Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in West Sussex

Upwaltham Barns hosted a wonderful day for my son & daughter-in-law at the end of May. Everyone on the team was attentive, friendly, helpful and ready to go the extra mile for us. A personal thanks from me to Steve, who came out from behind the bar to fix my buttonhole, and to Marsha, who calmly kept me informed and in check through my MC duties on the day! The whole team did a great job, taking care of us in a way that showed they know how to help make the day as good as it can be, while also making us feel they were pleased to be a part of our happy occasion! The venue is very well set-up, with two capacious barns, a large & very picturesque courtyard for confetti and cake, as well as more intimate bar and seating areas that come in to their own as the day progresses. Finally, we were very lucky with the weather & were able to make the most of the beautiful setting. We've yet to see pictures from the official photographer, but the barns, the courtyard, the cottage buildings & the entry archway all made for lovely backdrops for our amateur efforts. And we can't wait to see all the photos taken up on the hill behind the venue; we've seen only a brief sneak preview, but the panoramic meadow views behind our son and new daughter, their groomsmen and bridesmaids, will make for some more special memories.

This is the most perfect wedding venue you could choose!! SO many people commented on how great it was, even our caterer is looking to have their wedding there. With 2 large interconnected barns/rooms, an amphitheatre, a huge lawn area, a stretch tent, a church on site and the best views at a venue I've seen, you have to go see it for yourself. Whilst it is a blank canvas type venue, it needs very little decor added because it is so beautiful. Space for many many guests. We had some rain and wind on our day, but easily accommodated 130 guests. Great photo opportunities in the large grounds. Wonderful staff who love their job and reasonably priced. An absolute winner!!

The team at Long Furlong were amazing from start to finish and very accommodating of my type A bride-ness and answering random questions for months beforehand. Venue is obviously stunning too! On the day they were on hand to help set up and were super accommodating with our decor - including putting some sacks in the pit! Vicki even managed to video some of the day which was such a nice surprise to wake up to the next morning and made that unbearable wait for photos easier! My mum even cried at the footage. We felt in safe hands and it was an easy breezy wedding planning with the team at Long Furlong.

The venue was absolutely amazing for our wedding but also their in house styling, catering and drinks made everything really convenient. We were looked after so well by Kelly who was always working to get us what we wanted and make sure we were happy.

We had our wedding at Farbridge and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From start to finish, the team were exceptional - everything ran so smoothly, and we had complete trust in the team that everything was in hand. It meant we could just relax and enjoy the day, knowing everything was being taken care of. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble, and they brought all our ideas and plans to life flawlessly. So many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how seamlessly the day flowed - it was all thanks to their hard work and attention to detail. The catering team was phenomenal, delivering our dream menu so beautifully. The food was incredible, so delicious, and we had so many compliments from guests (and plenty of very full, happy people!). Farbridge truly was the venue of our dreams, and we’ll cherish the memories of our wedding there for the rest of our lives. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

We couldn't be happier that we chose Brookfield Barn as our wedding venue. From the first look around, we were clear that we wanted Brookfield and made the decision to choose the venue almost immediately. The setting is absolutely stunning and the staff seemed so friendly, professional and calm - which very much turned out to be the case. Each and every staff member was superb, from the fantastic bar staff to the waiting staff who brought us pizza slices out on the dancefloor, to everyone who made sure our cake toppers, photos, presents, and anything else we might want to keep were carefully placed in our honeymoon suite for us while we were busy having the best day of our lives. A special mention must go to Annaelle, our fantastic events manager, who assisted us with every part of the process, answered every query we could possibly have from start to finish, and provided advice on points we hadn't even thought of. Having her there to guide us meant that we actually enjoyed the planning process and are lucky enough not to have any stresses to look back on - only incredible, happy memories! Our guests especially complimented the stunning setting, delicious food and drinks, and relaxed atmosphere. Anyone who wants a beautiful countryside setting with impeccable 5* service should absolutely book Brookfield. You and your guests will have the time of your lives!!

From the initial enquiries to the final breakfast it was fantastic. The staff were extremely professional and made the whole thing feel very personal. The only thing, which was a shame, was our wine allowance per head was not laid out on the tables. The glasses were not topped up on the tables, meaning it did not flow and we took lots home. Apart from that the whole thing was amazing. Even the breakfast the next morning felt like an event. The accommodation was lovely. Thank you Denise and Chris

Our wedding was spectacular, every detail was perfect,we couldn't be happier with the outcome and the memories we will cherish forever.The staff are so professional and attentive and definitely good at problem solving especially for us as our three tier cake started to slide ,Adam definitely saved sorting it out.The food was out of this world, the ambience was beautifully executed, the money we spent was well worth the amazing memories made with our Loved ones. We would highly recommend this astounding venue and dedicated staff.

We got married on November 8th 2025 at Fitzlaroi barn it was a fantastic day and Martina was always available to answer my questions so be it however. Silly they may of been she reassured me and was always supportive. The day before our wedding we had a run though and she was So patient with me choosing the exactly moment I wanted to arrive at my husband. On the day we had kate as our wedding coordinator she was totally brilliant nothing was a problem and insured than myself and my husband had nothing to do ourselves. She even took charge of the children when getting a bit over excited then shared a dance with us all before going home. Not sure of the males name that replaced her in the evening but he was also brilliant Will highly recommend to everyone. Thank you xx

We got married at Cissbury at the end of October and were completely blessed by beautiful weather and a gorgeous location. Michelle was a fantastic event coordinator throughout the whole process and I fully trusted her and her team. Charlie made sure all our last minute arrangements were sorted and the evening event manager (Lynn?) was brilliant! On the day they were totally on-it but completely in the background. Thank you for making our day run so smoothly and for dealing with any and all bumps that appeared along the way!
