My husband and I recently got married at South Farm and we had the most amazing experience.

The venue is gorgeous and even on a drizzly day in January it looked stunning.

Prior to choosing South Farm we had looked at quite a few other venues but we just didn’t feel that instant connection - South Farm was different and as soon as we’d viewed it we knew it was the one!

Nikki, our event manager, was amazing on the lead up to the wedding and on the day and nothing felt rushed. Any questions we had were answered straight away, she was always there when we needed her and she made us feel at ease.

The food was incredible and all our of guests complimented it (we had the hot buffet).

We bought a lot of our own decor but the venue comes with lots of lovely plants, fairy lights and little touches which mean you don’t have to worry about getting a huge amount of decor.

Accommodation was great, very clean and comfy and the campers / wagon bathrooms were the best we had seen for campers!!

DJ Gary bought so much energy to the dance floor and played banger after banger.

We had a tasty full English the day after the wedding as well. It was my mums birthday and without us asking, they bought out a little brownie with a candle in which was lovely and shows how much thought goes into any decision.

We would highly recommend South Farm and we really hope we can return as wedding guests in the future!

South Farm were very professional, friendly and welcoming with us from the get go. We were treated warmly by the staff at all times, and they all knew what they were doing. We appreciated they always had good advice for us when planning the wedding, but never forced us to do things a certain way. They were very flexible when we talked about what we wanted for the wedding, and suggested what rooms we could use, and what could be done in between to make sure everything worked out well timing wise.

A special shout out goes to their kitchen staff who make some of the best food we have ever eaten. The hog roast buffet was incredible and there was lots of choice in what food we could have served. Every member of staff was very polite and went out of their way to make our lives easier, especially our event manager for the day, Evie, who was delightful to work with.

Only one thing to note when planning, they are not able to set up any decorations on the morning before our church service so we did have to find some friends to do it at short notice.

While planning with them, replies to emails always came fast, we never felt like we had to chase about anything. The accommodation was very nice and clean, and felt reasonably priced. In addition the clearing down was taken care of by night staff so we didn't have to do any of it. Everything was arranged out for us in the morning with flowers still on tables for breakfast! It was something very special.

South Farm gave us everything we could have wanted for our wedding day. We had shopped around to try and make the day of our dreams happen but were immediately impressed by South Farm's extremely transparent prices and packages. We went for a package that suited us and were amazed. The team are super communicative, always happy to help and answer questions and were really flexible, allowing us to DIY a lot of our wedding. Shame you only get to do it once, we would want another day at South Farm again in a heartbeat!

I first come across south farm online and fell in love with the venue . Myself & my husband booked a viewing and it was everything we had wished for and more!! The friendly staff and animals around the venue were the cherry on top of the cake. We decided to look at more venues as south farm was the first one we looked at and we kept coming away with south farm at the top. We booked a second viewing with family members and they all fell in love with the venue like us, we knew it was the one! We then attended the food tasting evening which we were both looking forward to as we are big foodies and wow what an excellent night, the food was amazing. We had lots of comments from guests after the wedding saying how fantastic the food was and it was the best wedding food they have had! The staff were fantastic and listened to everything we needed & wanted, I couldn’t fault a thing! I wish we could redo the day again from start to finish.

We got married at South Farm on the 14th of November 2025 and had the most perfect day.

I saw South Farm online in 2024 but we did not get a chance to visit until the beginning of April this year. From the moment my husband and I looked around, we fell in love and snapped up a date that same weekend.
The team at South Farm have been incredible throughout our journey. Evie showed us around and helped us plan our day. Emily kept in contact over email and made sure everything was on track and Helen was our on the day event manager. The entire team was super helpful in ensuring we had the perfect wedding day.
Our wedding day ended up having the worst weather and we needed to make lots of last moment changes as a result. South Farm had already written a wet-weather alternative, but I think the sheer amount of rain was a shock to everyone. Helen worked with me to make sure we could still do everything which was important to me, such as our confetti toss. The staff also made sure I was completely covered by umbrellas when moving from the coach house suite to the Tudor barn for our ceremony.

Our day turned out perfect and we were completely accommodated for. I have mobility issues and the staff made sure I was able to get everthing I needed and they worked with the registrars to ensure we could sit in the ceremony if I needed to. Additionally, Helen made sure to check in with us periodically to make sure we were happy and she was able to get us anything we needed or wanted.

The food for both the wedding breakfast and the evening reception was heavenly. We opted for a 2 course hot buffet and there was more than enough food for everyone. Many of our guests went up for seconds and we received many compliments on the food. I was desperate to have beef for one of our main options, which was not on the hot buffet menu, but the team sorted this for us for a small surcharge. I am so glad this was able to happen.

Finally, we had a large Connie and Colin the Caterpillar cake. I had made a veil and tophat for them but during transport from our house to the venue, they were misplaced. I was willing to go without them, but Helen, not wanting to disappoint, made sure we had a veil and top hat for our cakes. The staff sewed a napkin using chicken wire and they printed a top hat and added them to the cakes. They checked we were happy before we showed our guests and I honestly think they turned out better than my own. Helen and the staff went so above and beyond.

We are so happy with how our day turned out and are so glad we picked South Farm. Our family and friends adored it and all of our guests who stayed in accommodation loved their rooms. The full english (served by Claire) was just what everyone wanted in the morning. The staff also cleared up our decorations overnight, making packing in the morning super smooth!

South Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding day! Our autumn wedding was made so special with the ceremony in the Old Diary feeling magical and cosy with all of the beautiful beams and lights, and the Old Tudor Barn is just the perfect space for the rest of the celebrations, especially with the dancefloor space. All of our guests have shared how much they enjoyed the food, with it being something different the fusion feast went down so well! There is nothing we would change about the day, even though it rained (all day!), being at South Farm made no difference!
Last shout out to the amazing staff at South Farm, particularly Evie! They couldnt do enough for us and we felt so well looked after in the lead up and on the day - they do such a brilliant job to make the day feel so unique to each couple - thank you SF!

We had the best day ever at our wedding at South Farm in October 2025. South Farm was the only venue we visited and we instantly fell in love at our show round. The venue stunning and so well kept from the bedrooms and the indoor spaces to the beautiful grounds, and offered everything we were looking for for our big day. The team shared our priorities for a relaxed day with great food - the food was amazing at the menu tasting and on the day itself! South Farm is a well oiled machine and everything leading up to and on the day ran so smoothly from the room turnovers to meal service. Everyone was always so friendly, helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We had so many compliments on how fantastic South Farm was as a venue and honestly we wouldn't have changed a thing about the day! You will not regret booking South Farm!

We got married at South Farm in June and it was just the best day of our lives! South Farm was the perfect venue, and we knew that from our first visit.
Everything was brilliant, the venue is beautiful and the team are just amazing. South Farm have got weddings down to a fine art, from the quick turn around of rooms, food and drink choices, ceremony options, waiting staff, planning staff, gardening team, kitchen team - South Farm made it an absolute dream.

The weather was perfect - we had a few people asking where abouts in the South of France our wedding was, because the grounds were gorgeous! We loved every second and I really couldn't imagine our wedding anywhere else.

We had the most incredible day, and received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the staff.. it was honestly the most perfect and magical day! The photos in the grounds look beautiful, the food and service was impeccable and the dance floor/evening was incredible. The staff are so helpful in planning and on the day (shout out to Evie for being amazing for our day!) - the tasting evening is also the best meal I’ve ever had! Would absolutely recommend South Farm and wish we could do it all over again!

South Farm is such a stunning venue, it's quirky and like no other.

From the animals to the outdoor ceremony and rustic rooms (including gypsy caravans) it really does stand out from the rest.

Our guests all commented on what a lovely venue it was, we would highly recommend to anyone.

We can’t thank South Farm enough for their time, dedication and commitment to making our day every bit as perfect as we wanted it to be.

The whole venue is stunning from top to bottom and no request, query or change is too much. The entire team consistently go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Having put in a request very early on when we booked our wedding date, we were thrilled to have Nikki as our event manager for the day. She kept everyone calm and relaxed and made sure the day ran to schedule, even when we hit a few timing bumps along the way!

You truly couldn’t ask for more from a wedding venue. We had a lot of questions about same-sex weddings and how we would manage certain parts, and everyone at the venue had ideas and opinions to chip in and help us figure out how the more ‘traditional’ things may be done (or not!), and we were so grateful for every additional bit of advice and insight as there isn’t a lot to go on otherwise!

Even on the windiest of days, South Farm is simply beautiful, with stunning views and beautiful gardens, as well as ample indoor space to keep everyone warm. We genuinely had the best day and would do it all over again if we could!

South Farm is more than just a wedding venue; it is an experience. From the first visit to the very end of the day, the team’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our wedding unforgettable. We visited several wedding venues, but South Farm immediately felt special. From the moment we arrived, it was welcoming, organised, and full of charm, without ever feeling rushed or pressured. The staff made us feel at home straight away, and I was even able to come back with my mum to show her around. It really felt like a place that genuinely cared about its couples.

Planning & Communication:
The planning process was completely stress-free thanks to the team’s clear and prompt communication. They were always happy to answer questions, offer advice, and help with anything we needed. Everything felt transparent from start to finish, which gave us confidence that our day would run smoothly.

Food & Catering:
The food at South Farm is absolutely incredible. The tasting session was so much fun, and every dish we tried was delicious. The staff were warm, friendly, and positive throughout. On the day, we went for the BBQ buffet, and it exceeded all expectations. Guests are still talking about how tasty it was.

On the Day Experience:
Our wedding day ran perfectly thanks to the amazing team. Evie, our coordinator, was exceptional. She was professional, organised, and friendly, and so many guests commented on how fantastic she was. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which meant we could truly enjoy the day.

Myself and my partner got married here at the start of the month, when we first came to the venue we knew straight away that it was the venue we would want to get married in. It is beautiful with amazing gardens which are colourful, beautiful and immaculate.

The wedding planning was made alot more easier with all the help and links supplied by South Farm the support from the team was amazing and would always be very helpful.

The day itsself was the most perfect, day that anyone could ask for the staff were lovely and all the guests had nothing but good remarks and words to say about how amazing the staff were. The food was to die for, it was by the far the best food I have ever had at a wedding and I am glad it was my own. Everyone also complemented the food all day, including the evening buffet. The staff really look after you as a couple throughout the whole process of the wedding and make sure you have the most beautiful and amazing day ever.

Our guests had the most incredible day and they could not fault South farm whatsoever. Myself and my partner could not recommend enough South Farm, if you want the perfect wedding then I strongly recommend here.

We don't have enough words to express how wonderful our wedding day was at South Farm. From the moment we first saw the venue to the morning we packed up and left after the wedding, the team looked after us so well and made the whole event feel so smooth and stress free. The staff are all so kind and friendly and thoughtful.

The venue itself is utterly beautiful with so many little pockets to explore for photos or guests and children. The food was fantastic and the service seamless. And we had incredible feedback from our guests, who felt the same.

From the moment we walked through South Farm’s doors on our first tour, to planning, to our special day itself, we were made to feel like we were the only couple getting married. The attention and care we were shown from the very outset was second to none.

Our wedding was a little different to the usual, and South Farm lived up to their motto - distinctly different. South Farm went above and beyond to help our vision come to life and it was more than we could ever have dreamed of.

We cannot thank everyone at South Farm enough, particularly our event manager Nikki Fox who literally felt like part of our family celebrating with us on the day. We were so looked after.

Everyone was so complimentary of the venue, its charm and beauty - exactly what we had fallen in love with - as well as the atmosphere and how relaxed the day was, which was exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble.

South Farm is not just a wedding venue, it’s an experience. One we will cherish for the rest of our lives and we cannot be more thankful to everyone at South Farm.
