The carriage hall is not only a beautiful venue but the staff from start to finish are faultless. They are so so helpful and supportive. There to answer all sorts of questions. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and the food was amazing too, all guests complimented how nice the food was!

We had the most magical wedding day at Mapperley Farm, we couldn’t have wanted for anymore from them. Rosie and her team were incredible, kept in contact with us from start to finish and was always there to answer any questions we had. There was a little hiccup on the wedding day regarding our DJ not bringing his lights and Rosie stepped in to help solve this straight away without us even knowing it had happened! This venue is extremely reasonably priced, and is 100% worth every single penny. Your wedding day can be tailored to how you want it, without any restrictions in place that we had seen at lots of other venues we looked at. This meant that all of our dreams could come true on our wedding day, it truly was incredible. We would recommend this venue to anyone, especially having your ceremony down in the woods as this was really really magical xxx

We got married at Donington Park Farmhouse on 29th July 2025 and would highly recommend this venue. Firstly, the venue is absolutely stunning. We loved the open square outside, along with the variety of beautiful rooms available for the ceremony. So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was, which meant so much to us. The staff were brilliant. Alicjia and the team were fantastic at communicating, and nothing was ever too much trouble — even down to small details about the food. They really helped make our day feel personal and special. We would highly, highly recommend this venue — we truly loved it! Andy & Abi Glossop

What can we say, we absolutely loved Elsham Hall as our venue. It is a truly beautiful place, from the gorgeous grounds, the beautiful buildings its just a fabulous setting. The recent renovations have really elevated the venue but has not taken away from its historic structure. There is a bridal prep room which is just beyond anything you could wish for, a wonderful space to get ready I was blown away. The venue comes with Heidi, well this lady is a game changer, she helped us plan and organise and made us feel like the most special couple. She really listened to us and appreciated what we wanted as a couple. She suggested great suppliers and we can not thank her enough!! We had the most amazing experience and have made some wonderful memories, thank you x

An absolutely beautiful venue. It gave a very elegant barn vibe with amazing natural lighting in the ceremony rooms for that magical feel. The accommodation for the bridal party the night before also gave that ‘second hen do’ vibe for a memorable night before the wedding. At the time of viewing there was a minimum ‘guest numbers’ that had to be met which was difficult for us as we wanted a more intimate wedding, we did ask if this could be met by a ‘minimum spend’ instead (I.e. spending more on food etc. to cover the smaller number of guests) but were told that wasn’t a possibility unfortunately

Hazel Gap Wedding Venue Review We got married at Hazel Gap in April 2026, and it was truly the best day of my life. I still struggle to put into words just how perfect everything was from start to finish. The Venue Hazel Gap itself is absolutely stunning. Every space is beautifully designed and immaculately presented, creating an atmosphere that feels luxurious and warm. From the moment we arrived, it felt incredibly special and set the tone for the entire day. The Food The food exceeded every expectation we had. We chose the feast menu and attended a feast night beforehand with our best men and women I cannot recommend this enough. The food genuinely rivals (and even beats) many five star restaurants. Having everything cooked in view of the bar adds such a unique and exciting touch. The sheer amount of food amazed our guests, and sitting at the top table watching people’s reactions as the dishes arrived (and then seeing their faces when they tasted it) was such a joy. It was flawless. Our wedding party and I will absolutely be booking more feast nights in the future simply because the food is that good. The Team I honestly cannot thank the Hazel Gap team enough. They are true experts at what they do, and this was evident throughout booking, planning, and on the day itself. Their communication, flexibility, professionalism, and genuine care were all 10/10 absolute perfection. I work just 10 minutes away from the venue, so I visited around 20 times in total, and every single visit I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. On the day, we were treated like VIPs and guided effortlessly through everything. The little touches were amazing even down to printing my speech and placing it neatly at my place setting. After 18 months of planning, I was overwhelmed by how easy and stress free the day felt. A special shout out has to go to Channon, who kept everything running perfectly. From welcoming us, organising buttonholes, guiding the wedding party down the aisle, and keeping the schedule on track everything was handled seamlessly. At one point a guest arrived with an unplanned plus one, and before I’d even finished my drink, it had already been sorted without any stress coming back to us. That sums up the team perfectly: solving problems before you even know they exist. I can’t believe I felt nervous beforehand, because the day itself was utterly flawless. Hazel Gap gave us a wedding day beyond anything we could have imagined, and we will be forever grateful. If you’re considering Hazel Gap book it. You won’t regret a single second.

From enquiry through to saying goodbye the day after our beautiful wedding the team at Granary Barn were absolutely amazing. The venue is stunning and was just the right size for us (56 daytime and 100 evening guests). Change over from ceremony, to wedding breakfast, to evening party was extremely slick. The staff were fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more support, guidance, professionalism and fun. Planning and prep was super easy and the day ran like clock work, because of this we enjoyed every moment. We couldn't recommend this place any more!!

What a gorgeous venue!! My husband and I got married here on the 10th of April and it was the most perfect day! The team at stretton manor barn are amazing, they were so helpful with anything and everything. We booked our wedding in July 2023 so a good couple of years before our set date. Stretton was the one and only venue we viewed as we instantly fell in love with it on our visit and just knew that was where we were getting married. Amanda initially took our booking, she went through everything with us to the finest details, answered anything questions we had and was just the loveliest lady. We visited back to the venue in April 24 to get a feel for it at the time of year we would be getting married and again was just blown away. The staff really was amazing on the run up to the big day and more importantly on the big day itself! Heidi was our wedding coordinator and I cannot thank her enough, the day just ran so smoothly and if there was any hiccups I didn’t know about them, it was a dream. Also Kate you was a star and so helpful to myself and my guests. Both Heidi and Kate looked after us so well on our day, always checking in and making sure everything was going as we hoped. Now the food, wow! I would go back every week just to eat the food! It was fantastic, my guests were constantly complimenting the food and said it was the best they have had. The chocolate brownies were a big hit with the kiddies too and my husband lol. Big thank you to the DJ dean, listened to what I had asked for, always checked with myself before playing a requested song from guests which I really appreciated and gave such a great vibe to the night. All the staff that played a part in our day we are so thankful to them all as the day would not have ran so smoothly if it was not for all of them. I could go on and on about how amazing this venue is but just want to really say the biggest thank you the day was so special. Mr&Mrs Wray x

This venue blew us away from start to finish. Simon and Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. The perfect balance with being on hand and allowing us to set up. The day itself went to perfection. We honestly would not change a single thing. Do not waste any time booking this venue you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Simon, Sarah and your staff. Excellent value for money, we definitely got our monies worth and then some. The barn is stunning and neutrally decorated which even suited our rustic/gothic wedding theme so it's really easy to decorate to your own taste. It is on a working farm site but the event area can be closed off to allow for safety and intimacy, throughout the event there wasn't once a disturbance from the farm. The food was absolutely delicious too, it was so hard to choose from their extensive dessert list but we opted for a sit-down BBQ with the sticky toffee pudding and lemon merigne roulade for the wedding breakfast and a small finger buffet later in the evening and everyone loved it! The accommodation (2 cottages) are perfectly cosy but spacious and stunning, we hope to return for a little anniversary break next year. The team are so lovely, laid back and helpful in every way, they worked with us every step of the way to make sure our day was everything we wanted and were all round just fantastic. I'd highly recommend their services for any event, their pricing is certainly competitive within the industry but we didn't find that we had to compromise on anything as a result of spending less. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the venue and the team throughout the stay and we are slightly gutted the day is over as it was just so wonderful ❤️
