Pangdean is a beautiful wedding venue just outside of Brighton that leaves you wanting for nothing. I literally cannot think of a single thing they could have done to improve our experience, from start to finish.

Nicky and her team are phenomenal. So obviously experts at what they do - you can tell in every interaction that they know what they are doing and that they have incredibly high standards for their events.

There is so much I could say about Pangdean, but if you’re considering whether they are right for you and your wedding, the highlights are:
- You don’t need a wedding planner. Theirs event planning team is second to none and considers everything
- You’ll fall in love with the place on your first visit. No matter the season, the barn is as beautiful as the garden and you can’t help but to adore it. Our first site visit they made us feel so welcome with no expectation or pressure that we would book with them, just an incredibly warm and informative visit
- They cater in-house, and the meal they prepared was one of the most delicious dinners I have ever eaten. We didn’t do a tasting (though I’m sure they would have arranged one if we had asked!) and we were so right to trust their catering team
- Their pay bar is fully stocked and reasonably priced
- The team’s communication is phenomenal - none of my questions went unanswered throughout the entire process
- Their organization, professionalism, flexibility and teamwork on the night was second to none. We wanted for nothing all night - my glass was never empty, there was always someone nearby who I could ask any question, yet no one was ever in the way and the whole team moved seamlessly across the space
- They organized decor in house and we didn’t have to lift a finger, and the place looked stunning. If you’re a couple that want a decor team you can trust to make the space look gorgeous without needing to spend ages in meetings about linens and cutlery and decor, Pangdean is for you
- They are incredibly competitively priced, and their packages are easily customizable. They were happy to curate an event plan that fit within our budget and didn’t cut corners on what mattered to us. The pricing structure is clear, transparent, sensible and flexible

I could go on. But this review is far too long! All in all, the sense I got from Pangdean is whether you’re a bride who needs to know every detail of every candle and centerpiece, or you’re someone who would rather just rock up and trust the team to design and cater you the most beautiful wedding you could imagine, this place is for you and the team will do everything they can to meet your needs.

We love how the place is family run but done very professionally as well. We would like to say a huge thank you for everything that you done for us, you made the day extra special for us.All of our family and friends have said how lovely the staff at Pangdean were, nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for any better.

We had the best day at Pangdean. From the moment we went to see the venue through planning visits to the day itself the team was amazing. The beautiful weather meant we could get married and have drinks in the gorgeous garden which all the guests loved. There were great garden toys and games. The food was incredible throughout. The team were so responsive and accommodating on the day. Lots of our guests said it was the best wedding they’d been to. We only wish we could do it all again.

Pangdean was the perfect place for us and the team were absolutely fantastic to work with in planning our day. The venue and the different spaces are beautiful, but what really stands out is the willingness to work together and be creative to make a vision become a reality. We had quite specific (if changing) food requests, wanted a pétanque terrain, and had grand ideas for designing the barn with endless foliage and candles. All of these things were received not as a problem but as something to work together to bring to life, and to help execute as well as possible. the food was really fantastic. The team were genuinely really a joy to work with and we could not recommend Pangdean more.

We had such an excellent wedding day at Pangdean. All the guests commented on how amazing the venue was, including the delicious food and attentive staff. We were blown away by their attention to detail and smooth running of the day, as well as how gorgeous our winter wedding looked. They offered great advice but also let us be free to customise our wedding how we wanted to. We felt very relaxed on the day and were free to just enjoy ourselves, as we trusted they had it all in hand. Thoroughly recommend!!

My husband and I visited Pangdean in July 2024, and ended up marrying there the year after in 2025. We are very pleased we chose Pangdean and extremely impressed by so much of what the venue and everyone within it had to offer. We decided to go with Pangdean as our venue soon after visiting the lovely gardens and getting an excellent first impression from Gill who first greeted us.

All throughout the preparations Gill, Kasia and Sarah were very responsive and attentive to all our questions. They offered great guidance in a very calm and assured way that really helped put us at ease and help us to make the right choices. We never felt pressured into doing something we thought was only best for the venue. We felt confident they could take all of our decorations and stationery and piece it together to make something better than we imagined! Their experience and attention to detail really shone through.

On the day itself the whole team was so attentive, organised and seemed to be able to second guess every need and worked so efficiently with calm, smiling faces – we appreciated how well the more obvious things went like table service but also the smaller things like ensuring the bride and groom got some of the canapés too! We are really grateful in particular for how attentive you were on the day to the bride’s mum who was recovering from recent surgery, checking in on her and allowing her to use the Drawing Room to escape when needed. Bryony was fantastic throughout the day and made sure everything fell perfectly into place.

The food has had just as many compliments – both for the quantity and quality of what was served! Again, we are really pleased with our choices of BBQ and Supper – our guests were hugely pleased with them also! The whole kitchen team should be really proud of what they served so well.

Many of our guests have mentioned to us how lovely the garden and grounds are and how the whole barn itself has a great ambience, layout & fantastic toilets! We enjoyed the local labradors paying us a visit outside during the day too 😊

Pangdean's recommended supplier list was also well worth using, the flowers (Bettie Rose) and photographer (Paul Fletcher) were absolutely first class – we were very pleased with the flowers & were hugely impressed with how well Paul works his craft. The venue's owner, Nikki, very kindly took us up onto the downs at golden hour for some photos and videos with a stunning backdrop.

We honestly can't think of a more perfect example of everything you could hope for a venue and it's staff to be, from the moment we first visited and throughout the entire process.

We recently held our wedding at Pangdean old barn and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! One of the key selling points for us was the helpfulness of the staff and their flexibility to our needs. They made us feel really well looked after from day 1, and their support during the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself was invaluable. It was also an added bonus that you can provide your own booze up to 8pm which saves ££!

Many of our guests fed back how impressed they were with the food and service/organisation. Some guests said it was the best wedding meal they have ever had!

We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding. From start to finish, Nicky, Sarah, Bryony and Krysia were incredible – friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. Pangdean is absolutely beautiful, it has so much character and so many of our guests commented on how stunning it looked. To be able to get married outside under an apple tree with horses in the background was an absolute dream.

The food was exceptional - the portions are generous and there is so much flexibility on menu choice that you can make it personal to you. Nothing was ever too much trouble – Nicky, Sarah, Bryony and Krysia are so attentive and organised, it really is remarkable the amount of effort they put in.

What really stood out to us was the personal touch. We felt supported throughout the whole planning process, and on the day itself, everything flowed so smoothly that we were able to enjoy ourselves and take it all in.

We are already looking forward to coming back for the next Taste of Pangdean and reliving a little bit of the magic again!! We would wholeheartedly recommend Pangdean to any couple looking for somewhere truly special. Sarah and her team are just phenomenal. From start to finish they totally got us and what we were after and couldn't have been more helpful. In the organisation phase they listened to all our ideas, trialling new recipes to celebrate my heritage and making it really easy for us to bring our own quirks. On the day, every single member of staff was so kind and happy to be there, it's a slick operation! I don't know how but they managed to maintain order whilst still being flexible, letting the day progress naturally with a few nudges here and there. When it came to picking up our stuff the next day, everything had been prepped for a quick collection, they think of everything. Price wise it's on a par with most of the venues we looked at in our area. I know we could have done something DIY cheaper but honestly just quality of the food and the support from the staff was worth every single penny, never mind the stunning location! As a bride I felt so looked after and was able to really enjoy my day without worrying about details. Thank you Pangdean!

Last month, we had the absolute delight of getting married at Pangdean Barn. I couldn't recommend this venue more - we had the best experience and SO many comments from our guests on the lovely, helpful and 'on it' staff, the incredible venue/location and the unbelievably good food (highlight - homemade bread!). One of our guests said it was the best wedding he'd ever been to, including his own!

Pangdean Old Barn is truly a wonderful place to get married. The staff, venue and food were absolutely fantastic. At every stage through the process, from the planning to the actual day, the staff were extremely professional and thought of everything. Nothing was too much trouble and they were calm and professional throughout. Due to the weather, our ceremony took place inside the barn and this made for a magical and intimate experience. Throughout the day and for weeks after our guests kept saying how amazing the food was and how brilliant the staff were. We cannot speak highly enough of the team and venue and in our view it is hard to beat.

The staff at the Pangdean Old Barn are incredible. Our permanent residence is in the US, there were no issues with communication. The team was so responsive via email and zoom chat. Each member of the team has multiple years of experience with wedding planning and were able to guide us every step of the way, with recommendations, and helping us fill in the blanks that we may not have thought of. Day of the wedding, the staff were so attentive, making sure myself and the groom were both hydrated, fed, and ensured we were on schedule. I did not have to worry about a thing.

The venue is absolutely stunning, is completely accessible, and has something for everyone. There were 10+ children at our wedding including small babies, the venue has a beautiful changing room area, plenty of toys and play sets to keep the little ones entertained.

The food was absolutely incredible from the canapés to the main dishes. I can not recommend this venue enough to all future couples! Thank you Pangdean for a perfect wedding day!

The gardens are absolutely stunning, and we instantly felt we were in safe hands. Throughout the planning process, Nicky, Briony, Sarah and the whole team were nothing short of fantastic. They made us feel so special from start to finish, like true VIP guests on the day.

Their attention to detail was above and beyond. Every little element was thought through and executed perfectly. So many of our guests commented on how beautifully coordinated everything was, from the thoughtful finishing touches to the seamless flow of the day.

The food was absolutely incredible, delicious and perfectly timed throughout. The day ran without a single hitch, and the barn itself made the most magical and beautiful setting for the evening celebrations.

I can’t really describe how amazing our wedding day was, so wanted to say a massive massive thank you to everyone at Pangdean for the hard work!

We felt so so relaxed the whole day & like we truely had time to be with each other & our guests and that’s definitely down to the team guiding us through the day without any stress! Even when I was about to walk down the aisle the team was so lovely & reminded me to breath!

Everyone said how delicious the food was, main meal, canopes & my sister keeps saying how much she loved the pizza party!
