Although the day itself was incredible, so was the 12 month build up! It sounds cliche but as soon as we set foot in Healey Barn we knew it was for us. The staff and co-ordinators are fantastic, responsive, professional, but also relaxed. We attended a few times prior to the wedding day - always made to feel welcome and heard. Our person of contact predominantly was Jack R - an absolute credit to the venue and to Cripps & Co. The day exceeded expectations by far and our guests have given us such incredible feedback about the venue and the way it was ran. We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is thinking about this venue. Thank you all so much. Nathan & Holly. x

From the moment we viewed the venue we knew it was the perfect setting for our wedding - needless to say we didn't look any further! A compact and intimate venue in the most beautiful location. The whole process was seamless from securing the booking to the final details before our big day. The staff were efficient and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. They maintained professionalism throughout the entire process. Jess took the stress out of the whole planning experience - sourcing suppliers, providing invaluable advice and reassurance and keeping everything on track. We never felt under pressure at any point in the process. On the Friday all the ladies gathered in The Stables (main accommodation) for drinks and nibbles - plenty of space for indoor entertaining. On the day of our wedding Jess and the team worked, almost inconspicuously, to ensure everything went to plan and without a hitch. We didn't worry about anything. On the Sunday we entertained approx 30 guests. The terrace was just perfect and the sun shone down - such an idyllic setting with stunning scenery. Brinkburn certainly met all of our expectations.

My husband and I got married at Runa Farm on 30th October this year and our day was everything we dreamed of and more. From the very beginning Runa farm staff were attentive, professional and friendly. They were informative when they needed to be but not in our face and they answered any questions we had in the lead up to the wedding quickly and clearly. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we seen it and had an idea in our heads of what it would all be like on the day. Runa Farm made sure it was exactly as we wanted with ease. The day ran smoothly from start to finish with a fast flowing wedding breakfast, and a brilliant MOC. All the food was amazing, the drinks were delicious and the venue is effortlessly beautiful. All the staff from the bar staff, wedding co-ordinators, servers etc were so professional and on point. We literally cannot complain about anything. Nothing was too big or too small for them. For example, at the meeting the night before the wedding with the wedding co-ordinator Amy, she asked us what drink we would like waiting for us just after the ceremony on the mezzanine and my husband asked for a Guinness. Amy mentioned they no longer have any Guinness on site and he remarked “ah that’s a shame” before requesting something else. The next day on the mezzanine was a pint of Guinness waiting for him and it was supplied throughout the rest of the day. We have no idea how or when they got it but we were so impressed. It was that sort of small attention to details that just made the day perfect and what sets Runa Farm apart. I would highly recommend the venue to anyone considering it. It really is perfect and you won’t regret it.

It’s hard to know where to start to put into words how grateful we are that we picked the Willows as our venue. From our first viewing, we just fell in love with the venue. From the amazing decor to the fantastic staff, everything was just unbelievable. So much so that we booked without even viewing another venue as this was the first we looked at! You can tell how much thought has gone into the venue, the decor is fantastic in its own right so you can choose to do as much or as little as you like! The food was unreal! One of the best meals we’ve ever had! Nothing was too much trouble for the team, they were always on hand to support and talk us through each step of the way, putting us at ease and cheering us on! I can’t thank the team enough for how special they made our day, everyone was so lovely and made us feel like we were in the company of friends. Thank you Team Willows!

We booked the Parlour at Blagdon for our August 2025 wedding and would definitely recommend it! The venue is lovely, with rustic style buildings and a courtyard in the middle. The bridal suite in the cottage has recently been renovated, it’s beautiful with a large dressing room attached to it. The staff were very organised at every stage of the process. The food tasted great and the portions were generous. Their variety of wedding packages offers flexibility and there are budget friendly options available. We would recommend The Parlour at Blagdon. 5 stars.

On the 9th December 2024, we had our elopement style wedding at The Blackton Grange Estate. The venue is absolutely stunning, nestled in the most gorgeous countryside surroundings and it absolutely ticked all of our requirements for our big day. The venue is a "dry hire", self-catering, dog friendly venue, which was absolutely perfect for us! We had been looking for a wedding venue for quite some time, as we had a few requirements that we wouldn't compromise on. Our dog was the ring bearer, so it had to be a dog friendly venue (tick!). One of our party members required a downstairs disabled friendly bedroom (tick!), and we wanted a private and intimate location, set in the countryside (tick, tick and tick!). The property is vast and fully catered for all of our needs. There were 14 of us staying at the property for 2 x nights and we didn't feel like we were in each others way at all, there were plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for us to choose from. We made full use of the games room and cinema room and our guests felt really cosy once we had lit the log burner in the living room. Jodi & Stella had decorated the living area with a Christmas tree & decorations. They also set out the furniture for our ceremony the following day, moving all of the sofas to the sides of the room and providing wooden chairs for our guests to sit on. Our ceremony was absolutely amazing on the day, Jodi & Stella arrived to meet with the registrars and to ensure we had everything we needed. Following the ceremony they put the living room back together, whilst we were having our family photos taken outside, so it was an absolutely seamless change over for us. They could not have done enough for us, making sure everything had gone to plan. Communication in the lead up to our wedding was fantastic, Jodi and Stella were very accommodating of our requests, so easy to talk to, we felt like we had known them for years! We used Coghlans catering, who are based locally (and recommended by the venue), to provide us with our meals for the 2 days. This included a meal on the Sunday when we arrived, and everything for the full wedding day. We brought our own drinks and snacks (but there is always an option to get Tesco delivery service delivered to the Estate for your stay). We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding, the house and grounds are absolutely amazing, sadly the weather wasn't the best on our arrival and it had just rained for 48 hours solid beforehand, but on the actual day the sun shined brightly and the photos are amazing. There is a converted barn for bigger wedding parties which we obviously didn't require for our small elopement, but Stella & Jodi very kindly showed us around it and it looks absolutely stunning!! The venue is an absolute credit to the hard work that these two ladies have put into it, long may it continue to be a wedding venue and thank you for letting us be the first couple to tie the knot at Blackton Grange.
