Branxholme Castle is a picturesque wedding venue just outside of the market town Hawick, in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The property offers a remarkable blend of elegance, history, and natural beauty. Current owners Carol and Brian have meticulously updated this estate to create a lovely family home and venue.
Facilities and Capacity
This 14th-century castle will provide an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding. Start your day with your loved ones in a relaxing getting ready suite. Imagine you ceremony within our charming newly renovated "Coach House" which is situated in our beatyful courtyard and directly acress from Branxholme barns which will host your wedding dinner and evening reception. Explore the grounds to capture the perfect shots as newlyweds. This venue can accommodate 90 day guests and an additional 40 evening guests.
Before and after your celebrations, you can enjoy your stay and tuck into the castle's charming bed and breakfast and holiday cottages. Our package includes a two night stay for yourselve and guests, sleeping up to 20 people

From the moment we met Carol we knew we were in great hands. She was professional yet friendly from our first initial meeting to the big day itself. The venue was the perfect place for our intimate ceremony and we couldn't fault a thing. A beautiful setting in the Scottish Borders.

By the time I was about to walk down the aisle, the radiators were heating up again and the show was well and truly back on the road! I honestly don’t know how they did it, but they did and it was magical.
The venue itself was absolutely spectacular, and Carol went above and beyond, taking care of so much from recommendations for catering to even sourcing a hairdresser to do my hair. Despite everything that was thrown at them, Carol and Brian made sure our day was perfect.
It was a truly special experience that we and all our guests will cherish forever. ❤️
