From the moment we arrived for our first viewing, we completely fell in love with it. Suzanne, who showed us around, was incredible and made us feel so comfortable, but the truth is the venue really sold itself. Everywhere we looked was beautiful.

The gardens are absolutely breathtaking and were one of the things that first captured our hearts. The flowers, the views and the care that goes into every part of the grounds make it feel so special. The Orangery is simply stunning – bright, elegant and filled with natural light, making it the most perfect place to get married. The barn where we had our wedding breakfast and speeches is equally beautiful and created such a warm and memorable atmosphere for our celebration.

A special mention has to go to Amy, our Events Manager, who was amazing throughout the entire process. No question was ever too much trouble, she was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Having someone so supportive and organised made the whole experience so much less stressful.

Since our wedding, our guests have not stopped talking about the venue. We've received so many compliments about how beautiful it was, and several guests have even told us it's the best wedding venue they've ever been to.

Gaynes Park will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was the perfect setting for the best day of our lives, and we couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else. We are so grateful to the whole team for helping make our day everything we dreamed it would be and more. We even went for a recommended supplier for our photographer and DJ and they was out of this world.

If we could give Gaynes Park 10 stars, we would without question.

We recently had our wedding at Gaynes Park, and we cannot find a single fault before, during, or after our special day.

All the way throughout our journey, we were supported by Victoria, who fielded our many questions and we were so lucky to have her running the wedding on the day!

In all honesty, our wedding was absolutely faultless and we have had so many compliments from our guests about how smoothly the day was run, the quality of the food and drink, and the grounds themselves - and myself and my new wife could not agree with them more - we were honestly blown away and all we can hope is that we manage to get invited to another wedding here so we get to come back!!!!

If you’re going through this review, please please please just book this venue - for all of the stress you have with wedding planning, so much of this was alleviated by the team both before and on the day - we cannot Thankyou all enough - you were all amazing, from the bartenders to the waitstaff to our coordinator Victoria, everyone felt so looked after.

The grounds are immaculate, even after a 3 month heatwave - and you have access to the entire venue and full choice of ceremony location and reception drinks etc - we never once felt restricted on what we could do with our day, and we were supported in making it our own

Wow what a day we had, everything was perfect from start to finish.
Lisa (wedding coordinator) went above and beyond from making myself and my bridal party feel calm, relaxed and special. The running of the whole day was smooth, professional and relaxed.
Gaynes Park was the perfect place for us , rustic, natural , amazing scenery and beautiful inside and out.
Lots of places to have photos taken and the aisle was second to none I felt like a real princess walking with my Dad to my future Husband.

Where do we even begin?! Our wedding at Gaynes Park was utterly perfect and genuinely more than we ever could have imagined.

From our very first viewing with Suzanne, nothing else could really compete. She was absolutely amazing, answered every question we had and made the whole experience feel so special from the beginning. I still remember us both getting emotional when she showed us the walk down the aisle in the Walled Garden – I think that was the moment we knew Gaynes Park was the one!

During the planning process, Gaynes Park genuinely started to feel like our second home because we wanted to keep going back! Whether we were there for a meeting or simply wanted another look around, we were always made to feel so welcome. We even brought my parents back to see the venue and they fell in love with it too. Every visit was met with such kindness (and usually drinks and snacks too, which were never expected but always very appreciated!).

We had two planning meetings, one with Freddie and another with Lisa, who was our coordinator for the wedding day. Both were incredibly thorough and well organised. You can immediately tell how experienced the team are and how many weddings they have successfully brought together. They thought of things we wouldn’t even have considered and made the whole planning process feel so manageable.

We also attended the tasting evening, which I would highly recommend to any couple getting married at Gaynes Park. It gave us such a lovely glimpse of what the wedding itself would feel like. We were able to see the venue styled, look around the Coach House rooms, speak to our coordinator and meet other couples getting married around the same time. The food was incredible and we were each served different dishes so we could share and try two options from every course. One piece of advice – if you can avoid driving, do, because there are plenty of cocktails and wine to try too! 😂

We knew we wanted to use Apple Loft Cottage for the bridal party on the morning of the wedding and stay in the Coach House after the wedding, so we also spoke with Donna several times during the planning process. She was always incredibly responsive, helpful and professional.

Apple Loft was the most beautiful place to spend the morning of the wedding. Breakfast was delivered to us and there was plenty for everyone – we were even able to offer some to our hair and makeup artists, which they really appreciated. The cottage itself is gorgeous and made the perfect backdrop for getting-ready photographs. There was so much space both upstairs and downstairs, refreshments provided and even surround-sound speakers we could connect to via Bluetooth (including in the bathroom!). Every little detail had been thought of and it gave us the most perfect start to the day. The groom’s party got ready in the Coach House, which was equally lovely and looked amazing in their photographs.

And then the wedding day itself… genuinely flawless.

We got married in the Walled Garden in front of the Orangery and it honestly felt like something from a fairytale. Everything had been put together so beautifully and, despite having all of our favourite people there, the ceremony still felt wonderfully intimate. The walk down that aisle with my dad is a moment I will cherish forever.

A huge part of how perfect the day was is down to Lisa. She was absolutely incredible from beginning to end and deserves the biggest shoutout. Before I walked down the aisle, she was such a calming presence and gently reminded me of all the little things I needed to remember at a moment when emotions were running very high! Throughout the entire day, no job ever seemed too big or too small. Everything was handled with so much care and professionalism, and several of our family members and guests even commented on how wonderfully organised everything felt and how fantastic Lisa was.

What struck us most was that we simply didn’t have to think about anything. We dropped everything off at Gaynes Park a few days beforehand with very little direction needed from us, and when we saw it all brought together on the wedding day, everything was exactly where it needed to be. We never had to think about timings, logistics or what was supposed to happen next. We were able to completely switch off and enjoy every second because everything was being taken care of behind the scenes.

After the ceremony, everything continued to flow so smoothly. There were never any awkward gaps or moments where it felt as though guests were waiting around – if anything, we just wish we could have made every part last longer!

Our drinks reception was fantastic, with plenty of drinks for everyone from the beer drum alongside Pimm’s and gin fizz cocktails, as well as canapés. One little touch I particularly appreciated was that we were given our own tray of canapés as the bride and groom so we didn’t miss out while we were busy talking and having photographs taken! That sums up how attentive the team were throughout the day – we always felt incredibly well looked after and very special.

The food deserves a review of its own! Our guests commented throughout the day on how incredible it was, with several telling us it was the best wedding food they’d ever had.

A special thank you has to go to the catering team for helping us personalise our menu. Although we chose from Gaynes Park’s existing options for most of the day (and there are SO many amazing choices that choosing just one of each was incredibly difficult!), they were also wonderfully flexible in helping us incorporate some Ghanaian influence into our wedding. We added an extra canapé of kelewele and created a bespoke evening dish of jollof rice with jerk chicken and prawns. It was absolutely delicious and our guests loved it! Being able to bring that part of us into the menu made the day feel even more personal and special.

Our wedding breakfast was equally fantastic. The staff serving us were so lovely, friendly and professional, everything was served promptly and once again we had so many guests coming up to us afterwards to tell us how delicious the food had been.

Later, we headed back into the Walled Garden for cocktail hour, which was the most beautiful backdrop during golden hour. Our Aperol Spritzes and spicy margaritas went down extremely well while everyone had a chance to mingle, have another drink and enjoy the gardens. Meanwhile, the Mill Barn was seamlessly transformed ready for the evening reception, and then we could simply head back inside and party the night away!

We booked the Coach House for our closest family and friends to stay with us on the night of the wedding, which I would highly recommend. It was such a lovely way to end the day together. When we came back after the celebrations, everyone was offered tea or coffee and could also order an aperitif if they wanted. The lady looking after us at this point (whose name I unfortunately don’t know!) was so lovely and friendly and made everything feel incredibly relaxed. It gave us a chance to sit together, come down from the excitement and reflect on what had been the most amazing day.

The rooms themselves were beautiful and so comfortable – exactly what we all needed after a very full day of celebrating! The following morning, we all came together again for breakfast, with both continental and full English options available. Being able to wake up and have breakfast with some of our closest family and friends was such a lovely final part of the experience.

If you’re considering booking the Coach House for the night of your wedding, we would absolutely recommend it. It really extended that special wedding feeling into the following morning and was the perfect way to round off the most incredible day.

It is genuinely difficult to put into words how perfect our experience at Gaynes Park was. The venue itself is breathtaking, but what makes it truly special is the people behind it. Every single member of staff we interacted with – both during our many visits beforehand and on the wedding day itself – was kind, professional and incredibly good at what they do.

One final enormous thank you has to go to Lisa for everything she did, much of which I’m sure happened completely behind the scenes without us ever even knowing about it. The fact that we could simply enjoy our wedding without thinking about a single logistical detail is testament to her and the entire Gaynes Park team.

If we could do it all over again tomorrow, we genuinely would. It was more than we ever imagined our wedding could be and truly was the best day of our lives.

Myself and my wife got married at Gaynes park in August and we cannot recommend it enough. Victoria was looking after our wedding and she was fantastic. Very responsive, great at recommending ideas if requested and she went over and above for us. We both agree that the day could not have gone any better and would love to return as a guest one day. The outside ceremony was very intimate with the seats being set out so that everyone is close enough to feel apart of the moment. Food was great and bar was always well managed.

As soon as we arrived, we fell in love with how beautiful the venue was, with its unique spaces and gorgeous Orangery! After a shaky start with the food allergy options, we had the most spectacular and tasty food. We would like to say a special thank you to all of the chefs working at our Wedding!

We had the absolute best day of our lives at Gaynes Park!! The venue is stunning, the food is delicious and the staff could not be more friendly and attentive. We have been overwhelmed with compliments from our guests about the venue and how well the day ran. Victoria, our co-ordinator, made every step of the planning process feel so easy and seamless which we’ll be forever grateful for. Wish we could do it all again but instead we just hope to be able to experience Gaynes Park as guests one day instead ❤️

Planning a wedding can be stressful, but our wedding co ordinaries Victoria made the whole process feel so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble for Victoria and the team, and we felt completely supported every step of the way.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is beautiful, well-organised, and filled with people who truly care, we cannot recommend Gaynes Park highly enough. Thank you for giving us the most incredible day of our lives.

Unfortunately I am writing a bad review as treatment by the stuff on our wedding day cannot be overlooked. Due to unforeseen circumstances our venue wedding coordinator was unable to turn up on our wedding day. I understand situations like this cannot be helped but what followed was disorder, rudeness from the staff, mistreatment of our property and a conscious non delivery on the services of we paid for.

We have been extremely reasonable in our communication to the venue regarding multiple instances on the day. Our only request was we were paid back £305 for the main meals not served to our guests. The venues argument is they didn’t know they needed to on the day (despite our request noted in writing) and the groom should have come up and told them (on his wedding day?). In correspondence since and they admitted wrong doing to many instances but still refused a refund for services not provided that we literally paid for.

Book Gaynes park if you want a beautiful wedding venue, but don’t take for granted the fact you could be unfortunate like us. Please proceed with caution. In my opinion you can find another beautiful venue out there with helpful staff. Risking your wedding day and making it even more stressful is not worth the risk.

(If they suggest they are reaching out to us to resolve, this is untrue. We are now at the stage of no resolution despite being in communication with relevant parties)

As a bride, this venue will always hold such special memories for us. From the moment we went to view Gaynes Park, everything felt warm, calm and genuinely cared for.

The setting is beautiful, the team are thoughtful and attentive, and the whole day flowed effortlessly allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the day.

It also felt incredibly special on a personal level. My husband Phil is from Derbyshire, and there was something about this place that instantly made it feel like home, familiar and welcoming in a way that meant a great deal to us both.

Now, as a photographer and content creator working in the wedding industry, I see venues very differently, and that perspective only deepens my appreciation.

Behind the scenes, the organisation, communication and support for suppliers is excellent. There’s a real understanding of how a wedding day needs to function, not just how it looks.

From a creative point of view, it’s a joy to work in well-considered and beautiful spaces and a calm, supportive team that understands how important timing and flow are for capturing real moments.

What guests experience out front is just as strong as what happens quietly behind the scenes.

I recommend this venue wholeheartedly to couples looking for a heartfelt, effortless wedding day, and as a supplier who genuinely values working with venues and teams that share the same care, standards and heart for what they do.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Gaynes Park! The venue itself is stunning, the different areas have been carefully thought out. The staff members are fantastic, from our first visit they were very accommodating to our ideas – we felt valued and the meetings were always about how they could bring our vision to life. Freddie, our events manager, was fab and was always there to help us before and on the day. The food was absolutely delicious, everyone really enjoyed the wood oven pizzas for the evening food. The cocktails were great too. We shared such an amazing day with our family and friends at Gaynes Park!

We got married at Gaynes Park in October and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything ran seamlessly, and a huge part of that was thanks to Victoria, our wedding coordinator at the venue. She was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and on top of every part of the day, which meant we could just relax and enjoy it.
The food and drink was absolutely outstanding - both the canapés and the wedding breakfast. Several of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they’d ever had, and we completely agree!
The venue is beautiful, on the day we had a lot of wind and some clouds but it still looks great in all the pictures. There’s a lot of lovely space both indoors and outdoors, so it is a good venue choice whatever the weather.
Overall, Gaynes Park exceeded our expectations in every way. We’d highly recommend it to anyone considering it as a wedding venue.
