We came to Stephanie and the Loversall team with a vision for a rustic but classy day where we could DIY as much as possible, dress the venue ourselves and let our personality shine through. We then required a large space for the evening where we could have a huge party for up to 250 guests. Loversall gave us full reins for their wonderful site including the set up of an outdoor ceremony, elegant barn for the wedding breakfast and party barn for our night celebrations. This really felt like we had 3 venues in one! As this has not been done before, the team came up with amazing ideas to bring this to life including providing a tractor trailer to transport our guests which was a highlight of the day for all - lots of music and fun. Nothing was too much to ask. It was important to us to involve our guests and the team were more than happy for us to use all our own suppliers - djs, 2 bands and even our equipment. The team felt like a part of the party and our guests loved every moment. The privacy of the party barn meant we could agree a very late curfew which has us partying until 2am so for anyone wanting to carry on the celebrations for as long as you can they are so flexible to work this out for you! We had drinks packages tailored to us including creating drinks tokens for our guests at just £5 a token to ensure people got the choice for what they wanted rather than a generic drink to toast which was amazing! The garden cottage slept my bridesmaids and me before the wedding and was a highlight for me - such a beautiful space to wake up to and made the morning a breeze! I cannot thank the team enough for all the details behind the scenes that just came through so seamlessly to allow me to enjoy my day stress free. 100% wish we could relive this all over again. Completely got the vision and bounced off our relaxed but big party ideas. Main point! Our dog Copper was a part of the day start to finish - completely dog friendly and roamed the day like she owned the place with no lead way into the night!!

Olivia and the team were absolutely outstanding and we couldn’t have asked for anything more, our wedding day was perfect and we appreciated all the hard work beforehand and behind the scenes on the day to make it run so seamlessly they’re all unbelievable at what they do! The barn is stunning, food was lovely and the grounds made for the perfect backdrop to our photos.

Wow! We have just had our wedding at Danby Castle Barn and it was fabulous. If you’re looking for a venue which offers true beauty with dedicated staff who cannot do enough for you, this is the place for you! Natasha was our wedding planner and she was truly fab, I had a disaster when one of my booked professionals did not attend and she was straight on it, even offering to drive to Whitby to buy make up! Instead, by some miracle they found me a professional make up artist who came within 20 minutes and was amazing. For this I will always be truly grateful. The whole day ran seamlessly, all the staff are professional and everything from the registrars, the waiting staff, chefs and DJ were second to none. The feedback from our guests was all positive, the food is amazing no one will leave hungry! We also had our dog with us and she was even made to feel special and very much part of the day! Natasha is so professional but also very passionate about making you feel special, it felt like more than a job to her, she even shed a tear when my dad got upset. We can honestly say it was the best day of our lives, made all the more special by the staff and the venue, it’s a very special place and we will be forever grateful for all the memories it created. Sandburn Hall was one of the first venues in and around York we had come across, and we instantly fell in love. After some more searching, we made an appointment and met up with Gabby who is one of the coordinators. She met us, showed us around, and discussed all the options. There was no hidden costs, everything was clearly laid out, and we knew what we could do. We didn't even need to look anywhere else - Sandburn was for us. After booking our big day, Katrina was allocated to us as our coordinator. She was so polite, friendly, personable, and professional. Every question we had quickly had an answer. The big day came, and she made sure it was a well-oiled machine. Everything was in place, and her team worked seamlessly behind the scenes. We are so very grateful to everyone at Sandburn for their exceptional execution of our happy day. Not one problem arose, and we highly recommend the venue to anyone who wishes to have their big day there too.

We had our wedding on 21st August 2025. It was honestly the best day EVER. Wharfedale Grange is really the perfect wedding venue. Camilla was our coordinator and I couldn't have trusted her more with nailing everything on the day (and during the set-up). What a total star. Wharfedale staff know what they are doing, and they know how to make sure your wedding runs like a total dream. I have no regrets whatsoever about booking Wharfedale Grange and it will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Thanks to everyone who played a part in our day. We got married at The Normans on 9th May 2026. The Normans is an absolutely amazing venue in itself but the way Oliver and the team managed the day for us was next level and we couldn’t have asked for anything more - thank you so so much!! We had the absolute best day from start to finish and would recommend the venue to anyone. The entire process and organisation was seamless from start to finish and we couldn’t have wished for anything more! Thank you for everything!! Love from Ellie and James xx

We had our wedding with Camp Katur in September 2023 and it was honestly the most beautiful day - completely made by Camp Katur. Our woodland ceremony was the stuff of dreams, an idyllic fairytale and absolutely everything that I had hoped it would be. I think of those moments during our wedding so often and I think how glad I am that we chose Camp Katur. We could not have picked anywhere more perfect. Our guests absolutely loved the day, from the ceremony to dinner and dancing in the big, beautiful barn. People often tell me that it's the best wedding they've ever been to (maybe they say that to everyone but I believe it to be true!). So thankful to have found this incredible place.

What an insane wedding venue!!! No notes, for ease of reading for anyone interested I'll put my top 10 fave things that make Thief Hall unlike any other venue... So in no particular order.... 1) Views of the Yorkshire Three Peaks as you get married. If you are a walker or Yorkshireman/woman/person it's a lush touch. 👌We got married outside with a "groundarch" so you could see them in the distance, the views were delicious. 2) The dedicated getting ready space is INSANE. We had 14 of us in there and there was still space for dancing. 💃 More space = less stress and I was able to set up a little space for each of my Bridesmaids with gifts etc. 3) Personal touches. We came back to the room after a late night to find TH had decorated our room, prezzies, cards, a sign, and a digital photo frame with some of our photos from the day. So classy. 🫶 4) The courtyard. Friday get together with all the family and bridal party on the Friday and for hungover sausage butties on the Sunday morning made it a WEEKEND not just a day🤙 5) Nothing was too much. We had ALOT of "extras", merch wall, interactive seating chart, cocktail bits, beer pong set ups, flower take downs, changing the chairs and the answer was always, yep, we can do that, no Rach it's not a problem. 🤣 6) Onsite camping/camper vans... weddings are expensive to attend so having some free accomodation for guests was great. 💛 7) Accommodation right next to the wedding space, but also, some separate.... Perfect for much older or much younger guests that need their sleep away from loud noises. 😴 8) NO CLOSING TIME. We were there at 3am still Silent Discoing..... Not many venues are open that late. So if you want an all night party.... TH is the one 🎆 9) Dogs are welcome, and boy did ours have a great time. The team were brilliant with her and couldn't have been more welcoming. Arriving to a personalised bag with, ball and treats was a super cute touch. She was EXHAUSTED from all the fun 🐕‍🦺 10) 4 night stay for Bride and Groom. Hot tub with the sunset the day after getting married, full of the warm fuzzies. We had the most wonderful time, I would recommend Thief Hall to anyone. Even our other suppliers said how brilliant TH were and how good their communication was which offloaded a whole heap of stress from us. Thank you so much to the team. You were flawless and I truly mean that. 💛💛💛

Amazing place. Lodge is great venue for guests to stay. Barn is beautiful and unique. Sally Wade is so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Made our wedding a day to remember.
