This exclusive-use wedding venue offers a tranquil setting and privacy for you and your guests, complete with picturesque gardens, a Monet-inspired bridge, and even vineyards for breathtaking photos.
Prepare in Style
Get ready for your big day in The Dressing Room, an elegant space overlooking gardens and a pool. Featuring comfortable sofas, stylish dressing tables, and abundant natural light, it's the perfect place for preparations where you can pop some bubbles and enjoy your pre-wedding moments with your nearest and dearest.
Ceremony Choices
Exchange vows beneath a charming thatched gazebo for an outdoor ceremony, or opt for the historic Essex barn for an intimate, indoor setting. With exclusive use, your ceremony location can be decided on the day, weather permitting. Both spaces are licensed for civil ceremonies and ideal for celebrant-led weddings.
Your Wedding Reception
After your wedding ceremony, you and your guests can begin the celebrations with reception drinks and canapes at the Stable Bar, surrounded by the idyllic countryside. It is the perfect setting for group photos too with the Monet-inspired bridge as your backdrop.
For your wedding breakfast and the evening party, High House's brand-new Orangery will offer a light and airy space to with breathtaking sunset views over the tranquil lake. The impressive structure will be ready for weddings in 2025 and is perfect for weddings year-round; featuring advanced heat and sound insulation, this space allows you to entertain guests comfortablyno matter the weather!
Our experienced inhouse catering team will deliver an exceptional menu for your big day. Your catering options range from informal and relaxed barbecues to sophisticated multi-course fine dining menus, ensuring there's something to delight every palate and style. We'll also work with you to make sure all dietary needs are catered for!
Onsite Accommodation
Unwind after your celebrations in luxurious accommodations at High House for up to 27 guests. The Farmhouse, opened in 2024, features 11 ensuite bedrooms, a shared lounge, and a kitchen; the Courtyard Rooms offer a comfortable and cosy space for guests that want to be closer to the action.
And for the newlyweds, the ultimate honeymoon suite... the secluded Couples Retreat! This space is hidden within a secret garden and offers a private haven for you and your partner, complete with a lavish bedroom, freestanding bath, and cosy lounge for your wedding night.

I can't thank everyone enough that works at High House. Everyone was so helpful, kind and mindful. Jess & Hayley in particular were just absolutely wonderful. Honestly feel emotional at how wonderful they were. I have multiple chronic conditions and needed things to be adapted to help me and wow, they just truly went above and beyond to help me. I needed a venue that was accessible for my varying needs and for my friend that is a wheelchair user also. Literally from the first week of me visiting the venue they immediately wanted to help make things even more accessible. The only steps at this venue are the brick steps into the bridal dressing room but they ordered in ramps for here and they were brilliant. Really helped. They adapted other areas for me, went through things that would help me more. I was really worried about how I would manage my conditions on the wedding day but speaking with Jess & Hayley prior to the wedding they really lifted a huge weight of worry from me. They made me feel really held and that I could feel excited about the wedding day without worry. I honestly wouldn't of been able to manage if I'd got married at any other venue. It just wouldn't have worked for me. They really gave me the wedding of dreams. I couldn't have asked for anything more, the wedding day was absolutely perfect. I can't believe it. It feels surreal just how perfect it was and that really was down to how helpful and caring they are at High House. It's not just a business, they truly want everyone to feel happy and have the wedding of their dreams. I really can't thank them all enough. What wonderful people and a wonderful venue. It's got this beauty to it that's so special and really can't be replicated or found at any other venue. It was magical and more than we could have ever hoped for. Thank you so much!! You've made my heart feel so full and grateful ❤️❤️❤️
