a part of our big day.

If you are thinking of choosing this venue you won’t regret it. We had our wedding here 3 weeks ago and it was perfect! We had a lovely meal in front of the fireplace the evening before with guests who stayed the night before. We were able to set up some of our own wedding DIY that night, with a lockable room to keep all of the boxes ready to take back after the wedding. The staff were really helpful in the set up and organising where everything could go. We booked a family room where we could get ready next door to each other with an adjoining door, which was brilliant for hair and makeup artists to switch between each rooms. The little barn was gorgeous for the ceremony, we had Gilt edge style the wedding and it was absolutely perfect taking the stress off designing the decor. She knows the venue so well, that it is just a breeze for her, no request was too much. The conservatory was stunning and such a great space for the breakfast and evening, with the bar close it keeps all your guests in the atmosphere meaning the dance floor was never empty! Julieanne our wedding co-ordinator was brilliant in keeping us on track and making sure everything was perfectly in place for the big day. Shelley and the other hotel staff made everything run smoothly on the day, asking about the little details and ensuring flowers/signs/decor were moved and in place wherever it needed to go at different parts of the day. The venue offers a toastmaster and a resident DJ who were absolutely brilliant, they attended to everything we had asked for and were great fun! The grounds and the rooms where we stayed were beautiful - we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was stress free and the staff were on hand to help with anything we needed. All our guests complimented how good the food and how beautiful the venue was, the service provided was brilliant. Everything was set up exactly when it was planned and nothing was stressful on the day. A really professional and fantastic hotel to host weddings.
