From our very first enquiry we felt very well supported and valued. We felt like we were the only wedding you were dealing with - such personal service. Any questions we asked we didn't feel stupid and allowed us to be in control of the whole day.

The seamlessness of everything on the day was the most impressive thing - everything happened per the timetable already discussed. Our table decorations and settings were laid out perfectly. Everyone received the meals they were expecting with no issue. Finally the whole team looked happy to be there on the day and were a very helpful and calming influence.

We wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for running our wedding so beautifully on Saturday night. We knew from the moment we met Olivia and saw the Tythe Barn that Priston Mill was the venue for us, and we were not disappointed in any way. The Christmas tree especially surpassed our expectations!!! Our guests have all raved about the food and beautiful layout of the venue. I think they greatly appreciated the bar as well (the bride certainly did anyway). Both of our parents have remarked how easy everything has been. We still can’t believe we just dropped everything off and you made it look so spectacular. Thanks for going the extra mile with our new guest book too. In a nutshell we loved our wedding and wouldn’t change a single thing!
Five stars for the food

We would like to highlight that we had numerous guests comment on the quality of the food and the high quality of service from Paul, our Event Manager on the day. I've not attended a wedding before where both of these aspects were noted. Our guests felt as if we had pulled out all of the stops and this is a reflection of the work the team put in on the day.

Genuinely one of the most breath taking and beautiful wedding venues ever. From the moment my husband and I walked in, it was an immediate yes from us. From the vaulted ceiling and balcony to the bar and cosy lounge with fire, genuinely stunning. Staff were incredible on the day, could not have asked for more. 5*!!!

Wow - what else can I say. We had the best day and you made all our guests feel special. So many compliments all round about the food which was just perfect. Would recommend 100%. Day was so smooth and stress free and the Watermill was the perfect setting.
Complete denial of complaints

Parts of our day were perfect. The venue looked great & the staff worked so hard. Unfortunately, we had numerous problems before, during & after the wedding. There were errors on the paperwork, some of our things (inc 4 bottles of champagne) went missing, & more worryingly, money was stolen from a lockup.
I spoke to a manager to find out what investigation had been carried out about the money & where our stuff was. All I wanted was for someone to apologise that we'd had a bad experience & reassure me they'd look into it. But I didn't get any of that.
Instead, the manager called me & was very sarcastic & dismissive. Everytime I tried to talk, he interrupted me until he eventually went silent & said: "I hope that pause was long enough as I wouldn't want to be accused of interrupting you". I have never been spoken to so badly in a professional context, nor have I been accused of lying.
I am so shocked that such a popular venue doesn't have a more professional way of dealing with complaints. I've worked in customer service & the first thing you learn is that you listen, treat with respect, never lose your rag & try to deal with the problem (after investigating). Instead I got a blanket denial of any responsibility, no apology & a threat of legal action if I posted online about it. I wasn’t blaming them for a minute. But a theft occurred on their premises and it should be taken seriously.
It’s such a shame because if the customer service had been better I would be wholeheartedly recommending this place. And I still do to an extent. Just be wise to the fact that they won’t help you if something goes wrong.
Our Perfect Day!

We got married on the 18/08 and had the best day ever! Laura, our wedding co-ordinator was absolutely perfect from start to finish. They provided a quick response to my copious amounts of emails and questions and nothing was too much trouble. On the day Laura made sure everything went perfectly and even helped fan my dress so all the bridesmaids could walk down the aisle without any gaps - There was nothing she wouldn't do to help. The caters Priston Mill use are amazing and our food was perfect. I would recommend Priston Mill for anybody getting married, but particularly the watermill if you have a wedding with sub 100 guests. It is quaint but very personable and unique. For us, it was the perfect day - Thank you Priston Mill xXx

I know Priston Mill is busy with weddings throughout the year but they made the day personal to us, just as we wanted it. The food was wonderful and the venue perfect. Thank you!

Let me start by saying, just book it. You will not be disappointed. We had the most fantastic day and couldn't have asked for more. They blew every other venue we have seen/been to and am so glad we chose to spend our special day at the tythe barn. The photographs do not do the venue justice for just how beautiful it is. All of our guests were amazed with it! The staff were all lovely and our wedding co-ordinator Laura did a fantastic job of bringing our vision into life! She was very attentive throughout the day and ensured that everything ran smoothly. It was just perfect! You will not be disappointed!

Our big day ran so smoothly. We had guests with dietary requirements who really appreciated the attentiveness of the the staff. Our family also noticed what a great job they did at being calmly efficient. We enjoyed every second!
