We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful and quirky venue for our big day. The team at Donington Park Farmhouse were extremely helpful, welcoming, and made us feel like we were the only couple to be getting married there. The team were very accommodating with all our requests, sharing ideas, and tailoring the day to feel uniquely ours.

Donington Park Farmhouse was an excellent wedding venue. They looked after us really carefully through the entire run-up and on the day itself. They obviously know what they are doing really well, and this translates into a super professional and tailored experience.

The venue itself is gorgeous! The hitching barn is such a lovely place to get married, and dance the night away. The courtyard makes for the perfect outside space. The bar area is both large and cosy. The surrounding countryside is picturesque. And they have 20 fantastic on-site bedrooms, which was a must-have for me personally.

They have a separate dining room, so there's no waiting around while they reorganise rooms. The on-site kitchen is fantastic, and their food is excellent and all local (check out their venison!). They go out of their way to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for, and they were happy to customise the dining experience to our needs. The drinks packages were perfect for our needs.

The staff were excellent, both our wedding planner and the lady in charge of us into the evening were excellent, and we felt super looked after.

It was on the top-end of our budget, but we truly believe it was worth every penny. We had the most perfect best day ever!

Due to a change in personal circumstances, we sadly won’t be able to go ahead with our wedding next year and are hoping to help the venue find another couple to take over our date.

Where do we start…

Day one. We had a whole schedule of venues and places to see prior to securing a booking for a venue. This was first in the list and last place we visited, we just fell in love immediately. We walked in on a show round with Alicja and we both knew straight away that this was the one to choose. The scenic fittings the country looking bar area, the quirky pig sties, the huge threshing barn and the beautiful bedrooms! The biggest factor being the numbers they could work with! It truly took our breath away. We booked it!
Several months pass by and with emails and visits we got excited and we got planned and we were ready for the big day.
THE BIG DAY…….
From the bride staying the night before so she could be relaxed and ready to the groom arriving in the morning with setting up those last minute touches. The place was immaculate. The staff were there straight away the hostess was on hand with every question and ensuring we were ready to DO THE I DOS! We had 100 day guests followed by another 150 evening guests and we packed this place out. It was amazing! Every single guest commented on how beautiful the venue was the perfect scenic place for such a beautiful wedding! A perfect spot with ample space and plenty of refreshments enjoyed by a lot of guests! The staff worked tirelessly the entire shift and they really didn’t get a minute.. as a bride and groom we never felt the pressure we never were left to one side we were reassured by the hostesses we were kept to times we were welcomed and entranced to all key points through the day and night. We were cared for incredibly and just felt so at ease even on handover from the day host to the evening host it was seamless! The owner was available at multiple points through the day and was always checking on us both! Even at the very end when all had gone and before we left for bed Jack was there for that final conversation. Just THANK YOU!
THE NEXT DAY.
Breakfast in the main hotel was fantastic the hostess Laura was superb from special requests to first aid on sore heads and achy feet she shined so bright that every single guest that stayed the night made comment on her and she was exactly what everyone could of asked for that next morning!
We went to inside to help clear up and BAM.. it was already spotless and all our things and belongings delicately boxed up ready for us to take away it was brilliant! Again Jack and Alicja both there to have that final conversation and a thank you from both and a thank you from ourselves!
We will be forever grateful for creating such a most memorable and wonderful wedding day it really was out of this world and we never ever wanted it to end! For that we will cherish in our hearts forever! Thank you all the team and everyone involved!

The wedding team are incredible - we didn’t really need to have any more contact with them other than the planned meetings because they make sure everything is covered! They adapted and were able to accommodate the things we wanted which made our day even special. Our wedding took part on one of the hottest days in July and they allowed the DJ to move to patio so we could party outside - absolutely incredible. We have had lots of feedback about how beautiful the venue was, how the nice the food was and especially how well dietary needs were catered for. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

I know everyone thinks their wedding was the best - but I really believe ours was! And a massive part of that was due to our beautiful venue, Donington Park Farmhouse. We always wanted a cosy winter wedding, and this stunning venue was just perfect for it. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the cosy bar area with its array of comfy seating and crackling fire place. We chose to have our ceremony in the breathtaking Threshing Barn which was the perfect backdrop to our wintry wedding. The venue has lots of comfy seating areas so kids can find comfy corners to relax whilst grown ups fill the dance floor in the evening. Our band were thrilled with the big stage and the acoustics in the barn. It was all just perfect!

When we first visited Donington Park Farmhouse, we knew it would be our perfect venue. To make this even better, the staff who work there have been outstanding. We have had constant contact from the events team, especially Alicja, who answered all our questions and responded quickly to emails. Milly ran our day and she was fantastic, regularly checking in with myself and the groom to check we were having a great day. She went above and beyond, even sitting with a page boy who fell asleep so that his parents could join us for group photos.

We had a lot of picky eaters and children at our wedding, but the food was outstanding. We’ve had so many compliments on the wedding breakfast (we went for the BBQ) and on the evening buffet. I loved the Pig Sties for our wedding breakfast - it was quirky and cosy and there was lots of space for all guests. The bar area was beautiful and guests said the drinks were reasonably priced. We could play our own playlists in each room too! Breakfast the next morning was equally delicious - we had very happy guests.

The venue is gorgeous, set in the beautiful countryside with stunning views all around. Having so many rooms available on site was a huge bonus, and our guests said their rooms were all cosy, clean and spacious. In addition, East Midlands airport is an 8 minute drive away so any guests who needed accommodation offsite were spoilt for choice. Furthermore, the car park was huge!

There were loads of outdoor areas and stunning courtyards for summer weddings as well if that’s your style. Honestly could not recommend this venue enough! I’m just so sad it’s all over!

We recently got married at Donington Park Farmhouse and we had the best day! Throughout the whole planning process they were always there for anything we needed and the day went off without a hitch…even the sun came out for us in October! We’re so glad we picked Donington, the venue is so naturally beautiful we didn’t need to add too many decorations.

My wife and I got married here in June, honestly we can't express how incredible it was. The perfect day. The venue is stunningly beautiful and the staff are incredible. The rooms are also luxurious and spacious. We had several meetings on the run up to the wedding where it was clear they were more than happy to do what it takes to make our day special. No request was too much and their flexibility was brilliant. Not something we had experience when speaking to other venues. They were incredibly organised and professional from the first look round until the doors closed at the end of our wedding day. They helped the day run very smoothly and ensured everyone knew what was going on and that all the guests were happy and having a great time while keeping any stress away from myself and the bride (not that there was any). They made sure myself and my wife were fed and didn't want for anything. Honestly I can't rate the venue and the staff highly enough. I'll be recommending them to absolutely anyone that will listen. Massive thankyou from myself and my wife for everything.

We had a super evening the night before, followed by an amazing wedding day taking over the whole venue and every bedroom. Excellent service from the team who attentive and helpful leading up to the wedding and on the day this made the day even more special. Absolutely brilliant food and service plus superb entertainment in the evening enjoyed by everyone. Would and have recommended the venue to many as great location and unique property.

It was love at first sight... of course for meeting my now husband but also how we came to choose this venue. If you want a rustic themed wedding with gorgeous outdoor space and staff who can’t do enough for you, this is the place!
The staff here absolutely know what your wedding means to you and provide an exceptional service both on the day and in all the planning leading up to it.
The venue was also great value with the inclusive wedding party accommodation. Lastly the food was also delicious - the venue ticks every box and we received so many compliments about how lovely it was. I wish we could do it all again!

The most beautiful venue and on top of that, the most amazing staff. The girls that were there for me on the day were incredible and kept checking in to see if there was anything i needed. Throughout wedding planning, the team always responded in a timely manner and answered any questions we had. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire team. Donington Park Farmhouse will always have a special place in our hearts.

We had our wedding reception at Donington Park Farmhouse in June and it was truly the most perfect day. You spend a lot of time planning your dream wedding, it means so much to you, you live and breathe wedding planning every day in the lead up and you hope that by the time you hand it over to the staff, they will take as greater care of it as you have and we can honestly say, the staff at Donington really did. Our wedding planner Alicja helped with all the final details prior to our big day, and we felt we were in trusted hands by doing so. She was thorough and put lots of care into ensuring our day was as special as it was. On the day itself, the operations team were brilliant and made all the planning come to life and it really did go without a hitch! We look back on our day and couldn’t have wished for it to have gone any better, it had the seal of approval from our guests too.

Everything was honestly wonderful. The communication was perfect, nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t once feel worried or stressed about a thing because the staff at Donington are all so experienced and knowledgeable in all areas, they put us at ease from the go.
If you are thinking about having your special day at this venue.. DO IT! It’s so beautiful and we promise you won’t be disappointed!

Donnington park farmhouse is such a magical place we knew it was for us. We were made so welcome, all the staff made us feel at home and were always happy to help with anything, they are all so professional and always very responsive with any questions and keeping us updated with our big day, on the day of our wedding Millie was absolutely amazing from the moment I got there, she was making sure everything was going to plan and happy to help making sure all guests were happy and knew where they were going. She kept checking on me (bride) and asking if I needed anything. It is such a perfect place they really made our day
