Rackleys is a beautiful rural wedding venue set amongst the peaceful, rolling Chiltern Hills. Our location benefits from an idyllic sense of ‘being away from it all’ whilst also being easily accessible from London and Oxford. We are perfectly situated close to the tri-meeting point of the counties of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our traditional farm features a spectacular main barn with a cosy gallery area, a stunning Bridesroom and a registrar's room for civil weddings.
Rackleys Farmhouse
Rackleys Farmhouse is a beautifully restored building situated in the courtyard of Rackleys Chiltern Hills. This exceptional house dates back to the 1730’s with many of it’s original features that can still be seen today. The Farmhouse can accommodate up to twelve adult guests in six individually designed luxurious suites. A delicious Continental breakfast will be served the morning after your nights stay and you can help yourself to unlimited tea and coffee that is available during you stay.
Centered in the courtyard, it’s the perfect spot to spend the night after your wedding with some of your guests. Wake up and look out onto the meadow and The Chiltern Hill from the back of the farmhouse. It’s the ideal place to be.
Facilities and Capacity
Inside the stunning refurbished barn, couples are met with tall vaulted ceilings, exposed red brick walls, and wooden beams that course throughout the venue. Large windows and glass doors allow for panoramic views of the bucolic scenery. There is ample room for a seated ceremony and reception, with the ability to host up to 120 of your loved ones. Adorned with twinkling fairy lights and elegant chandeliers, this airy structure will add a touch of fairytale magic to your celebration. A graceful veranda leads from the barn to the lush green lawns surrounding the venue, ideal for catching a breath of fresh air. Couples and guests can wander the grounds, taking in the beauty of the countryside and finding plenty of opportunities for aesthetic photographs. Rackleys Chiltern Hills also offers ample car parking and will allow exclusive use of the venue for you and your loved ones for utmost privacy.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding- it was beyond what we ever could have imagined. We would do it all over again!

Everyone we encountered, both behind the scenes and those who were front of house on the day were professional, polite and caring. Could not of asked any more of the chefs, bar staff, the general staff, event organizers and the owners.
The most beautiful venue, inside & out
Lucy was the most incredible Event Coordinator right from our first visit up until our Wedding Day! I cannot thank her and the team enough for helping me make my wedding vision come to life. Lucy & the team were amazing with advice, support, and guidance and were always only an email or phone call away. Our whole wedding day went so smoothly and took control of everything.
All of our guests said how beautiful the venue was, how helpful & friendly the staff were and how much of a good day they had. All the facilities are 10/10 and to such a high spec which makes such a difference to a wedding venue.
We had the most perfect day and I cannot recommend Rackleys & the whole events team enough. Thank you!
Stunning Barn Wedding with a venue that really cares
Stunning, Professional and all round fantastic!
From start to finish staff were caring and professional and nothing was too much trouble for the team.
The professionalism is a real highlight of this venue. Not only do they ensure the day is faultless but prior to the wedding they really made us both feel at ease and it filled us with confidence that our day would be perfect. We got married at the venue as well and the changeover was very speedy and you couldn’t really tell it was happening, which is wonderful!
The venue itself is truly stunning and we were blessed with snow for our winter wedding as well which just added to the beauty of Rackleys.
The food as well, was glorious and they really did care and cater for my allergy/intolerance guests so well. Sometimes when you go to weddings (at other venues) the food can get cold as you get to the last tables but my guests were very happy and said the food was delicious, great quality and hot! When I looked around all I could see was clean plates which is a statement in itself.
If you are planning a wedding please do consider Rackleys because you really will have the most perfect day.

Stunning venue, a beautiful wedding - a day & experience to remember
The staff made us feel very special and nothing was too much effort for them, the guests thought they were brilliant and as bride and groom we really did feel like they went over and above what was expected of them on the day. The venue manager, was a star from start to finish, always checking in and making sure we were happy and offering helpful and expert advice. The events director, was fabulous from the moment we initially viewed the venue right up until days after the wedding. We have to thank her for making the day run so smoothly and making the whole process stress free and excitable!
The events coordinator who was fantastic on the day even down to walking around with our son in his pram to help him go to sleep to enable everyone to enjoy themselves! Also thank you to the rest of the team for always being so helpful and friendly smiling faces. The food was divine, the chef, obviously has a lot of passion for the food which he creates which not only tasted beautiful but looked fantastic too.
We wish we could do the day every weekend it was so fantastic, thank you Rackley's for being an outstanding venue and making one of the happiest days of our lives one to remember and cherish forever.

Meet the team
As Venue Manager, I am passionate about weddings we host here at Rackleys and the beautiful venue in which they take place. Out of office time I spend time with my family, taking the dog for walks and watching football.
I have been with Rackleys since the summer of 2023 and have a wealth of experience working in the wedding industry.
If I am not running a wedding, you will probably find me in the gym or doing some mad sporting event!
I am the Owner of Absolute Cuisine who provide the catering here at Rackleys.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love travelling to unusual places as well as gardening cooking and walking.
