Facilities and Capacity
The Baronial Hall is the beating heart of Crondon Park, embracing an authentic Tudor barn aesthetic. Seating up to 148 people for a sit down meal and up to 220 for an evening reception.
Ceremony Options Indoors:
The Ryder Room is the designated indoor civil ceremony space for up to 100 people seated,
The Main Hall providing an option for higher guest numbers.
Ceremony Options Outdoors:
The Ryder Room Archway located underneath a floral canopy providing a romantic amphitheatre-style setting for warmer months,
The Fountain is the most recent addition located in the secluded garden.
Couples have private access to a beautiful half-acre garden beside the Baronial Hall where they take those all-important photographs, enjoy their drinks reception, garden games or simply giving guests a place to unwind. Why not ensure a spectacluare fireworks display to finish the evening off! We also offer our unlimited cocktail hour, perfect for when your evening guests are arriving.
A hugely unique part to the venue is the private room and powder area that can be used by our couples and their bridal parties. This exclusive area ensures privacy for touch-ups and moments of relaxation, allowing you to remain refreshed and confident without having to leave the hall. It's a thoughtful touch that many couples appreciate, as it keeps everything you need within easy reach.
We are also able to offer our couples night before accommodation, located separately from the Baronial Hall. It can sleep up to 8 people, has 2 dressing tables and private patio, allowing the bridal party to prepare themselves prior to the ceremony. For accommodation on the night of the wedding, we have our Granary Bridal Suite with private courtyard and parking, as well as 5 guest rooms within the main building.

Backed by over 30 years of hosting weddings, this attentive team promise to take care of every detail with a professional and organised approach from the first visit to the venue all the way through until your specail day. All catering is in-house with our head chef and team, using fresh produce to create delicious dishes to suit a range of tastes and dietary requirements. We are extremely flexible when catering to couples ideas for their special day. On the day, couples will receive the assistance of a dedicated Front of House Manager and team who will oversee the event. Fully-inclusive wedding costings are available to make the planning process easier for you with lots of items and services included as standard.

The most incredible venue and the most incredible staff!
From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to support us throughout the planning process, and on the day itself they were absolutely incredible. Every detail was tailored to our needs, and we felt completely looked after from start to finish.
A special thank you to Jo, our Front of House, who was simply amazing. She kept everything running smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of our day knowing everything was in safe hands.
The venue itself is stunning. Getting married outdoors in front of the fountain was a dream come true, and the beautiful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding.
The onsite accommodation was spotless and finished to a very high standard, making our stay and our guests stay comfortable and enjoyable. We also loved the cocktail hour, and the unlimited drinks packages offered fantastic value for money.
The food was absolutely sublime. So many of our guests commented on how amazing every course was, and we’re still receiving compliments about it now.
If you’re looking for a venue that offers exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, incredible food, and outstanding value for money, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be and more.
Amazing venue and staff, but keep your deposit
HOWEVER, our experience after the wedding was very disappointing. We were required to pay a £500 damage deposit before the wedding, with the understanding that it would be returned if there was no damage.
Two weeks after the wedding, we still hadn’t received the deposit back, so I contacted the venue. A few days later, they returned less than half of it without any explanation. When I called to ask why, I was told they would email me with the reason.
The explanation we received was that they had kept more than half of the deposit because some of the guest rooms required “extra cleaning.” This was very surprising, as there was no partying or damage in the rooms. Most of the bridal party got ready together in one room, and the other rooms were used simply for sleeping. We were never shown any evidence or given any details to justify such a significant deduction.
It’s a real shame because the venue and staff made our wedding day special. However, the way the deposit was handled afterwards left us feeling disappointed. If you’re booking Crondon Park, I would strongly recommend asking for clear written information about exactly what can result in deductions from the damage deposit, as our experience suggests you shouldn’t assume you’ll automatically receive it back, even if there is no obvious damage.

The perfect wedding venue — truly outstanding from start to finish
On the day itself they were hands on, calm, and completely in control, which meant we could relax and enjoy every moment.
They set out every single piece of decor I made with such care and precision, it genuinely felt like they valued our vision as much as we did.
One of the touches that meant the world to us was that they put canapes aside so we could enjoy them in the bridal suite after photos. Later in the evening, they even made sure we left with some of our cake and thank goodness they did, because I was starving at 5am and it absolutely saved me.
The food was outstanding, their DJ was amazing, and the whole day ran seamlessly because of how attentive and organised the team were. A big shout out to Jo who was our wedding day coordinator! There from the start to the finish!
We never once felt like we were asking too much or being a burden, the team made us feel completely looked after.
Honestly, they were perfect. If you’re considering this venue, book it. You’ll be in the safest, most caring hands.

What truly set Crondon Park apart, however, was the team. From start to finish, they were absolutely terrific – professional, personable, organised, and always one step ahead. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail ensured everything ran seamlessly.

Let’s not forget the cocktail hour, which was fantastic. The Crondon Park team were incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive throughout every aspect of the day.
A special shout-out to Kayleigh, our house manager for the day. She was absolutely spot on with everything, keeping both myself and Katie informed from start to finish and making sure the day ran perfectly.

Beautiful and Amazing Day!
Jo our front of house was amazing and the whole day ran so smoothly. The food was really good, so many guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! I (the bride) am celiac so needed gluten free and they were able to cater for my allergy no problem.
The lead up to our wedding was very smooth with constant communication from either Kara, Grace or Carly, all so lovely and helpful.
Nothing went wrong on our wedding day and I think that’s down to the amazing team at Crondon Park, thank you for making our day magical!

Could not fault this place!
From initial meeting with Carly, to our food tastings down to the day with Kayleigh, my only complaint is there’s only 24 hours in a day and I wish I could do it all again. The staff are so good at what they do, so friendly, professional, organised and much more.
If I could give this more than a 5 star review I 1000% would because the full team completely deserve it.
The best day of our lives!
We first met Debs who is an absolute ray of sunshine. We LOVE Debs! From the moment we walked in we knew this was where we wanted to get married. She made the entire booking process an absolute breeze!
In the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself we worked with Carly, our front of house manager and she truly is an absolute angel. She helped calm our nerves on the morning, kept everything running smoothly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Knowing she had everything under control meant we could relax (as much as possible) and enjoy every moment.
The staff on the day and evening were fantastic. The food was incredible, our guests are STILL talking about how good it was and the service was brilliant. One of our biggest worries was guests having to queue at the bar but there were always plenty of staff serving so nobody was ever waiting long.
The venue itself is stunning. Everything was decorated beautifully and the grounds are gorgeous. Crondon Park really did go above and beyond to bring our dream day to life. I can completely see why it’s been voted the best wedding venue in the UK.
If we could do it all again (I wish we could without the cost 🤣) we absolutely would and we would choose Crondon Park again in a heartbeat.
If you are thinking about getting married here, just do it. You won’t find better.

Meet the team
Hi I’m Kara, I’m the sales manager here at Crondon park. I have been working here since July 2018.
I started my wedding journey as a waitress at 16 years old and love being a part of this industry. Although I did leave for a few years, I always felt something was missing within my career path and jumped at the chance of returning.
Being in the wedding industry is a role that you have to love. You have to be passionate about the product/service you are trying to sell to potential couples and hopefully this comes across when I talk to my enquiries. As a venue we of course have packages/services that we generally keep to however we are extremely aware that every wedding day is special and unique to every couple in their own way, so we also like to be as flexible as possible and work with couples on their journey.
The one thing I thrive from is getting feedback from our couples that they have the best day ever. This is our purpose and why I love this job so much.
