We had been apprehensive booking Dodford for our reception that it was so popular in Northamptonshire that our wedding could end up looking the same as a lot of others we knew of, as we're local - but that was a ridiculous thing to worry about! The level of flexibility/customisation you get with Dodford is unmatched in our opinion; as it's such a beautiful venue to start with, you don't have to work hard to make it look good before adding in your personality as a couple!

The whole process from enquiries to final planning and the execution on the day were great. We did have a slight issue with them not inviting us to a food tasting in enough time before our wedding date (whether they forgot/we were missed off a list we don't know) but when we did raise it they invited us to a tasting at their sister venue instead (it's 2 hours away but we were available to travel thankfully). Every member of staff we encountered in our experience with Dodford were so friendly and make you feel like you are the only couple that matters for them in that moment, which we really appreciated from such a popular/busy venue. Abbie was our Event Manager on the day and provided such an elevated level of service, nothing was too much trouble and she executed our plans/vision to a tee, adding in some extra details that we loved too.

Our wedding was in December 2024, and we only had our reception at Dodford, so the ceremony barn was set up for our drinks reception with plenty of space for guests without it feeling cramped or equally like we were all rattling around in there (we had 75 guests for our reception). They don't have many photos of indoor drinks receptions in their promo so I was a little worried how it would look but the team had it set up beautifully. We also had a brass band on the mezzanine level which was really fun and festive!

What sold Dodford for us was the no daytime corkage, which meant we could really personalise our drinks reception and wedding breakfast drinks without breaking the bank. There was a slight disconnect with how and when we had requested/planned to serve some of the drinks in our planning meeting and what happened on the day, which we think may have been a slight hiccup in communication between Dodford and Jenkinsons (the caterers), but it didn't have a negative impact on our day at all!

Overall, there's a reason this is such a popular venue - it is truly perfect!

Dodford manor is an amazing wedding venue. From the very beginning when we first stepped into the venue to look around we fell in love. We knew we had to have our wedding there. After booking the venue we had amazing contact with the staff from booking our food tasting session. To a general email to see how our wedding planning was going. The planning meeting was well organised and we were able to talk through exactly what we wanted and no want was too big for the team.

We couldn't have asked for a better day or venue. The venue are really responsive over email and the phone, which took a lot of stress out of planning. The venue is absolutely stunning and we had the best day of our lives by far 🥰🥹

To The Dodford Team, where do we even start. From the multiple viewing sessions with different family and friends, to the trillions of questions I asked, to the service, and support on the day (and day prior). At each stage of our planning process you’ve been out of this world and made our wedding journey a joy.

As someone who loved to plan and do everything I was always a little worried about just dropping things off and leaving it to be arranged. Well if there is one piece of advice I can share with other people considering booking Dodford, or have booked… don’t be worry. Even with only accessing the venue at 11:00, they were hot on EVERYTHING. And I mean everything, from the chairs being moved in the Mortain Barn to make space for cocktail hour, decor being set up, and then moved. You name it, everything was done perfectly. Even a year or more out you’re made to feel like the only couple in the world, let alone on the day.

We’ll be forever grateful to the whole team, but in particular Abbie who has been an absolute gem on the day as well as the rest of the team present.

We had the absolute best day of our lives getting married at Dodford Manor on 09/11/2024. Having explored numerous venues during our search, Dodford Manor stood out in every way. Initially, their no corkage policy caught our attention, but over time, it became clear that Dodford is exceptional far beyond just that.

From their transparent pricing (no hidden charges for fairy lights!), to accepting credit card payments, to their lightning-fast email responses, everything about their service is designed to make your planning as smooth as possible. Their meticulous pre-planning and support on the big day itself are unmatched. Truly, I feel so lucky to have chosen them!

A special mention to Kayleigh, our phenomenal coordinator. She was an absolute dream, going above and beyond at every turn—even chasing after me when I almost left all our presents behind in a post-wedding haze! She anticipated my needs even when I was too overwhelmed to articulate them, making me feel so supported throughout. Honestly, any of the coordinators would be amazing. Over the two years of planning, every email we sent was met with warmth and helpfulness from the entire team.

Huge thanks to Jess and Simon for helping us unpack our mountain of decorations and drinks, ensuring everything fit perfectly despite the overflow. And to Hannah, who conducted our wedding meeting with such care and enthusiasm. The whole team clearly loves what they do, and that passion shines through in every detail.

I won’t even get started on Jenkinsons (the in-house caterers), as they deserve a review of their own. Just know you’re in the best hands, and you’ll feel like royalty on your big day!

From start to finish we couldn't be happier with Dodford Manor.

We got married on June 9th 2024 and from our first visit in 2022 we knew we had to get married at Dodford. The venue is simply beautiful, the grounds are immaculate - all the lavender was out when we got married and it made for some great photos. The drive in with all the countryside and sheep roaming makes for a great first impression when driving into the grounds.

The main barn is what sold us the venue though, the exposed brickwork, oak beams and glass frontage reminded us of our trips to Italy and our decision was made on the spot.

The wonderful staff is also what makes Dodford that bit more special, they are such lovely people and were on hand to answer all our weird and wonderful questions on the run up to our big day - and believe me we had some! 😂

We was allocated Sky as our event manager and she is truly a gem, she was on hand throughout our whole day smiling and assisting with everything to ensure it was perfect! Sky really made our day that extra bit special and her organisation with it all prior and on the day was really appreciated.

Dodford truly have thought of everything, from the list of recommended suppliers in which we sourced our band Apollo Soul who our family and friends are still talking about now - to the day before wheeling out the big trollies to transport our decorations, signage and drinks - also the NO CORKAGE, brilliant!!!

A quick mention to Jenkinson's the caterers who completely wowed the whole entire wedding party - the food was outstanding, well portioned, hot and all served professionally and with a smile, we couldn't recommend them enough. All the guests have said it was the best wedding food they have ever had!

I could write pages singing Dodford Manor's praises, we wish we could do it all again.

We had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Dodford Manor on 12th September 2024. From our very first visit in January 2022 to our wedding day Dodford Manor’s team have been incredible. The venue is stunning, the team are friendly, attentive and amazing at what they do making our day run so smoothly with no issues at all. They were always so happy to help, from getting umbrellas when the rain started, herding guests in the right direction, making sure that my wife and I were well catered for and looked after, to finding some batteries for a surprise inflatable suit that I wore in the evening. If we could do it all again, we would without a doubt choose to do it at Dodford Manor. Thank you so much to all the team who made our dream day come true, we are truly grateful. Recently had our wedding here, from the first moment of contact the team were always quick at responding and answering any random questions I had whilst planning our wedding. On the day Lauren had everything under control and put all my creations in place, taking the stress away from me, she put us all at ease and worked so hard behind the scenes making sure everything was in place and running smoothly. The team at Dodford are truly fantastic. Oh day was just wonderful from start to finish and our guests had a fantastic time - I can't recommend them highly enough.

We got married at Dodford Manor last year on Monday 4th September 2023. It was the most magical day at the most wonderful venue. After our first viewing we knew this was the perfect venue for us! The staff were so welcoming and informative, quick at responding to emails/ queries in preparation to our big day.

The venue is stunning. Beautiful rustic buildings surrounded by the wonderful Northamptonshire countryside especially the sheep :) We loved the fact there was two separate venues for the ceremony and wedding reception. We were very fortunate to have hot weather and being at Dodford meant we could enjoy the sun but also be nice and cool indoors as the air con was fab.


Organisation was excellent. All of our decorations were pre placed before we arrived at the venue, making preparations quick and efficient before our big day kicked off. Our wedding coordinator Abbie was so kind and a delight on the day ensuring everything was in order and to our needs throughout.


A great perk at Dodford Manor is the no corkage service meaning we had the option to supply our own drinks during the daytime. This was served by their in house catering company Jenkinsons. Jenkinsons were OUTSTANDING! The service was 5 stars, the food was piping hot and our guests received their food in a timely manner. Many of our guests commented ‘it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had’ During each course, the staff would check up on us and how our food was specifically making us feel very special during the wedding breakfast.

Overall, we cannot recommend Dodford Manor enough. Massive thanks to all of the staff for making our wedding day the best day ever! xx

From the moment we walked into Dodford Manor we were in LOVE - it was the first venue we visited and instantly knew we did not need to search any further.
Driving into the venue was like driving through a painting with sheep milling across the road and pulling up in front of the stunning barns. The interior of the barns was as beautiful as the outside and every member of staff we have had the pleasure of speaking to are truly fantastic. No query is too small and is answered very quickly with helpful advice along the way, we know, we sent quite a few emails for information over the 2 years of planning.
On the day Lauren & Hannah were incredible, from understanding the vision we had for our setup and executing it perfectly, to supporting and advising us throughout the set up stage in the morning and allowing Sarah and her bridal party to get ready with no disruption whilst being on hand if any of them needed anything. The day went so smoothly with the staff working as a perfectly oiled machine, even when some of our guests could not make it at the last minute and we asked to remove a table for dinner moments before entering.
Jenkinsons (the dedicated caterers) were equally as incredible from Megan helping us build the perfect menu, and helping ensure we could have a dish that was not on their menu selections, the catering manager and the team on the day served our guests with a meal we still have guests rave about 6 months later! Every course was cooked to perfection, and served so smoothly.
If you have any doubts about using Dodford Manor, dismiss them, we would recommend the venue and people every day of the week.

My son had his wedding at Dodford Manor 14/7/24 and it was absolutely fantastic. The venue is stunning, the staff have been excellent- quick to respond to emails, nothing is too much trouble and they are so very helpful & the food was absolutely faultless. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful venue.

I was against having a barn venue but my husband insisted we went to a viewing day and I wanted to book it within the first five minutes of arriving. From Abbie showing us round the venue and patiently asking all of our questions and explaining next steps, to Kayleigh arranging our pre-wedding meeting and running everything seamlessly and discreetly on the day, they are flawless. The location is also stunning, our guests kept commenting on it and how nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for helping us to make such cherished memories x
