At Runa Farm, relaxed Spanish influences augment the venue's rich farming heritage to create earthy, elegant, and beautifully immersive spaces. The ornate tented ceiling, smooth polished stone walls, statement staircase, and shimmering lanterns of the Runa Farm Chapel combine to create a wonderfully ethereal effect.
The Old Barn is the perfect setting for eating, drinking, and merriment. This delightful timber and exposed stone building is brimming with character and is flanked on two sides by picture-perfect private terraces that will make you and your guests feel like you're living in a dream. The best day ever!
The venue itself though was next level and what made it was the staff! Ian and the team took care of everything we could have wanted and made our vision come to life. The food was nothing short of fantastic, the organisation seamless and the decor everything we could have imagined. Nothing was too much trouble or too tall an order. Our day was a dream, stress free and utter joy! Truly the happiest day of our lives and we’ll be eternally grateful to everyone for their input on our unforgettable day.
Exceptional venue and staff!
The staff at Runa are equally impressive. Every single person we met was friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we hoped for. They are all a credit to Runa.
A special mention must go to Kenzie, our wedding coordinator. She was incredible from start to finish, communicative, organised, and regularly checking in. Thanks to her, we always felt everything was in hand.
On the day itself, Amy, our wedding manager, was truly amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and her calm, relaxed manner really helped to ease my nerves and take away the overwhelm that every bride feels. Alongside Tommy our wonderful master of ceremonies, they kept the day flowing smoothly and beautifully.
We also want to thank Emma from the accommodation team—so welcoming, helpful, and attentive to our guests’ needs. Everyone felt well looked after and happy with their stay.
What we didn’t expect was for our day to take an emotional turn when our dog, who was meant to be part of our celebration was reported missing by our dog walker. We had to leave the evening reception to search for him, and it was incredibly distressing. During this difficult time, the staff truly went above and beyond.
A heartfelt shout-out to Aimee from the bar. She supported our guests brilliantly, ensured the party continued as best it could, and many commented on how fabulous she was. Both Aimee and Amy even helped share media posts to support the search for our dog, especially as we weren’t local to the area. Thanks to the incredible community effort, he was found the next day.
The support we received from Amy, Kenzie and the team during and after the wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. We are deeply grateful to them and all the staff from the Runa Farm team. You are all invaluable and a true credit to the venue.
Thank you for making our day magical, and for being there when we needed you most.
Wedding of dreams and amazing venue
We fell in love with the venue as soon as we seen it and had an idea in our heads of what it would all be like on the day. Runa Farm made sure it was exactly as we wanted with ease. The day ran smoothly from start to finish with a fast flowing wedding breakfast, and a brilliant MOC.
All the food was amazing, the drinks were delicious and the venue is effortlessly beautiful.
All the staff from the bar staff, wedding co-ordinators, servers etc were so professional and on point. We literally cannot complain about anything.
Nothing was too big or too small for them. For example, at the meeting the night before the wedding with the wedding co-ordinator Amy, she asked us what drink we would like waiting for us just after the ceremony on the mezzanine and my husband asked for a Guinness. Amy mentioned they no longer have any Guinness on site and he remarked “ah that’s a shame” before requesting something else. The next day on the mezzanine was a pint of Guinness waiting for him and it was supplied throughout the rest of the day. We have no idea how or when they got it but we were so impressed. It was that sort of small attention to details that just made the day perfect and what sets Runa Farm apart.
I would highly recommend the venue to anyone considering it. It really is perfect and you won’t regret it.

The venue and grounds are outstanding , the value for money and the packages on offer are fantastic. The food was delicious, the farmhouse is amazing and well worth staying in the night before the wedding! The honeymoon suite, the grounds… the list is endless it was all beautiful.

October 2025 wedding
The most amazing wedding experience
On the day our experience just continued to be amazing. The onsite, on the day wedding coordinators were excellent and seen to our every need. Aimee had a meeting with us to fine tune all the details the day before then Ian and Aimee looked after us both on the day brilliantly.
Although we had to ask guests travel a little to Runa Farm (which was our only concern when booking) every single one said how amazing the day was and had the most amazing time.
The most aesthetically pleasing venue for amazing photos as well which is always nice to look back on.
Anyone booking a wedding - we would totally recommend having your big day at Runa Farm. You won't regret it.
The Most Perfect Day
We came to visit Runa Farm in October 2023 and instantly fell in love. Ian showed us round and we instantly build a connection. We loved everything about the venue, the flow of the rooms, how well thought out everything was and how there is only one wedding held a day.
We booked our Wedding for 10th October 2025. We visited Runa several times between booking and our wedding date, bringing parents to view and other times just to enjoy the incredible place by staying over and enjoying food in the smithy. Each time we came we were made to feel so special, we were made to feel like the only couple getting married there. Each time Ian ensured to come and speak to us and answer any questions, we knew we needed him as our Master of Cermonies on the big day.
We had a few wedding coordinators early on, but once Eva took over the service was fab, there wasn’t any question unanswered. Eva was prompt and helpful and also so reassuring with any queries I had, especially leading up to our day.
On the day before our wedding, we were travelling to stay the Farmhouse, there was an issue with one of the showers. This was highlighted to us by Emma, and ensured this was resolved with complimentary cocktails delivered to the farmhouse and extra rooms available for us to use. We were given the night porters number and ensured we could contact him at any point.
The boys all stayed above the smithy and booked the gentleman’s lounge for the night before. Again, Emma ensured this all flowed perfectly and the boys were looked after. We would strongly recommend booking the lounge for the boys the night before to have a similar experience to the girls in the Farmhouse.
Breakfast for the Farmhouse was fab, we pre ordered this the night before and it was delivered complete and fresh the next morning.
Ian’s service on the day of our wedding was impeccable. There was nothing he didn’t assist with, calming the groom on the morning, ensuring everything was set up correctly and was especially helpful when our Mr & Mrs sign fell off the top table and broke, he whipped this away, glued and fixed it an brought it back. He even got the brides slippers on the night, so dancing could continue. The Brides favourite cocktail was no longer on the menu, but Ian had this made all day without us even requesting these. His service was faultless, and Ian was such an integral and special part of our day. We look forward to seeing him when we return to Runa for future stays and food.
Our Wedding Day was amazing and totally faultless. The venue is incredible but we strongly believe it the staff who make the day so perfect. There was nothing that couldn’t be done and we were made to feel so special on the day. We are so grateful to all the staff on the day who helped make the day so unforgettable. Special thanks to the Chefs, the food was incredible. We would strongly encourage other couples to choose the option of different choices for starters, mains and desserts on the wedding breakfast option. It allowed us to choose something we really wanted whilst also choosing options that would appeal to all. I was worried guests would end up with the wrong option, especially when there were dietary requirements too. How wrong I was, this was incredibly run with perfection, the food came out in order and promptly. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was.
We could talk about our day and Runa constantly but to summarise the venue is incredible, with a ceremony room like no other. We had an amazing and faultless day made this way by the incredible staff. We can’t thank you enough and look forward to many years of visiting Runa and reliving our Perfect Day. We would recommend Runa Farm to anyone as a Wedding Venue, and Ian will most definitely ensure you have the most incredible day. Thank You… Love The Pearsons XXX
Beautiful wedding at Runa Farm
The staff were super helpful throughout the day, they took the stress out of everything. The food was delicious and the day ran so smoothly.
The rooms are lovely, and we would recommend the farmhouse as it was such a lovely night for the bridal party.
The only niggle was that there wasn’t enough bar staff which meant a bit of a wait at the bar. However, it was good vibes all day!

The most perfect day!
We got married on Friday 18th July 2025 and we had the most perfect day from the night before staying in the Farmhouse with all my bridesmaids and Mam to the day itself. Ian - Master of Ceremonies is absolutely amazing at what he does. He’s an absolute credit to your team. Nothing is a bother even to getting me some flip flops during the wedding breakfast thank you so much for everything you did for us I honestly can’t thank you enough. To our amazing wedding co-ordinators thank you for everything from all the planning to our wedding day nothing was a bother. From setting up our ceremony room to wedding breakfast thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made my vision come to life with setting everything up. The food from the canapés to the three course meal to the evening sausage baps was exceptional hats off to the chef that day and all the catering team. All of our guests mentioned how nice the food was days later and how the beef melted in their mouths. Thank you to all the staff involved in our wedding day I can’t thank you enough. The venue itself is beautiful and I wouldn’t of picked anywhere to have our special day. If you’re looking for a venue I highly recommend Runa Farm they can’t do enough for you so thank you
