We cannot recommend Glen Clova Hotel highly enough!! From our very first conversation, the hotel team were absolutely fantastic. Their experience, calm professionalism and genuine warmth gave us complete confidence right from the start. They took the time to really listen to what kind of wedding we wanted and then delivered it perfectly. The planning process was completely stress‑free and incredibly well organised. Everything ran so smoothly, and on the day itself we didn’t have to worry about a thing — the hotel staff took care of every detail seamlessly, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy our day. The location deserves a special mention. Set in the stunning Angus Glens, the surroundings are simply breath-taking. Having the beautiful, quaint village kirk right on the hotel’s doorstep for our ceremony was an added gem and made the whole experience even more special. Thank you to the entire team, Mhairi, Luke and Fiona, for creating such an unforgettable day for us. Our wedding exceeded all expectations and we will treasure the memories forever.

From the moment we met Rebecca and Wayne, we knew this was our venue. Of course, the setting itself is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside, fields, and animals, with breathtaking views across Loch Lomond - but what truly made Fruin Farm stand out was Rebecca and Wayne. From our very first meeting, they were warm, kind, relaxed, and genuinely interested in helping us create the wedding we wanted. There was never any pressure, and they were refreshingly transparent about costs and what was included. After visiting several venues where every little detail seemed to come with an additional charge, it was such a relief to meet people who were upfront, honest, and clear from the start. During what can be an overwhelming and stressful process, their approach immediately put us at ease. From that point onwards, their communication was great. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly, and they were incredibly supportive throughout the planning process. As the wedding approached, they helped coordinate the final details and made everything feel manageable and organised. On the wedding day itself, we were completely blown away. Rebecca and Wayne worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for both us and our guests was evident in every aspect of the day. They guided us through each stage, adapted effortlessly whenever plans changed, and helped coordinate special touches - including incorporating our piper into the cake-cutting - making everything feel smooth and natural. The food deserves a special mention. It was simply outstanding. We genuinely don't think we heard a single negative comment from any guest. In fact, several people told us it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. The food was restaurant quality, beautifully presented, and served incredibly efficiently. Every order was correct, and the standard exceeded all of our expectations. The service throughout the evening was equally impressive. The team looked after our guests brilliantly, and small gestures demonstrated the level of care that sets Fruin Farm apart. For example, when some of our allocated wine wasn't used during dinner, Rebecca and Wayne simply added the value to the bar tab so guests could enjoy other drinks instead. That level of flexibility, honesty, and thoughtfulness is something we hadn't experienced at larger venues, and it perfectly reflects the integrity with which they run their business. At the end of the night, all of our decorations, personal belongings, and keepsakes had been carefully packed away and organised for us to collect. Everything was treated with such care. We were also touched by the personalised card from Rebecca and Wayne, congratulating us and sharing a little piece of wedding advice. It was a lovely gesture and one of many examples of the personal touches that make Fruin Farm so special. Looking back, our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more. Rebecca and Wayne's kindness, attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine love for what they do shine through in every interaction. They don't just provide a wedding venue - they create an experience that makes couples and their families feel genuinely cared for. We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than Branxholme Castle Barns. From the moment we first got in touch, Carol and Brian were absolutely incredible. Their communication throughout the entire planning process was second to none. Every email and question was answered so quickly, nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always there with advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed it. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made everything feel so easy and helped us feel completely at ease from start to finish. On the day itself, Carol and Brian went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for every couple is something really special, and it’s clear they love what they do. We felt so well looked after, which meant we could relax and enjoy every single moment of our day. The venue is simply breathtaking. Every corner is beautiful, from the stunning barns to the surrounding grounds, and it created the most incredible backdrop for our wedding. We have lost count of how many compliments we’ve received from our guests about how amazing the venue was. So many people told us it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they had ever visited. If you’re looking for a venue that offers not only a stunning setting but also exceptional service, outstanding communication, and hosts who genuinely care about making your day perfect, then look no further than Branxholme Castle Barns.

I cannot thank Hamish, Helena and the team enough for the most phenomenal venue and service. Hamish accommodated all of my wild whims, including flipping the usual set up on its head and putting the dancing at the other end (I think I managed to convert him to the convenience of it!). The venue itself is stunning, with its lanterns and drapes hanging from the ceiling, exposed brick walls, fairy lights, industrial beams and rolling doors and rustic hand made tables. A DIY venue setting that doesn’t need much at all because it’s so gorgeous. Hamish answered all of my queries and guest whims on WhatsApp very quickly and was so accommodating to bar stock requests. This place is an absolute hidden gem in near central Dundee. If you want rolling hills and loads of greenery, forestry walks or Glen Coe as your backdrop, this place isn’t for you. But if you want rustic, industrial, quirky, unique, fab service, a fun backdrop, a pool table and talking points all at an incredibly reasonable price (some venues we looked at wanted 16k and we still had to hire furniture), then The Weaving Shed is the place for you. So many guests commented how awesome it was. Massive thanks to Hamish and the team for an absolutely wonderful day/night💖❤️ 5⭐️

Can’t recommend Pratis barns enough! From the minute we booked for a viewing to the very end of our wedding weekend we honestly loved it! The staff, the food, the house, the venue, the prop room, the views, the bar and the list goes on were all absolutely ideal! Especially our coordinator Kelly who was the best person we could have asked for, happy to answer any question and be with us on the day to make sure every single detail was perfect for us! Our family and friends have all been so complimentary over such a lovely venue and it made our day so perfect! The build up was so well organised and structured but our favourite part of the plans was definitely the feast- 10/10 for all the food! Honestly such a brilliant venue happy to be so flexible and accommodating, we can’t thank them enough!!

We had our wedding ceremony at Forgandenny Church, followed by an amazing reception at Rossie on the Earn. It is a really special venue and we knew as soon as we had visited that is was exactly what we were looking for. We had family travelling from all over the UK and overseas, and the location was ideal for us. The three main spaces really give you the flexibility to make it your own. This is so much more than a DIY venue - the furniture, lighting, equipment etc that is all included make this a stylish space before you've even added your own decor, meaning you can add as little or as much as you want. The versatile spaces meant that we had plenty of space for guests to mingle inside on a blustery Scottish spring day, and the cosy atmosphere in the old byre with the log fire was magical. Having the farmhouse next door was so convenient for setup, getting ready and for family members with small children. The Rossie team were fantastic and Scott made sure that everything ran smoothly during setup and on the day. (We had amazing food provided by Wild Rover Food, coffee from Roam Coffee, flowers by Cordon Farm Flowers, Drams Ceilidh band and our photos were by Sara Jane Ferguson Photography)

Highly recommend Bachilton Barn! Not only is it a beautiful venue but they're also lovely people to work with. It's a lovely blank canvas to start with and actually comes with more included than other barn venues we looked at that cost twice as much! Our guests were all in love with our venue and how we were able to personalise it. Location wise it also worked perfectly for us as a convenient midway point for friends and family from across Scotland and further afield since it is near where many main roads meet. From the moment we viewed the Byre, until checking out the day after our wedding, we were blown away with how attentive and professional Jake, James and the team were. There aren't enough words for me to express how amazing the venue and the team are. They were an absolute dream to work with, and kept wedding planning as stress free as possible. Right up to the morning of the wedding when Jake even managed to make the rain stop for us to be able to get married outside! I can't recommend this venue enough. They helped us have the best day of my our lives!

From the very first moment of planning, we knew we were in good hands. Hannah was incredibly supportive, guiding us through each step and making sure everything went off without a hitch. Every detail, big and small, was carefully thought out, and we felt fully taken care of from start to finish. Hannah was always there to answer my silly questions and made me feel at ease. The venue itself was a dream come true. The accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything we could ever need. Everyone staying here LOVED our weekend together. It was perfect to relax by the hot tub, swim in the loch and had plenty of storage for all the food and drinks! We loved the garden space and being surrounded by the hills. It was so serene and picturesque everywhere you looked! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding weekend. We truly had the most amazing wedding and we can’t thank the team enough for making everything perfect.
