The day ran so smoothly. The staff went above and beyond to make sure myself, my husband and all the guests had everything they needed. The day was great and any little changes that needed doing on the day or beforehand were accommodated to straight away. The response time with emails and any queries on the lead up to the wedding was excellent. On the day Matt was an especially amazing member of staff. He couldn't do more for anyone and make everyone for special and taken care of. I can not thank Rivington Hall enough for such a perfect day.

We had the best wedding ever at the plough inn. Everything turned out perfectly, the day was very wet and the staff were on hand to make sure photographs were perfect and could be taken inside. Down to every last detail, I can't thank the staff enough. They took the time to know my guests and even bring out some children's desserts later in the evening as they fell asleep. We wanted a venue that was flexible in catering options, with a hotel onsite and that didn't break the bank. We got much more than that :)

We had the most perfect day at Bartle Hall thanks to the team - we could not recommend Bartle Hall enough!! From our first visit to the wedding day, the team have been incredible, adapting and changing with no question to big or small - you made our experience so smooth and calm ☺️ on the wedding day we couldn’t have asked for more, we had so many compliments about every staff member and made sure we had everything we needed and more! To have a staff member with us all day was incredible, we never went short of drinks or food, guests were cared for beyond our expectations!! We couldn’t have had our perfect day without you, the venue is absolutely beautiful, everything was laid out to perfection and our last minute additions were no issue to the team. We would recommend Bartle Hall to everyone, not only for the amazing location and looks of the venue, but the incredible food and service too from start to finish! Thank you again, Mr & Mrs Hughes ⭐️

We had an excellent experience having our twilight wedding at Meols Hall. The venue itself is spacious and beautiful, having the coachhouse and barn separate was excellent for the flow of the event. I had my own bridal room and toilet which was excellent when I needed a breather/ or touch up my makeup or needed the loo. The team were incredible, friendly and dedicated from the open day onwards. Excellent communication via email and had several meetings with the team to go over details and plans for the day. Their experience shows and put us both at ease as we were informed where we needed to be throughout the day and I was offered support with my dress to make sure it was all laid out nicely for the aisle and then the confetti. The bar team on the night were also very friendly and offered great service. The day after we were able to pick up our bits and my belongings were carefully packed away. I couldn’t fault the team or the venue. Many of the guests commented on how flawless the wedding was and I agree.

We needed a venue that would hold a large daytime party (130) + more for the evening. We were wowed the moment we viewed Heaton House Farm and wow did we make the right decision. It was our wedding last week (early oct) and all of our guests commented how stunning the venue was. Jo our wedding coordinator was amazing and the food was stunning. The whole day ran like clockwork. All of the team including the catering staff are fabulous and make you feel really special on your day. If you are looking for a venue with versatility, great food and wonderful staff then do not hesitate to book here.

The professionalism from the staff at Sandhole Oak Barn was outstanding, from the waiters, to bar staff, to the coordinators. Their attitude towards the guests was very bubbly and smiley. Everyone who attended our wedding was super thrilled with how beautiful the venue was. The location by the lake was also stunning.

Cannot recommend getting married here highly enough. The venue itself is stunning, nestled in a quiet part of the Lake District but still very easy to get to. The staff are second to none, all of the team were incredible but special mention to Alice our planner who ran the show, it all went perfectly. Highly recommend booking out the entire venue for the weekend if budget allows, a meal the night before and waking up to go in the hot tub/pool in such amazing surroundings is a great way to start a wedding! Food, drink, service, venue all 5 Stars

Me and my husband only nipped by to see the venue and it wasn’t even dressed for weddings and we fell in love with it. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue and then all the staff just made it the perfect choice! Highly recommend to all, had so many guests say how amazing the venue is. Alice was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best day we could have imagined at The Outbarn!

Location and venue is beautiful and the whole wedding team made sure the day went smoothly from start to finish, couldn’t ask for better!

If you love The Lake District and the outdoors this venue is the one for you! All of our guests were blown away by the surroundings and we were able to tailor it to exactly what we wanted!
