Henry Moore Studios & Gardens offers you the unique opportunity to exchange your vows surrounded by some of the most stunning tapestries and sculptures by renowned artist, Henry Moore. Whether you’re planning an extravagant celebration or a more intimate event, we can accommodate weddings of many sizes and styles.
The venue is nestled within 72 acres of charming grounds in Perry Green, providing a stunning Hertfordshire countryside backdrop whilst only being an hour away from the buzz of central London.
The 16th-century timbered barn offers a rustic, yet elegant, setting for your wedding and is licensed to hold civil ceremonies with up to 120 guests. The surrounding lawns provide the perfect space to set up a tipi or marquee. If you choose to hold your reception somewhere else, we offer a ceremony-only option. For a smaller wedding ceremony or reception we can offer two contemporary spaces in our new visitor centre, with panoramic views over the sculpture gardens.
The most impressive feature of the venue is the sculpture gardens featuring some of Henry Moore's iconic work. These provide a stunning backdrop for your cherished wedding photos.

Our Perfect Wedding
We feel so very lucky to have found Henry Moore as a venue. It's such a beautiful and special place, full of natural, architectural and artistic beauty. Jules, Clare and the team there went out of their way from beginning to end to give us our dream wedding - helping us with all the planning and giving us the benefit of their deep experience. Because they do only a certain amount of weddings every year, we felt absolutely special to them as opposed to being in some wedding factory...Sent on 07/09/2021
A side benefit was that there are loads of wonderful small local suppliers (caterers, cake, flowers, etc) in the vicinity - all used to working at this beautiful historic location - and all at prices that pale compared to London. We had guests from all over the world and everyone just raved about the setting and the sophistication of the event. Just the perfect venue!

Incredible Venue and Wedding Day :)
Jules, Sarah and the rest of the team are absolutely fantastic. Despite getting married in the middle of a pandemic, we had the most amazing day ever. The whole team went above and beyond to support my husband and I through the difficult time and ensure our day went smoothly and perfectly.
Everyone is so friendly and my guests had a lovely day in glorious weather!
The venue is spectacular and I would highly recommend a viewing as you will just fall in love with it and Be confident that you are in good hands with Jules, Sarah and the team.
Having read some other reviews I agree with the comments; the attention to detail that we received on the day (and the build up) was fab; from being counter down the aisle and reassured at all moments and I never felt pressured or at any point that any question was silly.
All our love to Jules and Team

Henry Moore Studios & Gardens's reply:Amelia & Marc, it was so emotional and wonderful to be part of your journey and your special day. The tenterhooks we were on on the lead up to the big day; would we be able to go ahead or not, was a journey we shared with you and in the end we felt like we were guests at your wedding as the excitement was so palpable when we got the go ahead just two weeks beforehand. A very special day indeed, looking forward to seeing you back soon. x

Can't recommend enough
What a brilliant venue to celebrate a wedding. Henry Moore Studios & Gardens offer an incredible setting that can be easily dressed and adapted to suit the style of your wedding.
Jules and her staff were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating, not just during the planning stages and the day of our wedding, but they got stuck in the day before to help us dress the barn and outside areas to our liking - we had a lot of handmade elements to decorate the space (sorry, Jules!) but nothing was too much trouble for them.
We are big fans of Henry Moore's work, so being able to get so close to his sculptures for our photos was brilliant.
It is the perfect venue for a perfect day.Sent on 18/08/2020
