Oaks Farm is a boutique venue nestled in the Shirley Hills on the Surrey-Kent border, just 10 miles from London. It is an outstanding, beautiful venue, which is ideal for your wedding celebration.
As a family owned and run venue, we have seen happy couples get married at Oaks Farm over the past 27 years and pride ourselves on the quality and warmth of our service.
Your wedding day would take place in our stables, barn, orangery and beautiful country gardens.
At Oaks Farm we offer a very personal service, with Katie and John on hand to help you with your plans for your big day. We will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the planning process.
Our carefully created packages enables you to relax and enjoy the run up to your big day with a clear understanding of the total cost.
Facilities & Capacity:
Our beautiful family country home with its cottage gardens and orchard is exclusively yours to provide that pictures backdrop for your big day.
We can accommodate up to 100 guests during the daytime and up to an additional extra 50 guests for the evening party
The excitement of the day can start in our two-luxury boutique getting ready rooms Oaks Farm Cottage and the Orchard Cottage were those first special moments of the day can be captured.
Indoor Ceremonies:
These will take place in our converted Stable Barn which has an intimate setting and can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Outdoor Ceremonies:
Lilly Pond Lawn
Under our wisteria covered arbour next to our country pond this makes for a breathtaking occasion and can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Walled Country Garden
Under our weeping willow surrounded by our beautiful country gardens this makes for a truly memorable occasion and can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Church Ceremony
If you would prefer a more tradition church ceremony we have the beautiful St John the Evangelist church which is a six minute drive away.
Drink Reception
This can take place in the cottage gardens during the warmer months, and in the Orangery and surrounding terrace at all other times of the year. Wedding guests can mingle here whilst being served drinks and canapes.
The Weddings Breakfast –
Our traditional Barn provides an intimate atmosphere for your wedding breakfast and can host up to 100 guests. For smaller weddings the Orangery provides a light and airy alternative, with views of our cottage gardens which can host up to 70 guests.
Catering
Our in-house caterer 10 Flavours offers an expansive selection of delicious menu options to savour whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings. If you would like to incorporate cultural traditions with an authentic dining experience, you may adopt our alternative packages with Spice Village or Burrell Catering who offer exceptional Indian, Pakistani, Caribbean or African cuisine.
Your package includes a selection of carefully hand-picked drinks which will be served before and during your meal to provide that perfect tipple for your guests
Evening Reception
The Barn is transformed for the evening entertainment so you and your guests can dance the night away, with plenty of seating for those with weary feet. A wide range of delicious evening food is available, while The Orchard Bar Company keeps the drinks flowing. For the evening party your guest numbers can go up to 150 guests
Honeymoon Suite
The Orchard Cottage is nestled amongst our orchard which provides the perfect secluded place after a full day’s celebration for you to slip off to and relax for your honeymoon night.

Absolutely stunning
The day itself was amazing and went exactly how we had dreamed of.
From the groomsmen arriving to help set up the staff were amazing and had laid the tables exactly how we wanted.
To myself and my bridal party doing a mad dash into the cottage so we wouldn't be seen. Katie even changed the bedding again after one of the bridesmaids spilt her drink on it (it was the bed or my dress 😂) so thank you again for that!
Katie helped myself and the bridal party over to the stables where we were getting married and fluffed my dress for me, before I walked down the aisle.
They also had a little breakfast box in the fridge for us the next day, even though we were a little too fragile to eat most of it, we did try.
The Perfect Wedding Venue – We Couldn’t Have Asked for More!
We organised our wedding day in a slightly unusual way, but Katie and John were completely open to our ideas and went above and beyond to help us make everything work. They were always happy to answer our questions in the lead-up to the wedding and were so supportive with all of the planning and preparation.
Their help didn’t stop there — they were fantastic with the set-up and continued to be so helpful throughout the wedding day itself. Everything ran so smoothly, which meant we could relax and enjoy the day knowing we were in such capable hands.
The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for our wedding. It felt so special and was everything we could have hoped for.
A huge thank you to Katie and John for being so accommodating, supportive and genuinely lovely throughout the whole process. You played such an important part in making our wedding day so perfect, and we couldn’t recommend Oaks Farm highly enough.

Oaks Farm is absolutely beautiful. It has that gorgeous countryside feel while still being elegant and special, and there are so many stunning places for photographs. Our guests were blown away by the venue, and we were constantly being told throughout the day how beautiful everything was.
What really made Oaks Farm stand out for us, though, was the team. They were so helpful, professional and reassuring throughout the whole process. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and having a venue that genuinely cared about making our day perfect made such a difference. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we always felt looked after.
On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly. We were able to completely relax and enjoy getting married, knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. The atmosphere was incredible, the setting was beautiful and the whole day felt so personal to us.
Our guests absolutely loved it, from the ceremony through to the food, drinks and celebrations. It was everything we had dreamed our wedding day would be and more.
We will always have such a special place in our hearts for Oaks Farm. Choosing a wedding venue is such a huge decision, and if you are considering getting married here, we genuinely couldn’t recommend it enough. It gave us the most beautiful setting for the start of our married life and memories that we will treasure forever.

A perfect wedding day at Oaks Farm
The venue is beautiful, nestled in the countryside with stunning green surroundings and right next to the golf club. You’d have no idea you were so close to Croydon when you’re there! It also makes for some incredible wedding photos.
Katie and John were amazing throughout the whole planning process. They were incredibly accommodating and happily allowed us multiple visits during the busiest stages of planning, which made such a difference. The attention to detail was excellent, and the whole team on the day worked so hard to make sure everything ran seamlessly.
Everyone was so friendly, warm and welcoming, and there was never a moment where we didn’t feel looked after. The new getting-ready space is also beautifully designed and made such a difference, allowing both parties to get ready on site while still having separate spaces.
We also felt Oaks Farm offered excellent value for money, and we loved having the option to bring our own reception drinks. The fact that everything takes place on one site was a huge bonus too — nobody had to leave between different parts of the day, which really kept the atmosphere going and meant the party never lost momentum!
We absolutely loved getting married here and would recommend Oaks Farm to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxed and incredibly well-run wedding venue. Thank you to the whole team for helping make our day so special! ❤️
Everything was perfect
We chose 10 Flavours for our catering, one of the 4 nominated caterers that Oaks Farm uses, and are the resident caterers on-site. We were invited to a food tasting session back in February, and were immediately sold on the quality of the food. During the menu planning process, Jody was incredibly patient with us and very flexible to the needs we had for our guests.
On the day, as I have said to many people, if I could have written down exactly how I wanted the day to go, it could not have gone any better. The weather, the ceremony, the canapes in the garden, the wedding breakfast, the evening disco and buffet, and most importantly, the fun our guests had. Everything was absolutely perfect and we could not have wished for more.
Since the wedding, we have received a never ending stream of compliments from our guests about the day - and especially about our choice of venue and the food.
I would recommend Oaks Farm to anybody without hesitation.
Beautiful Day
Caterers from 10 flavours, were very professional and communicates with you checking what we want or what the plan it especially if time is running over . Feedback from our families says there were a lot of food (but our choices) very tasty and enjoyable especially the jerk chicken and the dessert apple crumble...mmm. The caterers team we like to thank you personally for looking after everyone as well as our teams (photographers and DJ).
The outdoor places is so beautiful and your guests does not all have to be in one area there is enough space to branch out. Having our ceremony outdoors with the beautiful weather what more could anyone ask. Lucky the weather was on our side but you do have an option to use the stable. After celebrating and dancing with your husband/wife, families and friends its time to spend the wedding night in the cosy oaks farm cottage located on sight. Having the whole venue for the price they ask is worth it.
For us visiting the surroundings of oaks farm we knew this is where we wanted to get married. So for anyone looking for a venue that seems far away from home and suits their needs we recommend visiting. Happy wedding day to those who is getting married at oaks farm.
Top Tier Staff. Magical Day.
All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. Everything you need is onsite, which was super convenient on the day. Katie and John made us feel really taken care of. They were so professional, organised, and friendly. They were supportive throughout the process; allowing us to visit the venue as often as we needed to, quick to answer any questions we had, and helping with set-up on the day.
We felt respected and cared for, which is not always a given as an LGBTQ+ couple planning a wedding. It was nice that there weren’t gender-based assumptions about our roles on the day. The venue was very open and flexible with how we wanted the ceremony entrance to look. Massive thank you to Katie for accommodating us both walking down the aisle and equally having our moment.
The venue is fully accessible. A member of my Bridal Party has additional needs and uses a wheelchair and the venue was very accommodating - including providing a quiet space where they could sit and have their meal when they felt overstimulated.
The getting ready room is absolutely stunning. It has a vanity space, as well as a bathroom with a shower and some space outside hidden away from guests. It accommodated a large bridal party really well and was a great place to get ready ahead of the ceremony.
They offer the cottage onsite to stay in after the wedding. Again, this was so convenient and meant we could party hard with the knowledge we could be in bed within 2 minutes! It was gorgeous and has everything you need. We were left an adorable and delicious breakfast hamper. All the facilities were clean and the bed was comfy. This space was available from 11am the day of the wedding to get ready in as well.
For food you get a choice of partner caterers and we went with 10 Flavours who operate out of the venue. Food was delicious and plentiful and guests commented on how tasty it was and how well-fed they were. Massive thanks to Jody who runs 10 Flavours for this and to the catering team on the day, including those who went out of their way to serve our guest who needed space in a separate area of the venue.
Overall we could not recommend Oaks Farm as a wedding venue enough!

Perfect wedding venue for us! (May 2026 wedding)
more joyful celebration for us. The Cottage is extremely well kept and lovely to stay in. The newly built bridal suite is also amazing and has everything you need to get ready the morning of the wedding! We love the two separate gardens for guests to roam around in and the indoor areas are also incredible. A lot of space for all the guests to roam around especially if they have kids.

What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the people. The team at Oaks Farm were incredible from start to finish—friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. They made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process, answering every question and ensuring that nothing was overlooked.
The whole journey, from planning to the big day, was smooth and stress-free. Everything was handled with such care and attention to detail that we were able to relax and fully enjoy the experience. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, and it was clear that the team had everything under control.

Meet the team
Delia & Colin Hart are the proud owners of Oaks Farm. They established their wedding venue after hosting a friend's daughter's wedding in 1996 and have built its success on strong family values. Although most of their time is now taken up chasing their 7 grandchildren around! You can be assured of a very warm welcome from them.
Katie joined the family business in 2004 and has been at the heart of its continued success ever since. Her finely honed organisational skills (after raising three children!), eye for detail and experience make Katie a superb collaborator and reassuring presence for our couples. Katie also tied to knot at Oaks Farm in 2005.
John is the youngest of the Hart children and joined the business in 2015 when he retired from professional sport. John loves helping our couples bring together their special day through his eye for detail and his organisational skills to bring everything together, which he attributes to raising twin boys! John got married at Oaks Farm in 2007.
