A Place That Will Always Hold a Special Place in Our Hearts ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where do we even begin with Barns & Yard? From the moment we first visited, we knew there was something incredibly special about this place. It is absolutely beautiful. The barns, courtyard, lake, grounds and the backdrop of the Malvern Hills, but what makes Barns & Yard truly exceptional is the people behind it. Lisi, Laura, Kate and Lisa were simply incredible. Throughout the planning of our wedding, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Every question was answered, every little detail considered and we always felt that they genuinely cared about making our wedding everything we wanted it to be. Having the venue from the day before was also such a special part of the experience. Being able to arrive, settle in, put all of our personal touches in place and watch the venue we’d spent so long imagining gradually become our wedding made the whole experience feel like so much more than just one day. And then came the wedding itself. What an incredible day. Everything ran seamlessly. The venue looked absolutely stunning, our guests fell in love with it, and we were able to simply enjoy every second knowing that everything behind the scenes was being taken care of. There are so many beautiful wedding venues out there, but Barns & Yard gave us something more than that. It gave us a place that genuinely felt like ours for those few days, somewhere filled with our family, friends, laughter and some of the happiest memories of our lives. As we wrote in the guest book before leaving: we’ll never forget the memories we made there, and Barns & Yard will always hold a very special place in our hearts. To Lisi, Laura, Kate, Lisa and everyone behind the scenes, THANK YOU, genuinely, for everything you did for us and our guests. You helped give us the wedding day we’d dreamed about and one we wish we could do all over again. For any couple considering Barns & Yard, go and see it. We cannot fault the team from Bredenbury Court Barns! Our wedding day was perfect, they answered all of our questions with excellent customer service during the lead up to our day. On the day, Jess was amazing, she helped to keep our wedding day running smoothly, calmly and to time. As part of booking our wedding with them, Bredenbury's team dress the venue absolutely perfectly as per our decor plans and arranged all of our no corkage drinks. We can't thank the team enough for our perfect day. Special thanks to Jess for coordinating our amazing wedding day, enjoyed by all in attendance.

We planned our wedding in the space of a few months. Paul and Heather were there to help us go through the planning, despite our short timeframe. The budgets were flexible, and Paul took great time to explain anything to us that we were unsure about. The recommendations for photographers were brilliant, we used Shepherd Photography who met our needs perfectly. We used the DJ provided and he was amazing. On the day Heather and Karissa were so helpful and warm throughout. The whole wedding day was seamless, the food was delicious and worth every penny. Paul managed the flow of the day in a calm professional manner, and took time to chat to us throughout the day. I would recommend this family run venue, the warmth received was felt by all, and they helped us create our perfect day.

We booked Delbury for our wedding in September 2026 and the day was incredible. Ellie was our wedding coordinator and she was so helpful. We had a meeting beforehand and she was quick to answer any questions we had after that. We had helpful information beforehand and drop-off the day before was easy. I found the day stress-free and Ellie was always on hand if I had a quick query on the day. Accommodation and breakfast were great. We would recommend Delbury as a venue for weddings- it is so beautiful and a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor areas! Kath and Alex

We had the most amazing wedding day on 7th September 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more perfect. Emma, our wedding planner, was absolutely brilliant. She was so supportive throughout the planning process and always there when we needed her. Unfortunately, Emma wasn’t able to run the day itself, but Laura was absolutely fabulous stepping in and taking over. She helped organise everything so smoothly, and the whole day went perfectly to plan. Myself and my husband had the most incredible day. The venue was absolutely breathtaking and truly felt like a dream come true. Everything was so beautiful, and we wouldn’t change a single thing. It’s a day we will treasure forever, and if we could do it all over again, we absolutely would! Thank you to everyone who helped make our wedding day so magical and unforgettable. ❤️

The Planning Vicki & Fred were truly wonderful during the build up towards the wedding. From the very first meeting where we got to explore the whole venue, both indoors and outdoors, we felt welcomed like family. Their ethos of “you do you” meant that we felt like nothing was ever too much to ask. Becca and I had some big ideas for what we would like and we threw everything into the pot, Vicki and Fred listened closely and were able to use their skills and experience to clearly explain any practicalities and options we hadn’t considered. Their advice was never overpowering and made it possible to deliver everything we ever could have wanted. From designing the way we wanted both the ceremony room and the main seating room to look, to the cutlery, table dressings, food and drinks packages, music, timings, all were planned down to the minute and without worry, concern or stress. We always knew, right from the outset, we were in the safest of hands. The Preparation The team were happy to get involved as much or as little as we wanted and we chose to combine some of their in-house decor with our own to achieve a unique vision. We visited the venue in the week before the wedding to hang the lighting, Fred spent hours up a ladder to get the lighting just the way my wife had dreamed it, whilst we scurried around fitting some uplighters that I had seen on the internet and really wanted! Abi joined us to help design the table setting and discuss music. The day before the wedding, friends and family joined the team to assemble the personal, finishing touches and it was the perfect way to bring everybody together before the big day. The Wedding Day I arrived, having had 1 hours sleep, to find our caterers cooking over open fire and the venue, well it looked fantastic. The team at the Cattle Barn had spent the time after we had left the day before cleaning, laying up and polishing the whole place. It was magical, it brings tears to my eyes to remember how happy I was and this was an hour before we were due to be married! The ceremony room looked perfect, all the chairs laid out so neatly, we had a lot of people join us but the room not only coped, but shone, no one was ever short of space. The team were in place in their shirts, ready to calm me down and receive our guests. They planned a quiet time for Becca and I after the ceremony, just a few minutes, together, alone, hidden from the guests, to enjoy our first moments together as a married couple. It was perfect, the lobby felt homely, warm and like we had been whisked away. Staying the Evening Becca and I had one of the pods for our first night as Husband and Wife, it is a lovely, peaceful, comfortable and homely space, we married in February but you wouldn’t know it was winter inside that pod! Our friends stayed in the lovely bunk houses, which I have to say are really rather posh for bunk beds. Having the capacity for so many people to stay comfortably onsite certainly kept the party going well into the night! We would highly recommend staying at the Cattle Barn. The Morning After I think the majority of our guests had rather sore heads the morning after our wedding, having spent the whole day on my feet, then the evening dancing the night away, I struggled to walk, but the venue is so accessible I could easily hobble my way in to breakfast. The team at the Cattle Barn (Fred especially) had prepared the best of breakfasts’, it was locally sourced, delicious and absolutely enjoyed by all that joined us. We are so glad that we added this to our package as a chance to catch up and recount everybody’s experience before sending them on their way home. We got so many compliments on the day which were really all credit to The Cattle Barn team! Would we recommend ? This is the easiest yes we have ever given. I was honoured to marry the love of my life at the venue of our dreams run by a team that could not have been any better, they truly are amazing! Our heartfelt thanks go to Vicki, Fred & Abi, plus the whole team that served, cleared, catered and cared for us and our guests so very, very well. It has taken me nearly 18 months to write this review and I still sit here, with tears in my eyes, as I remember one of the happiest days of my life. None of this would have been achievable without the absolutely fabulous Cattle Barn team.

Our experience at the Ashes could not be topped! It was the first venue we visited but it became clear after looking at other ones that this was the one for us. We knew we wanted a venue with beautiful grounds and this certainly ticks that box. The whole booking and planning process was stress free and the team kept in touch regularly without being overbearing which was perfect. Our event manager Helen was absolutely fabulous, she really is an expert at what she does which became evident at our planning meeting and we felt confident our day would run smoothly in her capable hands. When the day came around Helen was there ensuring everything was running to our plan, I never felt like I had to check or chase anything because Helen was on it. She was especially helpful in calming my nerves before walking down the aisle and giving us helpful tips throughout the day on where to stand and go. The onsite team were also excellent with dropping off our stuff, preparing breakfast for the following morning and returning everything at collection. Our day at the Ashes was absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

As soon as we arrived for our viewing appointment, we knew Alrewas Hayes was a special place. From the beautiful setting to the little details, everything felt just right, and we’re so glad we chose the venue for our wedding day. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by such a warm, professional and friendly team. Amie, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond throughout the whole process to make sure our day was everything we hoped for — and it truly was. At every meeting, our ideas and wishes were always at the forefront. No matter how big or small the request, Amie was always able to make it happen and made the whole experience feel completely personal to us. We were lucky enough to taste the food and wine before the day, which was absolutely superb — and our guests were still praising the canapés and wedding breakfast afterwards. Our wedding day was perfect, and the Alrewas Hayes team played such a huge part in that. They managed to be incredibly professional while also being calm, reassuring and attentive, which made such a difference. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. We’re so grateful we chose Alrewas Hayes. It was the most special day, celebrated in the most special place.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to get married. From the moment we first visited Shustoke Barn, we knew it was the one — and on our wedding day, it exceeded every expectation. The whole day felt absolutely magical. The setting is stunning, the atmosphere is warm and intimate, and every little detail came together beautifully. It was everything we had dreamed of and more. A huge thank you to Holly and the entire Shustoke Barn team for everything you did for us. Your care, support and attention throughout the planning process, and especially on the day itself, made such a difference. You were all so helpful, friendly and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. We felt completely looked after from start to finish, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and what an incredible day it was. Ashton Lodge is a wonderful place to have a wedding. The venue is beautiful, and the food was amazing, we got so many positive comments from our wedding party both on the day and afterwards! Emma did a wonderful job beforehand helping us get everything sorted, answering questions, and providing expert advice. On the day, she made sure everything ran seamlessly, which put both our minds at ease. Emma, Ian, and the rest of the team did a stellar job. The service from all the staff was incredible, and everyone was so friendly that it really added to the day and was definitely noticed by our guests. We would recommend Ashton Lodge to anyone. Having been to many weddings as guests and looked at numerous venues, it's clear that Ashton Lodge stands out when you consider the overall experience and cost. We also really appreciated how transparent they are with pricing, which made budgeting significantly easier.
