The team at The Carriage Hall are all so lovely and professional- our day was literally perfect. It all ran so smoothly as they just know exactly what they are doing, nothing was too much trouble right from our first viewing to collecting our things the next day. So many guests commented on how amazing the food was, how friendly the staff were and what a lovely venue it was! Wish we could do it all again as it was literally the perfect day! Would 100% recommend the Carriage Hall!

We had the most magical wedding day at Mapperley Farm, we couldn’t have wanted for anymore from them. Rosie and her team were incredible, kept in contact with us from start to finish and was always there to answer any questions we had. There was a little hiccup on the wedding day regarding our DJ not bringing his lights and Rosie stepped in to help solve this straight away without us even knowing it had happened! This venue is extremely reasonably priced, and is 100% worth every single penny. Your wedding day can be tailored to how you want it, without any restrictions in place that we had seen at lots of other venues we looked at. This meant that all of our dreams could come true on our wedding day, it truly was incredible. We would recommend this venue to anyone, especially having your ceremony down in the woods as this was really really magical xxx

From the moment we considered the Olde barn for our wedding, we knew we had made the right choice. As the bride, I had a very clear vision of the atmosphere I wanted to create and Sharon and Lydia were both very considerate of my wishes. Throughout the process I found the team were incredibly helpful, supportive and professional. The Olde barn is great value for money and the food is first class, as is the service and we felt it was very good value for money. We would not hesitate in recommending the Olde barn for a wedding.

We got married at Donington Park Farmhouse on 29th July 2025 and would highly recommend this venue. Firstly, the venue is absolutely stunning. We loved the open square outside, along with the variety of beautiful rooms available for the ceremony. So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was, which meant so much to us. The staff were brilliant. Alicjia and the team were fantastic at communicating, and nothing was ever too much trouble — even down to small details about the food. They really helped make our day feel personal and special. We would highly, highly recommend this venue — we truly loved it! Andy & Abi Glossop

What can we say, we absolutely loved Elsham Hall as our venue. It is a truly beautiful place, from the gorgeous grounds, the beautiful buildings its just a fabulous setting. The recent renovations have really elevated the venue but has not taken away from its historic structure. There is a bridal prep room which is just beyond anything you could wish for, a wonderful space to get ready I was blown away. The venue comes with Heidi, well this lady is a game changer, she helped us plan and organise and made us feel like the most special couple. She really listened to us and appreciated what we wanted as a couple. She suggested great suppliers and we can not thank her enough!! We had the most amazing experience and have made some wonderful memories, thank you x

An absolutely beautiful venue. It gave a very elegant barn vibe with amazing natural lighting in the ceremony rooms for that magical feel. The accommodation for the bridal party the night before also gave that ‘second hen do’ vibe for a memorable night before the wedding. At the time of viewing there was a minimum ‘guest numbers’ that had to be met which was difficult for us as we wanted a more intimate wedding, we did ask if this could be met by a ‘minimum spend’ instead (I.e. spending more on food etc. to cover the smaller number of guests) but were told that wasn’t a possibility unfortunately

From the very beginning, the staff were incredible—highly knowledgeable, attentive, and they made sure every detail was handled with care. The food was absolutely delicious, and the selection of wines and drinks was truly second to none. We’re already looking forward to returning for a feast night! What’s especially wonderful is how well-maintained the venue is; the decor is so naturally stunning that it speaks for itself. We hardly had to add a thing. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our day.

From enquiry through to saying goodbye the day after our beautiful wedding the team at Granary Barn were absolutely amazing. The venue is stunning and was just the right size for us (56 daytime and 100 evening guests). Change over from ceremony, to wedding breakfast, to evening party was extremely slick. The staff were fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more support, guidance, professionalism and fun. Planning and prep was super easy and the day ran like clock work, because of this we enjoyed every moment. We couldn't recommend this place any more!!

Excellent value for money, we definitely got our monies worth and then some. The barn is stunning and neutrally decorated which even suited our rustic/gothic wedding theme so it's really easy to decorate to your own taste. It is on a working farm site but the event area can be closed off to allow for safety and intimacy, throughout the event there wasn't once a disturbance from the farm. The food was absolutely delicious too, it was so hard to choose from their extensive dessert list but we opted for a sit-down BBQ with the sticky toffee pudding and lemon merigne roulade for the wedding breakfast and a small finger buffet later in the evening and everyone loved it! The accommodation (2 cottages) are perfectly cosy but spacious and stunning, we hope to return for a little anniversary break next year. The team are so lovely, laid back and helpful in every way, they worked with us every step of the way to make sure our day was everything we wanted and were all round just fantastic. I'd highly recommend their services for any event, their pricing is certainly competitive within the industry but we didn't find that we had to compromise on anything as a result of spending less. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the venue and the team throughout the stay and we are slightly gutted the day is over as it was just so wonderful ❤️

This venue blew us away from start to finish. Simon and Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. The perfect balance with being on hand and allowing us to set up. The day itself went to perfection. We honestly would not change a single thing. Do not waste any time booking this venue you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Simon, Sarah and your staff.
