The carriage hall is not only a beautiful venue but the staff from start to finish are faultless. They are so so helpful and supportive. There to answer all sorts of questions. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and the food was amazing too, all guests complimented how nice the food was!

We had the most incredible wedding at Whaplode Manor and would highly recommend the venue and team to anyone thinking of getting married in Lincolnshire! From the first viewing we knew we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The venue itself is so beautiful and well-decorated, which saved us a lot of time and effort as the venue is very much ready to go. One of our favourite aspects is that there's plenty of space and room for people to mingle, with each area offering something different. The team were incredibly efficient and organised; the whole process was completely stress free and they were very easy-going. Everything ran so smoothly and we had lots of compliments throughout the day. Our party went on until about 12am and the team at Whaplode Manor worked so hard until the last minute to make sure we were all OK. The bar has a lot of options and every guest was on the dance floor until the end. Breakfast the next day was also fabulous (and much needed!) with all our wedding bits collected neatly ready for us to pick up and take home. If you are thinking of getting married then do not hesitate to book this incredible venue and have the best day of your life!

We booked Mapperely Farm for our wedding on 4th July 2026. We first met with the owners Rosie and Sam 2 years ago. It was the first wedding venue that we had visited, and didn't know what to expect, but Rosie and Sam put us at ease straight away. They gave us advice, shared their experience with weddings, and encouraged us to look at other venues before making a decision. However it was clear after visiting 2 other venues that Mapperely Farm was the one for us. It was beautiful, set in the rural countryside, had accomodation on site, reasonably priced, backed with the support of the owners, and we had the ability to do whatever we liked with the day. Allowing us to make it a day unique to us, booking a pizza buffet, an ice cream bike, photos in their woods, chats with the sheep, family baked goods and more. Thank you so much to Rosie and Sam for making our day so perfect, taking us through it every step of the way, and making it personal to us! We will be sure to have another event there again in the future :)

We got married at Donington Park Farmhouse on 29th July 2025 and would highly recommend this venue. Firstly, the venue is absolutely stunning. We loved the open square outside, along with the variety of beautiful rooms available for the ceremony. So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was, which meant so much to us. The staff were brilliant. Alicjia and the team were fantastic at communicating, and nothing was ever too much trouble — even down to small details about the food. They really helped make our day feel personal and special. We would highly, highly recommend this venue — we truly loved it! Andy & Abi Glossop

What can we say, we absolutely loved Elsham Hall as our venue. It is a truly beautiful place, from the gorgeous grounds, the beautiful buildings its just a fabulous setting. The recent renovations have really elevated the venue but has not taken away from its historic structure. There is a bridal prep room which is just beyond anything you could wish for, a wonderful space to get ready I was blown away. The venue comes with Heidi, well this lady is a game changer, she helped us plan and organise and made us feel like the most special couple. She really listened to us and appreciated what we wanted as a couple. She suggested great suppliers and we can not thank her enough!! We had the most amazing experience and have made some wonderful memories, thank you x

What a wonderful wedding day we had at Swancar! From start to finish, the process was made easy with Tammy as our wedding planner. We fell in love with the venue when we first saw it, and two years later on our wedding day we realised we had made the right choice. Couldn't fault Swancar for anything- the food was delicious and large portions, the staff were friendly and helpful including the wonderful Tammy who strive to respond quickly and answer all questions we had via email during the planning process. The location is beautiful and so special being an exclusive venue, allowing you to have the full attention of the staff on your day. They accommodated everything that we asked for and made our day magical. Definitely value for money and would recommend to anyone in Nottinghamshire.

I just want to thank Hazel gap and their team for making our wedding so special! We had Rosie as our day manager and Beth as our night manager and they were brilliant. They couldn’t do enough to make our day special! We had some very picky eaters and Hazel Gap accommodated to our requirements, and the food! Our guests still talk about it and wish they could take it with them! I will always recommend Hazel Gap to anyone who wants the most beautiful venue and want to be treated like royalty on your wedding day! Thank you so much for making our wedding a day to never forget.

We cannot recommend The Granary Barn enough. It is the most beautiful venue with incredible rustic charm. One of biggest deciding factors for choosing this venue was the gorgeous cottage accommodation available with the venue. We really liked the idea of making a weekend of our celebration with our closest friends and family. Carol and Niki were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding day was perfect and we got so many comments from the guests about how amazing the venue was. It is also set in the most beautiful grounds, giving us some great photos to remember the day by. If you're looking for a rustic wedding venue that is great value for money and gives you real flexibility to put your own stamp on your wedding day, then The Granary Barn is the venue for you.

This venue blew us away from start to finish. Simon and Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. The perfect balance with being on hand and allowing us to set up. The day itself went to perfection. We honestly would not change a single thing. Do not waste any time booking this venue you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Simon, Sarah and your staff. Excellent value for money, we definitely got our monies worth and then some. The barn is stunning and neutrally decorated which even suited our rustic/gothic wedding theme so it's really easy to decorate to your own taste. It is on a working farm site but the event area can be closed off to allow for safety and intimacy, throughout the event there wasn't once a disturbance from the farm. The food was absolutely delicious too, it was so hard to choose from their extensive dessert list but we opted for a sit-down BBQ with the sticky toffee pudding and lemon merigne roulade for the wedding breakfast and a small finger buffet later in the evening and everyone loved it! The accommodation (2 cottages) are perfectly cosy but spacious and stunning, we hope to return for a little anniversary break next year. The team are so lovely, laid back and helpful in every way, they worked with us every step of the way to make sure our day was everything we wanted and were all round just fantastic. I'd highly recommend their services for any event, their pricing is certainly competitive within the industry but we didn't find that we had to compromise on anything as a result of spending less. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the venue and the team throughout the stay and we are slightly gutted the day is over as it was just so wonderful ❤️
