Dodmoor House is an award-winning wedding venue located in Weedon Beck, Northamptonshire, England. This spectacular property features grade II listed event barns and a rustic courtyard set upon four acres of lush grounds. As a family-owned-and-operated establishment, the venue offers exceptional service and personalised packages for the perfect wedding.
Facilities and Capacity
Dodmoor House has many beautiful spaces suitable for hosting all aspects of your wedding day. The Courtyard Barn is charmingly romantic for ceremonies. Its exposed wooden rafters and brick accented walls can be decorated with fairy lights and candles to create an inviting aesthetic. The barn can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people in a theatre-style layout.
Afterwards, your guests will enjoy a relaxed drinks reception in the courtyard while you take advantage of the gorgeous backdrops for photos. Complimentary garden games can be played on the large lawn while loved ones mix and mingle.
The warm and inviting Catesby Barn provides the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. This area features high ceilings, wooden beams, oak flooring, and an eye-catching Juliet balcony that hides a delightful mezzanine bar. 100 guests can be seated for dinner, with room for 180 attendees for your evening party.
This venue also includes two stunning get-ready space for you and your wedding party. The Farmhouse Suite comes complete with a make-up station, large mirrors, kitchenette and bathroom- ideal for bridal prep. The Dodford Room is a seperate barn that is also directly connected to the Honeymoon Suite. The Dodford Room consists of comfy chairs- a central hub before the ceremony. The Honeymoon Suite features a four-poster bed, comfortable seating, and an en-suite bathroom.

Dodmoor House aims to assist you in creating the occasion of your dreams. Rental of the venue includes a complimentary overnight stay with breakfast for two in the Honeymoon Suite, access to the Dodford Room and Farmhouse Suite, a selection of decor items, tables and chairs, and glassware. Attractive and competitively priced drinks packages are also available. The events team can provide a comprehensive list of recommended suppliers to choose from for your convenience. However, you are also welcome to source your own catering and additional vendors to ensure that your vision is achieved.

Our dreamy, fairytale wedding venue!
The venue itself is stunning and we were so lucky to have booked our wedding for just after the makeovers were all complete so we had gorgeous spaces to get ready, a fresh bedroom and bathroom and a revamped bar!
On the day itself we had a long morning of makeovers and had a wonderful time getting ready in the gorgeous Dodford Room and new Farmhouse Suite. We had everything we needed and it felt so special to get ready in such a beautiful space. My favourite part was sitting having my makeup done looking out of the Farmhouse Suite window, down the driveway on a sunny spring morning.
The venue suited our wedding size and our tastes perfectly - we had about 50 guests in total. The sun was shining all day and it just made the venue feel so special and homely, we just loved every second!! The courtyard is the perfect location for mingling, drinks and nibbles… and we’d definitely recommend booking a magician for the drinks reception!
Chloe was our wedding coordinator and we enjoyed every second of wedding planning with her! She listened to every idea and made sure everything we wanted was possible. On the day Chloe was like a superhero, she made sure everything ran smoothly and anything we needed she was there to help. Everyone from Dodmoor who worked on the day were so helpful and friendly, it made such a difference and guests have relayed how impressed they were with everything. Down to the smallest detail, like printing our speeches for us and even fixing Ben’s glasses on the day itself, Chloe was amazing!
The next morning we had the most delicious breakfast spread set up in the Dodford Room (this actually made me cry when it was delivered haha) and the team made sure we had everything safely packed up and taken to the bar before we left.
We felt confident and relaxed from the very start, we trusted Chloe and the Dodmoor team and they delivered on everything! They really looked after us and made us feel so special, so thank you!
We would recommend Dodmoor House to anyone!

Good value for money and excellent service, staff are very accommodating and so lovely, they answered every question we had and our guests had nothing but nice things to say about them too. All we had to worry about on the day was having a great time with our friends and family while they took care of everything and made sure it went to plan.

The most perfect day!
From our very first visit, we fell in love with how beautifully decorated the venue was and how tucked away and intimate it felt. We knew we wanted a relaxed, informal wedding, and Dodmoor House gave us the flexibility to make the day truly our own, from the food and decorations to the guest numbers. Nothing ever felt too much to ask.
Our wedding coordinator, Chloe, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She made us feel so welcome from day one and always had time for my many questions and worries. No matter how small my concern seemed, she never made me feel like I was asking too much. Having someone so kind, patient, and organised made the whole planning process so enjoyable.
On the wedding day itself, the staff were simply amazing. Everything ran so smoothly, and they were constantly checking in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Their attention to detail meant we could completely relax and enjoy every moment. I genuinely couldn't fault them.
One thing that really stood out was how they handled the weather. It was 34°C on our wedding day, and the team had already contacted me the day before with a hot weather plan, making sure I was happy with it. It turned out to be the best decision. Our drinks reception made use of the beautiful shaded grass area, which perfectly suited the relaxed atmosphere we wanted while keeping everyone comfortable. It actually made the day even better than I had imagined, and I'm so grateful to the team for thinking ahead and looking after both us and our guests.
We also chose the Ruby drinks package, and it was such a hit! The rum punch was definitely the favourite cocktail, and so many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the drinks during the reception. I'd definitely recommend considering one of the drinks packages.
Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how seamlessly organised the whole day felt. That was entirely down to the incredible team at Dodmoor House, who brought every little detail we had envisioned to life.
If you're looking for a stunning venue with an amazing team who genuinely care about making your wedding everything you've dreamed of, I couldn't recommend Dodmoor House highly enough. Thank you for giving us the most perfect day—we'll treasure those memories forever.

We genuinely had the perfect day and other venues could learn a lot from Dodmoor on how to communicate and also how to provide customer service. Don’t hesitate, they are simply brilliant.

If you are looking for a rustic, barn vibe and incredibly wedding coordinators, then Dodmoor is the place to go. Our wedding coordinator was Chloe, and we could not fault her or the team in any way and can’t thank her enough for helping us create our dream wedding
Our dream wedding day!
Despite having a smaller wedding, we were made to feel just as special as any larger celebration. In the lead-up, I felt quite stressed, but after our planning meeting with our wedding coordinator Kara, that stress quickly turned into excitement. No detail was overlooked, and we felt completely confident that we were in the best hands.
One of the things we loved most was how flexible they were. They allow you the freedom to choose your own caterers and incorporate DIY decor, so you can truly create a day that feels personal and exactly how you’ve imagined it. They also had a range of hire items that were reasonably priced, the DIY DJ was particularly brilliant!
It was the thoughtful touches that really stood out from the SOS boxes in the getting-ready rooms with items such as pins and scissors that you may have forgotten, to the delicious breakfast the following morning, complete with Mr and Mrs mugs for coffee. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, and Kara was absolutely incredible. I had a lot of DIY decorations and I was expecting to set these up myself but Kara took that stress away, allowing me to relax on my wedding morning. She brought all of my ideas to life, even better than I could have imagined. She was always nearby if we have any questions and to let us know where we needed to be and when. We truly can't thank her enough, she went above and beyond.
The drinks packages offered fantastic value with a great variety, and both we and our guests loved them, especially the Irish hot chocolate!
It truly was the most perfect day, and we honestly wish we could do it all over again. Thank you so much from Mr and Mrs Warren ♥️

Meet the team
They converted the barns from scratch in 2006, as they wanted to create a stylish and flexible venue, where couples can have the wedding day of their dreams.
Ever since, they have put their heart and soul into making Dodmoor an award-winning venue.
Carolyn is the longest serving member of staff, starting part time at the age of just 16 (when Dodmoor first opened!) and she has coordinated weddings here for more than a decade, she has many great stories to tell.
Carolyn even got married here herself in July 2017.

Shona is a wedding coordinator and the operations guru who makes sure everything works in the venue!

It was one of the sunniest September days we've ever seen!
There was Mexican food and a saxophonist. A great mix for a wedding day, if you ask us.
