From the first phone call to enquire about a viewing, we were met with enthusiasm and kindness and every time we called or visited after we were treated with the same compassion, with everyone using our names and speaking to us as if they knew us personally. Needless to say, after our first viewing we didn't even look at any other venues! All queries were met with helpful responses and nothing was ever too much trouble, even some slightly odd or out of the ordinary requests. The communication throughout the build-up was outstanding, the visits and meetings all met with huge excitement for us as a couple and for our wedding. The venue began to feel 'like home' and we enjoyed every trip and visit. From tours with our respective parties, to the menu tasting and Apple Shed viewing, then dropping off items a few days before the big day, all just added to the experience.

On the day, what can I say, it ran seamlessly and with what I assume, were no hiccups! If there were any, we were not made aware of any and had the most perfect, magical day! From the moment myself and the bridesmaids arrived, everything went to plan, it was tranquil and calm. Housekeeping came when they said and delivered the extra bits I requested straight away. They were also accommodating when we popped round with the gift bags etc to distribute to rooms before the guests arrived. Helen arrived was the perfect event manager, keeping us up to date and informed of all the day's proceedings and letting us know the running of the day and where we needed to be and when. And again, met us, with the same air of enthusiasm and kindness we have grown to love from South Farm.

Our guests have all fed back to us how amazing the venue was from the setting to the food and how it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! The photos we have from friends and family are stunning and I cannot wait until we see the professional ones.

We can't quite find enough complimentary words for you all and to express how much we enjoyed our day! And we will recommend you to anyone and everyone as it really was the most perfect day, and that is not just because of the stunning venue and delicious food etc It hugely comes down to the team and how they interact with couples and the services provided.

From the very beginning, the South Farm team were incredibly attentive, helpful, friendly, professional and flexible - we felt supported throughout. Wedding planning didn't feel stressful with them there for us. On the day, Hayley and the team were wonderful - we felt so relaxed, calm, and in control thanks to them and didn't have to worry about anything. They worked so hard to make it the perfect day for us and the guests, and yet we barely saw any of it. True professionals.
The venue itself is a dream: the house and the barns are beautiful and make for stunning backdrops for a wonderful wedding. The gardens are out of this world: so beautiful and you really feel like you are in your own little special world for the day.
The accommodation is excellent: luxurious, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for the best day.
The food is brilliant: local, fresh, sustainable, and delicious. All hats off to the chefs and kitchen team. All our guests said that it's the best wedding food they have ever had. And the wines and drink selection is great.

We could not have asked for a better venue to host our wedding than South Farm. It was the perfect countryside farm location for our big day. Every single part of the venue is absolutely stunning and beautifully maintained, with so much character and lots of extra little touches like fairy lights which make the rooms look even prettier. Every location across the venue is guaranteed to look gorgeous no matter the season, and their ecofriendly approach to weddings makes South Farm even more outstanding.
The South Farm team are so helpful, super organised and responsive when we had any questions about the planning process. They provided us with lots of useful recommendations throughout the whole process to help us bring our wedding vision to life, helping with everything from proof-reading our invitations to checking with guests about allergies. During our planning meeting and on the big day, our event manager Nikki was an absolute rockstar! She was so much fun to have around and kept everything running like clockwork.
All of the food was incredible; a lot of it is grown on site and you can taste how fresh the ingredients are. We are also in awe of the fact that the catering team managed to cater for so many different dietary requirements without anyone having to miss out! Everyone said the food was amazing and there were definitely no hungry guests. The breakfast the day after was delicious as well and the onsite accommodation is beautifully decorated, super clean and really comfy too.
Every member of staff was so friendly and thoughtful throughout the entire day from the moment we arrived until we left after breakfast the next morning. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that we had the best time possible, down to the smallest details, like moving our memorial table outside so it was near our ceremony area and saving extra canapes for my husband and I so we didn’t miss out while taking photos. So many of our guests commented on how lovely the all the staff were and how everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy working there and were happy to talk to our family and friends. It’s clear how hard everyone works; how much they all care about South Farm and about their couples having a fantastic time.
And we couldn’t leave a South Farm review without mentioning the BABY PIGLETS!!! They are soooo adorable and we were lucky enough to be able to say hello to them! So many of our guests enjoyed walking around the venue and meeting the chickens and baby goats and donkeys and the piggies, especially the kids and the grandparents!
We have had so many family members and friends tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to, from the venue spaces to the food to the staff and the accommodation. They are still talking about it 2 months on! It really is a one-of-a-kind venue with the most phenomenal team of people. We could not have had a more spectacular, joyful, wonderful wedding day and we can only say thank you to the whole team at South Farm for giving us the most magical wedding ever – it was all we could have hoped for and so much more and will forever hold a place in our hearts as one of the best days of our lives!

South Farm were absolutely incredible. The venue is so stunning and such a fun place for guests with all of the animals about. The help in planning the big day was fantastic and ensured that nothing was missed, we would have forgotten so many details without the guidance from the South Farm staff. On the day of the wedding, the staff are so unbelievably professional and guide you through everything that's happening and make sure to give you as the couple moments alone to enjoy the day together.
And the biggest bonus of all, the new Apple Shed for the bridal party to get ready in. It is gorgeous and relieves any stress of having to travel the morning of the wedding. Getting ready in there was such a dream and made the morning so special.

A truly amazing venue for the most perfect wedding!! We could not have been happier with our wedding day last week. Everything was perfect from all of the spaces and grounds to the food and service! We first visited south farm 4+ years ago when we first got engaged and have been in love with the venue ever since!! We would like to thank everyone at South Farm for being amazing, with a special thank you to Helen, our coordinator. Helen ensured that the day ran smoothly and everything was perfect for us and our guests! We were due to get married in the summer house but due to the rain were unable to, Helen was so helpful in explaining how to day would now run as we would be getting married in the old dairy and also came up with multiple options regarding the group photos and confetti walk depending on the weather after the ceremony. Over all we wouldn’t change a thing and will recommend south farm to everyone so that we can visit this amazing venue again!

From our first viewing at South Farm, we were just blown away by how beautiful it was, the whole place is maintained to a high standard, even the animals are all kept beautifully and make the whole place feel full of life while also giving that tranquil countryside feel. We were always welcomed with warmth and smiles from all the staff who are generally happy to see you. They clearly love the work that they do too which makes a huge impact on service and experience. We were never made to feel like any of our requests were not reasonable and the staff were so attentive, responded quickly to any questions we had and always went above and beyond to accommodate us.

We decided to stay the night of our tasting evening in the very comfortable onsite accommodation so that we could get more of a feel for being there. The food is 10/10 and the English breakfast in the morning was also fantastic, complemented by South Farm's very own fresh apple and orange juices. An eco-conscious venue and they use a lot of their own produce grown onsite, everything is so fresh and delicious.

Our wedding day, what a day! All the planning we had done together up to the morning of our wedding was executed perfectly on the day by Nikki, our event manager and the rest of the team at South Farm, there are no words to explain how special we felt. They were all so attentive to my husband and I, our bridal party, our family and our guests, throughout the duration of our day. The day flowed seamlessly and the SF team made it feel effortless. It was truly magical and we just felt overwhelmed with love. We were so relaxed as we knew it was all taken care of.

There was so much delicious food to choose from and flexibility on how you would like it served. One of the non-negotiables for us was delicious food and to say that SF delivered is an understatement! The portions were extremely generous, and all our guests commented on how fantastic the food was, even the suppliers that we provided meals for were blown away by the options they were served.

If you want the most magical day at a stunning modern eco-friendly farmhouse venue and are deciding whether to choose South Farm, my advice would be book it quick before you lose your preferred date! We are extremely grateful to Nikki and all the staff at South Farm; we could not have imagined a better day and will cherish the memories that were made here forever.

My husband and I recently got married at South Farm and we had the most amazing experience.

The venue is gorgeous and even on a drizzly day in January it looked stunning.

Prior to choosing South Farm we had looked at quite a few other venues but we just didn’t feel that instant connection - South Farm was different and as soon as we’d viewed it we knew it was the one!

Nikki, our event manager, was amazing on the lead up to the wedding and on the day and nothing felt rushed. Any questions we had were answered straight away, she was always there when we needed her and she made us feel at ease.

The food was incredible and all our of guests complimented it (we had the hot buffet).

We bought a lot of our own decor but the venue comes with lots of lovely plants, fairy lights and little touches which mean you don’t have to worry about getting a huge amount of decor.

Accommodation was great, very clean and comfy and the campers / wagon bathrooms were the best we had seen for campers!!

DJ Gary bought so much energy to the dance floor and played banger after banger.

We had a tasty full English the day after the wedding as well. It was my mums birthday and without us asking, they bought out a little brownie with a candle in which was lovely and shows how much thought goes into any decision.

We would highly recommend South Farm and we really hope we can return as wedding guests in the future!

South Farm were very professional, friendly and welcoming with us from the get go. We were treated warmly by the staff at all times, and they all knew what they were doing. We appreciated they always had good advice for us when planning the wedding, but never forced us to do things a certain way. They were very flexible when we talked about what we wanted for the wedding, and suggested what rooms we could use, and what could be done in between to make sure everything worked out well timing wise.

A special shout out goes to their kitchen staff who make some of the best food we have ever eaten. The hog roast buffet was incredible and there was lots of choice in what food we could have served. Every member of staff was very polite and went out of their way to make our lives easier, especially our event manager for the day, Evie, who was delightful to work with.

Only one thing to note when planning, they are not able to set up any decorations on the morning before our church service so we did have to find some friends to do it at short notice.

While planning with them, replies to emails always came fast, we never felt like we had to chase about anything. The accommodation was very nice and clean, and felt reasonably priced. In addition the clearing down was taken care of by night staff so we didn't have to do any of it. Everything was arranged out for us in the morning with flowers still on tables for breakfast! It was something very special.
