Winters Barns, located in Canterbury, offers you and your guests a delightful venue in which to hold a truly wonderful, memorable wedding. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a lavish reception, the venue has a fantastic variety of function spaces to accommodate your day.
Facilities and Capacity
The delightful barn boasts rustic, vaulted ceilings, and offers stunning views across the grounds, perfect for your all-important wedding photos. The L-shaped barn is perfect for your whole day of celebrations, with a ceremony space at one end and a reception room at the other. The self-contained barn enables you to enjoy an exceptional wedding whatever the weather. It can accommodate up to 150 for a ceremony and 200 in the reception room. Following a romantic ceremony, you and your guests can enjoy a few drinks. While you are socialising with your nearest and dearest, the venue team will clear the ceremony room to transform the barn into the perfect party space for your first dance and evening festivities.
Services Offered
Winters Barns holds only one wedding per day, allowing you to have a completely private occasion. Not only will you and your guests enjoy the whole venue with no interruptions, but you will also benefit from the undivided attention of the fantastic team throughout the day. Catering will be provided in-house, while a list of trusted vendors can be provided to help you find the perfect fit for your celebration. A wedding coordinator will also work with you to help bring your dream day to life.

Beautiful venue
We would to thank Sally and her team at Winters Barns for making our special day come to life. This venue is absolutely beautiful allowing for some stunning photos. All our guests commented on its cutsie barn vibes and well maintained grounds.
The food was exactly what we wanted with our 3 course meal and evening food, all delivered with amazing service.
We couldn’t praise or recommend this venue enough!

Stunning location. Fabulous team.
This is a fabulous location with great flexible spaces both indoor and outdoor options.
Sophie and the team were great communicators. Incredibly organised, and took all the stress of the away allowing us to enjoy the best day of our lives. 😍🥂

Best day EVER
Blown away with how amazing winters Barn were. Not only on the day of our wedding but the build up to it! The day ran so smoothly all my guests commented with how amazing the whole day ran. Nothing was a problem, no question was a silly question. Lizzie who coordinated the whole day, there are just no words with how patient and accommodating she was/is.
I can’t thank winters barn enough for the most beautiful day and my dream wedding! Highly recommend 😍 xx

The Prefect Venue
What can I say other than this venue absolutely made our wedding. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was the one. Not only is is absolutely beautiful and the perfect cozy venue, but the staff are an absolute delight to work with. We had the pleasure of working with Sophie, John and Rachel and from start to finish, they were the most helpful, kind and supportive team either of us have ever worked with. Nothing was too much trouble and we wouldn't have changed a single thing about our day. Thank you so much WB team! If we could give you a million stars, we would!

Perfect Winter Wedding
Winters Barns was the perfect venue for our winter wedding on the 29th December 2023. We cannot fault the venue in anything; they were attentive, communicated well (with my 100 questions!) and really made us feel like we were the only couple to have ever got married there. The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning and were perfect for our professional photos. We would like to thank Winters Barns for an amazing wedding day.

Beautiful Barn
We had our wedding at the beautiful Winters Barns and it was a perfect day. So magical and the staff were so attentive and lovely.
They knew every single thing they needed to happen and listened to our needs throughout the planning process.
Sally was our Co-ordinator and she was just so lovely and lively and made me feel so comfortable.

Stunning venue, amazing staff.
This venue is absolutely stunning, the team work ridiculously hard to make the day go to play, Sally went above and beyond for us on our wedding day and we couldn’t thank her enough, she is absolutely amazing and made everything run so smoothly!

Better than perfect!
We had our wedding at winters barns in early march and we had the best wedding! There are so many photo opportunities at winters barns to choose from which are all stunning- interior and exterior. All the organising was easy for us as it was done in house by the wedding coordinator- in our case, it was Lizzie. Lizzie was absolutely brilliant with all aspects of our wedding and so organised and professional. The ceremony itself was perfect and was all ready to go very early for me to see over before the actual ceremony. The Bridal salon offered everything the bridal party needed, as did the pump room. The cottage was perfect, so clean and so tidy. As was all of the rooms in the farm house and the hop picking hut. Jon the barman was so kind and polite and really was a superb character, he also helped make the evening so memorable. there was not a single thing I found a fault with and our wedding day went so perfectly and smooth because of the beautiful surroundings and organised co-ordination from Lizzie, Jon and the rest of the team at winters barns. Absolute perfection, Thankyou so much for Making our day so special!

Beautiful venue, incredible team
Winters Barns is an amazing all-round venue. The staff team is very responsive and helpful and they made the day run smoothly and it all went off without a hitch. They listened to all the ideas that we had and offered advice on how to incorporate them into our day and how to make them even better.
The venue itself is stunning, with so many places for beautiful pictures and little hide outs if you just want some time to yourself. The simplicity of the venue is what appealed to us the most. It doesn't need loads of decorations to look amazing.
The accommodation on site is in the same style as the venue and is well presented.
We loved that everything was interconnected and that we could go from the dining room straight to the bar and then to the dance floor, without having to wait for the chairs and table to be moved.
Winters Barns is a beautiful, intimate wedding venue and I would choose it over and over again.

Fantastic wedding venue- faultless
We had the pleasure of getting married here mid May and we had the most perfect day! We cannot recommend Winters Barns enough. From the first time we viewed the venue we fell in love with it, all members of staff are so friendly and every little detail has been thought about. The layout of the venue is brilliant, giving everyone with different wants a space, plenty of seating outside, tables for dinner in their own room, sofas by the bar which is right next to the evening reception room meaning everything flowed brilliantly without people getting lost in the space.
Through the whole process we were kept up to date and had regular communication. The team answers all my emails and questions promptly and a massive thank you goes to Sophie our wedding coordinator who was absolutely fantastic and faultless! Everything was so organised ahead of the day which was brilliant peace of mind for us. On the day everything ran so smoothly with nothing being too much for the team to do. We had several comments from guests about how brilliant the venue and staff were. They helped set up the space and ensured everything was packed away at the end of the night ready for us to take away from the store room the next day. The accommodation is lovely, as was breakfast the next day (to make perfect it would be nice if a fried breakfast could be served but this may be a caters decision).
We honestly cannot recommend Winters Barns enough!
