Dodmoor House is an award-winning wedding venue located in Weedon Beck, Northamptonshire, England. This spectacular property features grade II listed event barns and a rustic courtyard set upon four acres of lush grounds. As a family-owned-and-operated establishment, the venue offers exceptional service and personalised packages for the perfect wedding.
Facilities and Capacity
Dodmoor House has many beautiful spaces suitable for hosting all aspects of your wedding day. The Courtyard Barn is charmingly romantic for ceremonies. Its exposed wooden rafters and brick accented walls can be decorated with fairy lights and candles to create an inviting aesthetic. The barn can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people in a theatre-style layout. Afterwards, your guests will enjoy a relaxed drinks reception in the courtyard while you take advantage of the gorgeous backdrops for photos. Complimentary garden games can be played on the large lawn while loved ones mix and mingle. The warm and inviting Catsby Barn provides the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. This area features high ceilings, wooden beams, oak flooring, and an eye-catching Juliet balcony that hides a delightful mezzanine bar. 96 guests can be seated for dinner, with room for 180 attendees for your evening party. This venue also includes a stunning get-ready space for you and your wedding party. The Dodford Room comes complete with a make-up station, large mirrors, and comfy chairs. It is also directly connected to the Honeymoon Suite, which features a four-poster bed, comfortable seating, and an en-suite bathroom.

Dodmoor House aims to assist you in creating the occasion of your dreams. Rental of the venue includes a complimentary overnight stay with breakfast for two in the Honeymoon Suite, access to the Dodford Room, a selection of decor items, tables and chairs, and glassware. Attractive and competitively priced drinks packages are also available. The events team can provide a comprehensive list of recommended suppliers to choose from for your convenience. However, you are also welcome to source your own catering and additional vendors to ensure that your vision is achieved.

The most PERFECT day
The attention to detail and family feel you get is nothing short of amazing. Every single time we emailed or had any sort of worry, someone at Dodmoor was always there to get back to me. Their communication is genuinely perfect and the way in which the team communicates internally is something which we believe other venues lack. You genuinely feel like you are the only wedding the team is planning for!
One of the other amazing things about Dodmoor House is they let your wedding day be YOUR wedding day. Whether you want Caribbean food or your dog in attendance or a ferris wheel on their grounds you can do it! They really want you to have the most amazing day and that can be as unique as you want it! I also love that there is the option to stay in their Bridal Suite on the night of your wedding, it is a special touch and it is very special to wake up there the next morning (with the team serving you a delicious breakfast!). We had so many compliments from our guests saying how our magical/stunning the venue was and how attentive Dodmoor’s team were.
Kara, our wedding coordinator, thank you thank you thank you. You are the most organised, efficient and all round amazing human! You knew one of us struggled to let someone else take control/see out our vision but nothing was ever too much. Our entire day was perfect from start to finish. You do not even notice all what goes on in the background but I knew whatever the worry, Kara would have it covered in seconds!
We could genuinely go on forever about how excellent the venue and team are. There isn’t a single thing I could fault about our day or our entire wedding planning experience with Dodmoor House. So if you are thinking about visiting or booking Dodmoor House, DO IT! You definitely won’t regret it!
Thank you so much again, we are gutted it is all over and wish we could re-wind time to do it again! But I am sure we will be back for anniversaries!!
Incredible Service and Attention to detail
On the day itself it was hands down the best service we could of asked for, majority of our guests have also said this, speed of serving drinks, the flow of the day felt effortless down to their planning and experience. The barns are beautiful and leaves you to create your own style with flowers or decoration. You can also hire items which mays or super easy and affordable. Would 100% recommend.
The best day of our lives
There’s also no corkage in the day which helped us a lot, plenty of parking & hotels very nearby for your guests. The honeymoon suite is lovely too and we had a beautiful breakfast the next day. Every little detail was carefully put together so our vision became a reality. We are so grateful and glad to have had our wedding at Dodmoor House!
It’s so worth a view if you’re not sure, we knew right away that we loved it!

The whole process was incredibly enjoyable; from the multiple visits with family, to the planning meeting, the constant barrage of questions and plans (from us) and the eventual big day. The team couldn’t have done more to go out of their way to make our day perfect for us. Even on a November day!
We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better day. Special thanks has to go to Shona for managing all of the planning. She made the day so relaxing it genuinely didn’t feel like we were the ones getting married!

The whole day was so seamless and perfectly coordinated that we genuinely didn’t have to worry about a single thing — we were able to completely relax and enjoy every magical moment.
The team at Dodmoor House are incredible. Every member of staff was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our day unforgettable - which it was. A very special mention must go to Shona, who was nothing short of phenomenal. She was calm, organised, and completely in control at every stage. Shona knew exactly what needed to happen and when, ensuring the entire day flowed effortlessly. Her expertise, reassurance, and attention to detail meant everything was perfect — we literally didn’t have to think about a thing. Shona was there throughout letting us know what was happening next and where we needed to be.
Our wedding day was more incredible than we ever imagined, and that is entirely thanks to the outstanding team at Dodmoor House. We wouldn’t hesitate to choose Dodmoor House again and again, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to any couple looking for a truly exceptional wedding venue. Meet the team
They converted the barns from scratch in 2006, as they wanted to create a stylish and flexible venue, where couples can have the wedding day of their dreams.
Ever since, they have put their heart and soul into making Dodmoor an award-winning venue.
Carolyn is the longest serving member of staff, starting part time at the age of just 16 (when Dodmoor first opened!) and she has coordinated weddings here for more than a decade, she has many great stories to tell.
Carolyn even got married here herself in July 2017.
Her cheerful smile lights up the office!
Shona is a wedding coordinator and the operations guru who makes sure everything works in the venue!
She had her own wonderful wedding here at Dodmoor in September 2019.
It was one of the sunniest September days we've ever seen!
There was Mexican food and a saxophonist. A great mix for a wedding day, if you ask us.
