We can't say enough about Rumbolds Farm. It's a breathtaking, fairytale-like venue with diverse spaces that perfectly suited our needs. Our guests absolutely loved the place and we received so many compliments. We held a combined Indian and British wedding, and the transition between the two was absolutely seamless thanks to Chris and his family. They are true professionals who went above and beyond to make our day special. It's clear that as a family-run business, they genuinely care about their clients and are committed to ensuring a perfect, stress-free day.

Rumbolds Farm is a truly amazing wedding venue and we couldn't have asked for anymore. We were fortunate enough that the weather was just perfect which meant we could have the outside wedding we had dreamed of. Nothing was too much trouble and Chris and his parents are really wonderful people. The grounds are just beautiful and are so well kept. The two barns offer so much space and allowed us to have as many guests as we wished. Rumbolds was one of the few venues we found that allowed us to bring in outside suppliers of our choice which was perfect for what we wanted and enabled us to put our own touch on everything. The accommodation is perfect, we booked it out for our closest family and it came with a lovely breakfast each morning. Chris's Dad carried out our ceremony and his words were just so beautiful. It was fantastic being able to stay at the venue and we had access 3 days before for set up which took so much of the stress away. I would honestly recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you for providing such a perfect venue for our wedding day!

There is absolutely nothing we could've asked for from a wedding venue, it gave us everything we could've dreamed of and more.

We had spaces for everything we needed, and to ensure our guests were comfortable all day, we were able to add fun extras such as crazy golf, and even a rounders match on day two. The space, location and accommodation was incredible and we were given the flexibility to make it exactly how we had dreamed. The gardens and location were out of this world, and every single guest commented on how beautiful everything was.

The owners and all our suppliers working on the day helped everything run smoothly, and we knew we didn't have to worry about anything else.

I cannot stop thinking about the incredible day that we had at Rumbolds Barn. Wow. I describe the space as like a Narnia - a hidden away, magical piece of land that is just so so beautiful. The effort that has gone in to making the barn and gardens perfection is obvious. Everything was perfection.

People often say in reviews of places that the venue owner was amazing and accommodating and so I am hesitant to use those words as what Rumbolds barn offer compared to anyone else in business is so so so so so much more. It was like being welcomed to a friend's house when we arrived to look around Rumbolds the first time, let alone as time went on. They constantly went so far above and beyond the call of duty to make our day feel so special. Along this same theme, having the venue from the Tuesday before the event took all the stress of preparation away, another example of how exceptional a service they provide. It made it into a week long wedding celebration!

The venue itself is just totally stunning, the love and care that is put into it is displayed all around in the stunning gardens and attention to detail. The accommodation also shares this feel. It is stunningly beautiful and better than I could have ever possibly imagined. It was truly magical.

We had the best possible day imaginable at this venue. It came across so clearly how much they cared about our enjoyment and this was so wonderful and made us feel so valued.

This is a wedding venue like no other. It has to be experienced to be truly believed how wonderful these people are and how wonderful your wedding will be here.

We held our reception at Rumbolds last weekend; we're still reliving the experience and are constantly hearing our friends (and caterers/florist etc) telling us how special the venue was.
As soon as we saw Rumbolds we knew it was the right venue for us; it isn't huge, it's in a beautiful rural location and is very unfussy but stunning at the same time with its lovely grounds and character.
It was incredibly helpful to be able to have access for a few days before the wedding, to bring things over and decorate bit by bit.
Susie and Andy were always very helpful when I emailed them countless times beforehand, and during the week of the wedding and the day itself, were on hand and happy to help in whatever way they could.
We feel so lucky to have found Rumbolds and to have had such lovely caring people to call on throughout the process.

We too loved the look of Rumbolds Farm from the moment we saw it and we couldn't have chosen a better place to be able to make our wedding our own. Susie gave us the space, time and flexibility to be able to create and implement our own ideas in a relaxed and beautiful setting.

As soon as we saw Rumbolds farm we knew it was our perfect wedding venue! We fell in love with it as soon as we drove up towards the barn. The venue allows you access all week which meant we got to decorate everything how we wanted it and Susie was happy for us to do what we wanted. Our friends arrived Friday and camped until Sunday so it was perfect being able to turn our wedding into a whole weekend celebration. Everyone commented on our perfect location, even the photographer. It was simply beautiful in every way, the barn, gardens and lake were stunning, perfect for an outdoor wedding and photographs. The bride and groom cottage was gorgeous and Susie and Andy were available if we needed anything. Thanks again for helping us with our magical wedding!

Susie and Andy are the loveliest hosts you could ask for. We have been so lucky to be made to feel completely at home. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained. We also fell in love with Rumbolds and Plaistow as soon as we set eyes on them. The walk up the lane from the Holy Trinity Church was so worth it. Even our dog Lilly didn't want to leave. Being given free run of the whole venue for so long gave us time to prepare but also time to enjoy the wedding ourselves. The camping gave friends on a budget the chance to stay and enjoy a few drinks and then enjoy a bbq on Sunday whilst helping to clear up. Even that just felt like an extension to our big day. Beautiful, lovely, perfect. Thank you so much.

We held our wedding at Rumbolds Farm over the weekend of the 9th July. From the moment we first spoke to Susie and visited the venue we were hooked. The contact and help given was second to none and Susie allowed us to hold the wedding of our dreams. It really felt like we were at the home of friends and cannot fault them at all. Everyone of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and we would not hesitate to recommend Susie and Rumbolds Farm to anyone planning their wedding.

Dear Susie and Andy, Thank you so much for having such a beautiful venue and making our day so special! It was an absolute success, everyone admired the location and were so full of compliments. If you had not existed I really do not know where we would have finally gone to as in our eyes, nothing else came near to what you offer.
