Our beautifully restored wedding venue and estate give you the freedom to create unique memories. All-out or low-key, we’ll help you design your perfect day with a dreamy backdrop, great food, luxe lodgings, and your favourite people.
We’re not about a you-must-use-these-flowers list, there’s no one way to party on the estate, and there’s certainly no rush. Instead, you’ll get our help, ideas, endless styling options from our recommended suppliers, and an abundance of space to truly make it a day and night to remember.

Enchanting Ceremony Spaces
The Wild Apple Orchard - Setting the scene for a truly relaxed, romantic moment, our estate gardener has transformed the Wild Apple Orchard into a beautiful meadow, allowing the lawn to flourish naturally to create a serene space for exchanging vows, amongst the wildlife, in front of up to 150 seated guests.
The Old Malt Granary - Nestled in the private estate, the beautifully restored Old Malt Granary is home to our indoor weddings, civil ceremonies, blessings and renewal of vows. With high ceilings, exposed beams, original brickwork and large windows that flood the space with natural light, the Granary comfortably seats up to 150 people.
The Chapel House (1290) - Rich in history and lovingly restored, our namesake Chapel House provides an enchanting setting for elopements and micro-weddings steeped in atmosphere for up to 15 people.
For those looking for a church ceremony, we are moments from the charming Minster Church, it’s the perfect setting for your celebration.
Celebrate in Style
Thorne Barn - Celebrate in the charming Thorne Barn, home to our larger celebrations, with space for up to 150 daytime guests and 200 evening guests. A fabulous 1920s-inspired cocktail bar, outdoor terrace and plenty of room to party the night away.
The Glass Courtyard - For more intimate gatherings, the Glass Courtyard and adjoining Lounge Bar offer a relaxed yet refined setting for private dining, celebrations and post-wedding breakfasts. Light-filled by day and softly atmospheric by night, the space comfortably hosts up to 60 guests during the day, or up to 100 for evening celebrations.
Stay the Weekend
Make your celebration last with exclusive on-site accommodation for up to 38 guests (19 bedrooms across the site). Whether it’s close friends, family, or your wedding party, everyone can relax and unwind together.
Chapel House
Dating back to 1290, this lovingly restored house offers four bedrooms, including a romantic honeymoon suite with a freestanding bath and garden views.
Chapel Cottage
A cosy retreat with two king rooms and a bunk room, ideal for families or small groups staying the weekend.
Thorne Cottage
Next door to Chapel Cottage, this charming two-bedroom cottage offers a peaceful, stylish escape for up to four guests.

Modern and elegant, our nine one-bedroom lodges with countryside views are perfect for a quiet moment after the celebrations.

A Venue of Dreams in East Kent - Exclusive, Chic and a Home away from Home
A private venue with a chic and modern style balanced with a cosy country element that made it feel homely and special.
Having both grown up in East Kent, this venue was local but didn't scrimp on any of the luxuries which was exactly what we wanted.
The team's responsiveness, organisation and accommodating nature was second to none, making for a manageable planning process and a magical wedding day.
They really are pros at what they do. Both Loz and Keeley (wedding coordinators) are fabulous in every way. They helped us pull off a beautiful wedding and feel supported and reassured in the process. Jade and Flo were always available to answer our queries and put my mind at ease.
The food was incredible - offering tasting sessions before, fabulous winter stay packages on the run up to our special day and not forgetting the beautiful wedding breakfast which was served piping hot - we had so many complements that this was the best wedding food people had ever had! We didn't upgrade any of the food but did upgrade the wine after Chantelle blew us away.
Louisa made so many amazing recommendations for the cocktail bar and that was an absolute hit with all of our guests.
Chapel House was worth every penny. The grounds are so well managed and their recommended supplier list is so helpful during the planning phase. The accommodation is lovely - both in the main house and the lodges and we can't wait to see how the site grows over the next few years.
This all enabled our day to be everything we could have ever dreamed of and I'm sure we will be back time and time again.

Just The Most Perfect Day
A Perfect Wedding at Chapel House Estate
The venue is simply breathtaking. Every corner of the estate feels thoughtfully designed, from the beautifully landscaped gardens to the elegant indoor spaces. There’s a sense of calm and intimacy that makes you instantly relax, yet it still feels grand enough to mark such a momentous occasion. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful everything looked and how smoothly the day flowed.
What truly sets Chapel House Estate apart, though, is the team. Every single person we interacted with was professional, warm and incredibly accommodating. They made us feel so cared for, and nothing ever felt too much trouble.
A very special thank you must go to Loz, who was simply phenomenal from start to finish. She guided us through the planning process with patience, humour and grace. On the day itself, she was everywhere and nowhere all at once — calm, reassuring and effortlessly orchestrating every detail behind the scenes. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment, knowing that Loz and the team had everything in hand.
We are now writing this from sunny Marrakesh, still glowing from it all and replaying the day in our minds. Chapel House Estate didn’t just give us a venue — they gave us a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with love, laughter and joy.
To the entire team: thank you for giving us the most beautiful start to our marriage. We will be forever grateful.
The Perfect Venue with the Perfect Team
A truly amazing day
You couldn’t have done any more for us. You had every base covered and mentioned things that we would never have thought about to make our day so perfect. Our planning meetings were calm, and I always came away thinking that wedding planning is nowhere as stressful as I thought it would be.
On our wedding day I was nervous driving to Chapel House but as soon as I saw you, my nerves started to dissipate. The breakfast hamper was delicious and very generous and me, Elly and Wendy loved it, and this really helped to settle our nerves and stomachs! Paul was super excited to have the cocktail bar to himself and his groomsmen.
All our guests were so impressed being personally greeted by members of your team on arrival and I lost count of how many guests said what an amazing venue CHE is.
The day ran like clockwork and was faultless which allowed Paul and me to relax and enjoy every moment. You were so organised and professional (and calm) throughout the day making sure that everyone was where they needed to be. Even when it was time for the ceremony to start, I didn’t feel nervous, just excited when walking down the aisle – and the Apple Orchard was set out and decorated beautifully – more beautiful than I had imagined and I was sooo happy to be able to get married outside.
The wedding breakfast was delicious – our guests were super impressed with the quality of the food as well as the super-efficient way in which your staff served it! You have an amazing team with friendly and helpful staff. But your professionalism and organisation were the icing on the cake for us and for everything that you did to make the day so perfect and we cannot thank you enough.
I can’t believe the day was over in a flash! When I look back, there is nothing that I would change as the day was magical and perfect in every way 😊
The Most Beautiful and BEST Day of Our Lives at Chapel House Estate!!!
There are no words that truly capture how out of this world our wedding day was, Chapel House Estate gave us the day we always dreamed of and more.
From the moment we arrived on our first visit we were completely in love with the place. The venue is simply stunning, everywhere you turn is the most prestigious looking, a truly luxurious, modern and beautiful venue. On our wedding day we did the full package. We got married in the apple orchard, surrounded by beautiful nature and scenery. Our drinks reception took place in the glass courtyard was elegant and sunlit, and our evening celebration in the barn was stunning beyond words. The best place for a night of fun, love and pure joy. Each space was we celebrated throughout our day was just as beautiful and the grounds surrounding the estate are honestly breathtaking.
We stayed on site with my bridal party the night before in the cottages, which were gorgeously decorated and so well-equipped the perfect place to relax and soak in the excitement. On the night of the wedding, we stayed in the house while our guests stayed in the lodges, and every single space is just flawless. It felt like a home but the magic and elegance of a 5* hotel.
After 10 years together, we wanted a day that was full of love, fun, and celebration and that’s exactly what we got. We turned Chapel House into our dream rodeo disco themed wedding, and the team embraced every part of our vision with open hearts.
A special thank you to Jade, our coordinator, who was truly amazing. She made everything run seamlessly and brought such calm and care to the day. We couldn’t have done it without her.
I’ll never stop thinking about our wedding day. It was the most beautiful beginning to our next chapter, and if I could relive it all over again, I would in a heartbeat as it simply was THE VERY BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!

The day was so smooth from start to finish, it was ran perfectly by the team with no hiccups. Keeley was absolutely brilliant - such a calming presence and it was our pleasure to have her there helping us throughout our special day. Thank you to the whole team for everything - our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives and we wouldn’t change a single thing. We can’t wait to come back to visit soon!
