Dodmoor House recently hosted our wedding and we could not have wished for a better experience from the first visit right the way through to the end of our big day!

When we first saw the venue, we instantly fell in love with it. The beautiful barns, glorious grounds, a courtyard for mingling and a wonderful bridal/ honeymoon suite had us sold!

The booking process was very easy and Mark and his team immediately set about helping us with our planning. The suppliers who Dodmoor work with are all first class and open evenings provided a great opportunity to discuss the finer details.

As our wedding got closer, we were introduced to our coordinator - the amazing Eleanor. She talked through every aspect of our wedding and put together a detailed plan which took away all of the stress. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very well looked after!

On to the day itself - the venue was dressed beautifully and looked amazing. Glorious by day, enchanting by night!

Eleanor was on hand all day - keeping things flowing but in a completely non-intrusive manner.

Our ceremony in the beautiful Courtyard Barn was perfect. Big enough to accommodate all of our guests, but small enough to feel intimate and unique.

For our drinks reception in the courtyard, we were lucky enough to enjoy brilliant weather while we chilled out to some live music and enjoyed the drinks package which Dodmoor House provided (the Ruby package - fantastic choice of drinks and value!)

We were whisked off by our photographer and were again amazed at all the great locations for those all important photos, before rejoining our guests.

Our wedding breakfast in the Catesby Barn followed and flowed so well, with Eleanor on hand to oversee everything. We were introduced from the mezzanine which gave a real sense of occasion!

After the meal and speeches, the Dodmoor Elves did their work and set the room up ready for the evening reception, while guests enjoyed a coffee/ tea (or something a bit stronger!) in the courtyard barn.

For the evening reception, the room looked amazing and flowed from a chilled first dance venue to a full on party venue!

At the end of the evening, the Dodmoor team were once again on hand to help ensure that everyone got to their transport, which was provided to a nearby hotel.

The following day, we woke to a great breakfast which was delivered by the team to the honeymoon suite. Warm pastries and a delicious selection of cold products with fresh coffee!

We were sad to leave Dodmoor House as the entire experience - from booking to our perfect wedding day, had been so special.

We cannot praise the staff enough and would wholeheartedly recommend Dodmoor House to anyone. Our guests, aged 12 to 80, all commented on what a perfect venue it is.

I truly cannot recommend Dodmoor enough! The venue is stunning but what really makes it are the staff! They are so friendly and attentive it really makes the the stress of wedding planning melt away. Our co-ordinator Beth-Rai was so lovely, we must have emailed her a million times in the run up to our big day and her responses were always fast and incredibly helpful! The staff truly do go above and beyond to take the pressure off of you as a couple, they handle so much behind the scenes and let you focus on having the perfect day!

We cannot fault Dodmoor House and we would absolutely recommend the venue. The staff make you feel like yours is the only wedding they're working on, getting back to emails very quickly with a lot of detail. Our coordinator, Chloe, was incredible. She was professional and got things done, but warm and friendly, keeping us calm on the day.
The whole process of both planning and the wedding day itself has been thought through by Dodmoor so carefully, and they've included lovely touches along the way to help make the day feel special - like a well stocked honeymoon suite and getting ready room, with everything you might need on the day.

Our wedding at Dodmoor was exactly as the title says, the most perfect day!

Ever since we booked the venue back in January 2023, the team at Dodmoor have been fantastic, allowing us to come to as many open evenings as possible and helping out where possible. As the day came close, we were given a team lead in Eleanor & Marleen who were fantastic. Both so approachable and accommodating to our needs and requests, nothing was too big or small for them, they made everything so stress free for us to really enjoy the day, we wont ever be able to say thank you enough to them!

The venue itself is so lovely, we were so fortunate with the weather we were able to use the lawn where the garden games were available, whilst also having the courtyard to fall back too as the evening drew closer with all the fairy lights and festoons, made it feel very intimate and private.

We would whole heartedly recommend this venue and team for our friend future weddings!

The team at Dodmoor House were just fantastic throughout the whole planning process, and on our wedding day. They were professional, responsive and no ask was too big or small when we were getting to the details for the day. We wanted a barn-vibe, intimate, relaxed venue for around 75 guests and this was perfect for us. We also really appreciated the ability to use our own suppliers. We found it really difficult to find a venue that allowed us to bring our own caterer, but Dodmoor were so accommodating with all of the suppliers we used. If you are looking for a wedding venue we highly recommend Dodmoor!

We don’t have the words! Our entire experience has been incredible. If we had to do it all over again, we’d choose Dodmoor every single time. Our guests all commented on how beautiful it was and how brilliant the staff were. Their attention to detail is next level! I feel like we hit the jackpot with our venue… they truly care about making your wedding everything you wanted it to be.

I couldn’t imagine a better team of people and a more beautiful space. Everyone was so relaxed and had the best time, it felt like we were on holiday!

We had our wedding at Dodmoor House back in March this year and the whole experience was utterly flawless - from our first viewing right up until the big day. There was something very warm and magical about the venue which we instantly fell in love with. Louise was our wedding co-ordinator and she was OUTSTANDING. There was a Monica from Friends level of organisation that we were so impressed with! You really don't have to worry about a single thing on the day because the whole team are absolute pros and will ensure everything runs without an issue. They're also incredible flexible and can adapt seamlessly if you need to make some minor changes. What we really appreciated though was the warmth and personal touch. Despite the fact that they clearly put on hundreds of weddings a year, they somehow make you feel special and they seem to really, really care. We are so grateful to Louise and the Dodmoor staff for given us a completely unforgettable day without a single hiccup. We would recommend in a heartbeat.

Dodmoor House is such a beautiful venue but what really made our day special was the organisation and coordination. Our coordinator Eleanor made sure our day ran so smoothly and our guests even commented on how well organised it all was! It meant we could just relax and enjoy time with all our favourite people. We had the absolute best day!

Dodmoor were amazing from booking our wedding right through to the day itself! Nothing was too much trouble on the day and the way they changed rooms and decor around so quickly was an art! Everyone said on the day how beautiful and spacious the venue was! The amazing thing with dodmoor is you dont need loads of decor to make it look good as it already has a beautiful, Rustic feel to it.

Dodmoor cater so much to the needs of your wedding and allow you to shape your day the way you want it! There is not a better venue out there in my opinion! If I was to do it again, I'd do it at dodmoor in a heartbeat!

My Husband and I got married here very recently and I cannot recommend this venue enough. If you are starting your journey and you're unsure of so many things, I highly recommend emailing them and attending one of their open evenings. You will fall in love with the rustic and fairy tale like setting. All staff are a dream and through are year and half planning we never once spoke to or met any one we didn't like. Dodmoor act as if your wedding is the only one in the world and they work with you to create your day. I honestly, couldn't imagine a better experience and our day was everything and more we could have dreamed. I will miss feeling like part of the Dodmoor family as they became so integral to our wedding journey. Please, do not overlook this venue!

Dodmoor house was the best wedding venue that we could have asked for.
We were able to get ready there in the morning, all drinks complimentary, beautiful ceremony, beautiful barns and the courtyard is amazing. At night , the courtyard looks like a fairytale. I absolutely could not fault this venue or Chloe the coordinator

The prompt and detailed communication and care in the lead up and on the day was amazing, and the broad level of support given and advice when asked was so helpful and appreciated. It felt so personal and we felt so cared for, with the utmost trust instilled in Louise from the moment we met her. Also, her professionalism and high level of skill at her job at all times was incredibly admirable, noticeable, and appreciated. 10/10!

Were do we start.....from the first look around to our wedding day Dodmoor have been exceptional!
We fell in love with Dodmoor from our first visit we loved the courtyard in bloom, set up for the barns and the really helpful staff. The communication from Dodmoor has been brilliant always timely, we used external vendors some not on the Dodmoor list however this was no issue at all and we had great feedback from our vendors. The lead up to our wedding Kara was extremely efficient nothing was too much trouble and for two very novice wedding planners we felt everything was in hand.
Our wedding day was perfect though we started with rain the sun made its appearance just in time, everything ran to plan...and if it didn't we were completely unaware! This is a testament to the seamless running of the day, our guests have complimented how relaxed the day ran they barely noticed the changes from day to evening. Our guests like ourselves were well looked after, all the staff on the day were attentive and eager to support the smooth running of our day.
When we started the planning of our wedding we wanted a celebration with a relaxed vibe that is exactly what we got, from our first visit to the planning meeting it was clear Dodmoor got our vision. Dodmoor will always be a specially place for us!

What an amazing time we had with dodmoor. The planning process was easy and informative. We had meetings and communication from them which were helpful and proactive. They supplied a wedding coordinator (well 2, day and night) who made the day run so smooth - shout out to Chloe and Katie! The day itself was amazing and we cannot thank dodmoor and its staff enough. Photos do not do the venue justice as it’s even more beautiful in person.

As soon as we stepped into Dodmoor House for our first viewing we knew that this was going to be the venue we wanted to get married at. We got that butterfly feeling instantly and also felt quite emotional! Straight away Dodmoor house staff were friendly and welcoming. We told them our crazy idea that we wanted a tractor theme at our wedding and they loved it and fully embraced it!
Throughout the planning process Dodmoor were regularly checking in via email to invite us to open evenings and to check if we needed any support with anything. We would also get a speedy response after replying which made us feel at ease.
On the wedding day Dodmoor house were attentive to not only us, but also our guests, and made sure that the day ran perfectly from start to finish. They ensured that our guests were looked after, drinks topped up, and nothing was too much trouble! Our wedding coordinator, Beth-rai, was particularly brilliant. We could not have asked for anyone better to support us on our special day!

This is the wedding venue of your dreams. It is truly stunning and we are so happy we had our wedding day here. Our photographer captured so many stunning photos throughout the venue, in the barns, the gorgeous honeymoon suite, in front of the house and around the grounds. We were so worried about the weather with it being an April wedding, but even in the rain the venue still looks breathtaking and you can still capture some cracking photos!

The only complaint we have is that the day went far too quickly!! We wish we could do it all over again. The best day of our lives.
