The day ran so smoothly. The staff went above and beyond to make sure myself, my husband and all the guests had everything they needed. The day was great and any little changes that needed doing on the day or beforehand were accommodated to straight away. The response time with emails and any queries on the lead up to the wedding was excellent. On the day Matt was an especially amazing member of staff. He couldn't do more for anyone and make everyone for special and taken care of. I can not thank Rivington Hall enough for such a perfect day.

We honestly don’t know where to start with how amazing our wedding day was at The Plough. From the very beginning, the whole team were absolutely incredible and made us feel so welcomed, supported and looked after throughout the entire planning process. Our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish, and the attention to detail was amazing. The team worked so hard behind the scenes to make sure everything was perfect, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy every moment of our special day. The venue itself is beautiful and provided the perfect setting for our wedding. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and all of our guests commented on how lovely the venue and staff were. A special thank you to the whole team for everything you did for us. You went above and beyond and played such a huge part in making our day so incredibly special. We even lost our bow tie, and the team kindly made us one from a pocket square — such a thoughtful and unforgettable touch! We genuinely couldn’t recommend The Plough enough to any couple looking for their perfect wedding venue. We will always have the most amazing memories of our wedding day here and are so grateful we chose The Plough for our special day. Thank you so much for everything! Love from Kerry and Steve ❤️

We had the most perfect day at Bartle Hall thanks to the team - we could not recommend Bartle Hall enough!! From our first visit to the wedding day, the team have been incredible, adapting and changing with no question to big or small - you made our experience so smooth and calm ☺️ on the wedding day we couldn’t have asked for more, we had so many compliments about every staff member and made sure we had everything we needed and more! To have a staff member with us all day was incredible, we never went short of drinks or food, guests were cared for beyond our expectations!! We couldn’t have had our perfect day without you, the venue is absolutely beautiful, everything was laid out to perfection and our last minute additions were no issue to the team. We would recommend Bartle Hall to everyone, not only for the amazing location and looks of the venue, but the incredible food and service too from start to finish! Thank you again, Mr & Mrs Hughes ⭐️

The Tithe Barn at Meols Hall is truly a spectacular wedding venue. From the beautiful setting to the exceptional service, every detail was perfect. The Sue, Julia, Sophie and team go above and beyond to make every occasion so special, creating wonderful memories that last a lifetime.

I think it’s always difficult to read reviews of wedding venues, because naturally, for the couple writing them, it was the best day of their lives. But what makes Heaton House so special is that they don’t just care about your one day, they care about the entire journey that leads you there. From the very beginning, we felt looked after. Not only did our wedding day surpass every expectation we could possibly have had, but we were able to actually enjoy our engagement, enjoy planning our wedding and, most importantly, enjoy the process of getting married. What could have been a daunting task became one of the happiest parts of our engagement because we knew we had such an incredible team behind us. No ask was too great. No idea was too small. You want tiramisu for your wedding cake? No problem. You want cricket on the lawn? That sounds fun. You have treasured family recipes that you’d love recreated for your wedding breakfast? The wonderful catering team will make it happen. And that, to us, is what sets Heaton House apart. At no point did it ever feel transactional. We never felt like another wedding, another booking or another invoice. We felt listened to, valued and cared for. Every little detail mattered to them because it mattered to us. And then, of course, there is the venue itself. It is beautiful and manages to feel warm, welcoming and completely at home at the same time. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it, and somehow it became even more beautiful on our wedding day. We feel incredibly lucky to have got to know so many of the people who make Heaton House what it is. From the wonderful office team, to the incredible catering staff, to everyone working behind the scenes, every single person we encountered was kind, enthusiastic and invested in making our wedding the best it could possibly be. A very special thank you has to go to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Chloe. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for anyone better. She was the warmest, calmest presence throughout the entire process and somehow always made everything feel completely manageable. She promised us good weather and, by God, she delivered! Perhaps the greatest compliment we can give Heaton House is that we don’t feel like we’ve simply left our wedding venue behind. We feel like we’ve made friends there, and knowing that we are welcomed back to celebrate future anniversaries and special occasions makes it all the more special. You can have an exceptional wedding in many places, but at Heaton House, you are guaranteed something even more valuable: an exceptional journey to get there. Thank you to every single person at Heaton House for giving us not only the most incredible wedding day, but an engagement and wedding-planning experience that we will look back on with just as much fondness. Omg I do not know where to start. This venue is absolutely perfect. From day 1 when we went to view until the day after the wedding the whole team made our wedding day completely perfect. The setting itself is beautiful but the small added touches from the staff who helped make the whole day go so smoothly. The staff were so attentive and the attention to detail just wow. The food was amazing. Our starter was created uniquely for us by the chefs and was perfect. Loved every minute from start to finish

Askham made life really easy. My wife and I arent the most creative but they really helped with how we could best make use of the space. The food here is also incredible, both during the wedding and the morning of and after. We have nothing but great things to say about Askham and the staff were always very responsive and helpful. I also think Askham is great value for money when you consider that you are getting everything together in a single package - honestly that takes a lot of stress away!

Me and my husband only nipped by to see the venue and it wasn’t even dressed for weddings and we fell in love with it. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue and then all the staff just made it the perfect choice! Highly recommend to all, had so many guests say how amazing the venue is. Alice was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best day we could have imagined at The Outbarn!

Location and venue is beautiful and the whole wedding team made sure the day went smoothly from start to finish, couldn’t ask for better!

If you love The Lake District and the outdoors this venue is the one for you! All of our guests were blown away by the surroundings and we were able to tailor it to exactly what we wanted!
