About the venue
Whaplode Manor is a beautiful wedding barn located on a private Georgian estate, dating back to 1737, situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens near Spalding.
The 19th century barn frames two sides of a breathtaking, flower-filled courtyard, offering a beautiful and intimate backdrop for your celebration. Your guests will have the freedom to explore and enjoy a variety of inviting spaces within the venue, from the light-filled conservatory, cosy and traditional lounge and an upstairs gallery featuring vaulted beams with twinkling lights. And when it’s time to celebrate, there’s a spacious dance floor and a fully stocked bar waiting to keep the party going.

You’ll be looked after by an experienced and dedicated team, ensuring your wedding day is everything you imagined and more. When you choose Whaplode Manor for your big day, you’re not just booking a venue—you’re becoming part of a story that’s been cherished for generations.
Complete exclusivity for your special day
The space comfortably seats up to 90 guests for your onsite ceremony and wedding breakfast and can host up to 250 guests for a lively evening reception.
You’ll enjoy full, exclusive use of the venue throughout your celebration. Check-in begins at 3pm the day before your wedding, giving you plenty of time to add those all-important finishing touches. There is recently refurbished, on-site accommodation available for 11 guests (including the happy couple) in the converted stables. After the big day, you can ease into the morning with a relaxed check-out at 11am, following a delicious continental breakfast served for you and your overnight guests.
Weddings are available to book on a Saturday or Wednesday.

Fantastic wedding venue!
From the first viewing we knew we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The venue itself is so beautiful and well-decorated, which saved us a lot of time and effort as the venue is very much ready to go. One of our favourite aspects is that there's plenty of space and room for people to mingle, with each area offering something different.
The team were incredibly efficient and organised; the whole process was completely stress free and they were very easy-going. Everything ran so smoothly and we had lots of compliments throughout the day.
Our party went on until about 12am and the team at Whaplode Manor worked so hard until the last minute to make sure we were all OK. The bar has a lot of options and every guest was on the dance floor until the end. Breakfast the next day was also fabulous (and much needed!) with all our wedding bits collected neatly ready for us to pick up and take home.
