Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Isle of Wight

We held our wedding reception at East Afton on 5th November 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in the Farmhouse and Annex and found the accommodation to be spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxed wedding stay. It really added to the whole experience. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and hardly needs any decoration, though we added some autumnal touches of our own. Being able to set up two days before made the whole process incredibly smooth and took away so much of the usual pre-wedding stress. Chloe and Mel were fantastic throughout the planning stages. They put our minds at ease, helped us shape the schedule, and were always quick with solutions whenever we had questions. I visited the venue multiple times and they were consistently welcoming and supportive. They even allowed me to bring my parents—who don’t live on the island—so they could be involved in the planning. Their advice on layout and décor was so helpful, and they contacted all our suppliers in advance, which took a huge amount of pressure off us. We had quite a few extras, including a beer pong table, a foosball table, and a DJ, and everything was coordinated seamlessly. They even helped me organise a last-minute bouquet for my mum after I realised I’d left her gift on the mainland, which was very thoughtful. On the day itself, Lisa was our coordinator, and she was absolutely brilliant. She brought the whole schedule to life with such calmness and precision. I felt a bit stressed before the reception began, but she was so reassuring and warm. The entire team was attentive and professional, and so many of our guests commented on how great the service was—especially how their prosecco glasses were constantly topped up during welcome drinks! Everything flowed exactly as we’d hoped, and the evening was truly fabulous. Overall, East Afton gave us the perfect reception and we couldn't be more grateful. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with an exceptional team who genuinely care, we can’t recommend it enough

If you're after wedding venue that is personal and stunning, Kingston Manor is the place to celebrate your special day. There isn't one fault to share about Kingston Manor and the lovely owners Juliet and Robert! The only fault is that we are not there every weekend! From day one of visiting we knew that the 'naked venue' was everything we had dreamt in terms of the setting but also the spaces, whilst also offering the opportunity to make it personal to us. Juliet and Robert were really flexible and listened to our dreams and proposals. The long weekend for our family at Kingston Manor felt like a holiday in the South of France. The house is the perfect space for two families to celebrate a whole weekend whilst also not being on top of each other. If you are after an intimate celebration whilst still having a great sized wedding (80- 120 people) Kingston manor is more than perfect! The blank canvas can really take any style, theme or creativity. Simple or extravagant.
