We came to Stephanie and the Loversall team with a vision for a rustic but classy day where we could DIY as much as possible, dress the venue ourselves and let our personality shine through. We then required a large space for the evening where we could have a huge party for up to 250 guests. Loversall gave us full reins for their wonderful site including the set up of an outdoor ceremony, elegant barn for the wedding breakfast and party barn for our night celebrations. This really felt like we had 3 venues in one! As this has not been done before, the team came up with amazing ideas to bring this to life including providing a tractor trailer to transport our guests which was a highlight of the day for all - lots of music and fun. Nothing was too much to ask. It was important to us to involve our guests and the team were more than happy for us to use all our own suppliers - djs, 2 bands and even our equipment. The team felt like a part of the party and our guests loved every moment. The privacy of the party barn meant we could agree a very late curfew which has us partying until 2am so for anyone wanting to carry on the celebrations for as long as you can they are so flexible to work this out for you! We had drinks packages tailored to us including creating drinks tokens for our guests at just £5 a token to ensure people got the choice for what they wanted rather than a generic drink to toast which was amazing! The garden cottage slept my bridesmaids and me before the wedding and was a highlight for me - such a beautiful space to wake up to and made the morning a breeze! I cannot thank the team enough for all the details behind the scenes that just came through so seamlessly to allow me to enjoy my day stress free. 100% wish we could relive this all over again. Completely got the vision and bounced off our relaxed but big party ideas. Main point! Our dog Copper was a part of the day start to finish - completely dog friendly and roamed the day like she owned the place with no lead way into the night!!

We had our wedding on 21st August 2025. It was honestly the best day EVER. Wharfedale Grange is really the perfect wedding venue. Camilla was our coordinator and I couldn't have trusted her more with nailing everything on the day (and during the set-up). What a total star. Wharfedale staff know what they are doing, and they know how to make sure your wedding runs like a total dream. I have no regrets whatsoever about booking Wharfedale Grange and it will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Thanks to everyone who played a part in our day. We got married at Danby Castle in June 2026. Our experience with the team and venue was fantastic. We had our own personal wedding co-ordinator who directed us up until our wedding day, any last minute requests were never a problem, communication was fantastic. On our wedding day Natasha (our wedding co-ordinator) could not of done enough for us. It was relaxed and all ran incredibly smooth. All the staff were polite, helpful. The venue itself self is beautiful. Food was amazing (our guests are still talking about it), good selection of drinks. Best decision we ever made. Definitely going back when there’s a Sunday dinner day !

Sandburn Hall was one of the first venues in and around York we had come across, and we instantly fell in love. After some more searching, we made an appointment and met up with Gabby who is one of the coordinators. She met us, showed us around, and discussed all the options. There was no hidden costs, everything was clearly laid out, and we knew what we could do. We didn't even need to look anywhere else - Sandburn was for us. After booking our big day, Katrina was allocated to us as our coordinator. She was so polite, friendly, personable, and professional. Every question we had quickly had an answer. The big day came, and she made sure it was a well-oiled machine. Everything was in place, and her team worked seamlessly behind the scenes. We are so very grateful to everyone at Sandburn for their exceptional execution of our happy day. Not one problem arose, and we highly recommend the venue to anyone who wishes to have their big day there too.

The Woodman Inn is the perfect wedding venue. From the moment we went to view, we knew it was right for us. From the friendly and professional service, to the flexibility of the team (we had a vegetarian menu specially created and they’re dog friendly) to the gorgeous grounds for a personal and private outdoor ceremony. Nadia, Jordan and the team are incredible and went above and beyond to make us feel so special, and never judged us for any little question. To have them there on our day was the icing on the cake. I couldn’t recommend them enough! We can’t wait to come back on our anniversary to celebrate and eat more of the delicious food. Book them, you won’t regret it!

What an insane wedding venue!!! No notes, for ease of reading for anyone interested I'll put my top 10 fave things that make Thief Hall unlike any other venue... So in no particular order.... 1) Views of the Yorkshire Three Peaks as you get married. If you are a walker or Yorkshireman/woman/person it's a lush touch. 👌We got married outside with a "groundarch" so you could see them in the distance, the views were delicious. 2) The dedicated getting ready space is INSANE. We had 14 of us in there and there was still space for dancing. 💃 More space = less stress and I was able to set up a little space for each of my Bridesmaids with gifts etc. 3) Personal touches. We came back to the room after a late night to find TH had decorated our room, prezzies, cards, a sign, and a digital photo frame with some of our photos from the day. So classy. 🫶 4) The courtyard. Friday get together with all the family and bridal party on the Friday and for hungover sausage butties on the Sunday morning made it a WEEKEND not just a day🤙 5) Nothing was too much. We had ALOT of "extras", merch wall, interactive seating chart, cocktail bits, beer pong set ups, flower take downs, changing the chairs and the answer was always, yep, we can do that, no Rach it's not a problem. 🤣 6) Onsite camping/camper vans... weddings are expensive to attend so having some free accomodation for guests was great. 💛 7) Accommodation right next to the wedding space, but also, some separate.... Perfect for much older or much younger guests that need their sleep away from loud noises. 😴 8) NO CLOSING TIME. We were there at 3am still Silent Discoing..... Not many venues are open that late. So if you want an all night party.... TH is the one 🎆 9) Dogs are welcome, and boy did ours have a great time. The team were brilliant with her and couldn't have been more welcoming. Arriving to a personalised bag with, ball and treats was a super cute touch. She was EXHAUSTED from all the fun 🐕‍🦺 10) 4 night stay for Bride and Groom. Hot tub with the sunset the day after getting married, full of the warm fuzzies. We had the most wonderful time, I would recommend Thief Hall to anyone. Even our other suppliers said how brilliant TH were and how good their communication was which offloaded a whole heap of stress from us. Thank you so much to the team. You were flawless and I truly mean that. 💛💛💛

There are simply not enough words to do justice to how incredible The Normans were as a wedding venue. From the moment we first viewed the venue, right through to the final moments of our wedding day, Oliver, Sharon and the entire team made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. Planning a wedding can be a lot at times, but The Normans have perfected the balance of professionalism, organisation and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no request felt too big or too small, and every question was met with patience, reassurance and expert advice. The venue itself is stunning, and even after multiple visits, still makes you feel a certain way. The beautifully restored barns, stunning grounds and thoughtful attention to detail create a setting that feels both incredibly special and completely relaxed at the same time. It's one of those rare venues that genuinely exceeds the expectations set by the photographs. What really sets The Normans apart, however, is the people. The team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly. They anticipated needs before we even knew we had them, managed suppliers effortlessly, and allowed us to spend the day entirely focused on enjoying ourselves and making memories with our loved ones. Oliver, who worked the day, ended up feeling like another member of the family by the day's end and that, as much as anything else, is testament to just how much he and the rest of the team took care of us on the day. The result was, without question, the best day of our lives. A massive shoutout too to their catering partners, Hog and Apple, who delivered a phenomenal dining experience. The food was exceptional from start to finish and weeks later our guests are still talking about it. Having attended plenty of weddings myself, it's not often the food becomes one of the stars of the show, but Hog and Apple achieved exactly that. If you're considering The Normans, stop looking and book it. We genuinely cannot imagine a better venue, team or experience. Just wish we could do it all again. A personal thank you to Oliver, Sharon and every member of the team. You didn't just host our wedding; you helped create memories that we will stick with us for the rest of our lives. We felt cared for, supported and celebrated every step of the way, and we'll always be grateful for the role you played in making our day so special.

We had our wedding with Camp Katur in September 2023 and it was honestly the most beautiful day - completely made by Camp Katur. Our woodland ceremony was the stuff of dreams, an idyllic fairytale and absolutely everything that I had hoped it would be. I think of those moments during our wedding so often and I think how glad I am that we chose Camp Katur. We could not have picked anywhere more perfect. Our guests absolutely loved the day, from the ceremony to dinner and dancing in the big, beautiful barn. People often tell me that it's the best wedding they've ever been to (maybe they say that to everyone but I believe it to be true!). So thankful to have found this incredible place.

We recently had our wedding at this venue and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was handled so professionally and thoughtfully, making the entire day completely stress-free and enjoyable. A huge thank you to Racheal, the wedding coordinator, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. She was incredibly organised, supportive, and always available to answer questions or help with anything we needed. Her attention to detail and calm, friendly approach made such a difference and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our special day. The atmosphere at the venue was beautiful — warm, welcoming, and perfect for celebrating with family and friends. So many of our guests commented on how lovely the setting was and how smoothly everything ran. The food was another highlight of the day. We had the ‘Rustic Package’ with pizzas, a dessert table, donut wall and pick and mix cart. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we received so many compliments about both the quality and presentation.  We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stunning place to celebrate their wedding, a relaxed atmosphere, with an amazing team behind it. Thank you again for helping make our day so memorable!
