I’ve not got married before, so I don’t have anything else to compare to. But we both loved the venue so much, we fell in love with the barn from the moment we saw it. All of our guests commented that it was beautiful too! The Wroxeter company provide a wedding co-ordinator (we had Aimee and she was absolutely amazing! 10/10!!) who really takes the stress out of the day and makes sure everything goes smoothly. We wanted a package wedding where food etc is all provided as we’re busy and didn’t want to have to find / coordinate vendors ourselves, and this ticked those boxes. We thought it was good value for money compared to other venues. We did swap the DJ for one that we felt was more “us” though.
A couple of things to note- the road leading up to the farm had absolutely horrific potholes the week of the wedding, I think it’s unadopted so could really do with some TLC for the guest / vendor comfort.
The farm doesn’t have a kitchen on site, so the food is brought up from the wroxeter hotel. We were nervous about this - but the food we had was really good and you couldn’t tell (hog roast and evening pizza/chips)
The tea and coffee capabilities were limited - not sure if this is something that could be improved. We had quite a few guests requesting hot drinks in the evening and they could only do a couple at a time because of lack of mugs/ hot water (I think)
But all in all we had THE BEST day, it was so beautiful. And part of the charm is that it’s a bit rough around the edges! We’d definitely recommend it!
