We fell in love with this venue when we saw the space they had both Outdoor and Indoor. Being able to have our ceremony outdoor in the magical woodland, and still have an indoor space big enough for a sit-down dinner was perfect for us. The evening was spot-on as well, the fire-pits outside gave it the perfect chilled vibe we were after, and the Oast itself was a great for dancing.

The natural beauty of the venue an obvious is a bonus, but you don’t appreciate—until the actual day—that the staff are exceptional. Our wedding was beautifully organised and everything flowed equally beautifully. The whole setup is just perfect.

From the moment we walked into Pangdean Barn we knew it was where we wanted to get married. We love how the place is family run but done very professionally as well. We would like to say a huge thank you for everything that you done for us, you made the day extra special for us.All of our family and friends have said how lovely the staff at Pangdean were, nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for any better.

We hired the barn for our wedding and it was fantastic and looked amazing. Fran and the team were incredibly helpful throughout the experience from booking to the day and there was no task too big for them. Super friendly and helped to put you at ease. Definitely the wedding of our dreams! Can not recommend them enough!

We had our wedding here in July and it’s what I like to call a hidden Jem!! It’s a wonderful venue for any special occasion and me and my husband and so happy we held our wedding reception here. There is also a lovely lake for photo opportunity.

Value for money was outstanding - every element included in our package exceeded expectations, with no hidden costs or surprises, and it was clear the team strives to deliver a premium experience at a fair price. The venue offered excellent packages that included not just the space, but essentials such as catering, coordination, and even accommodation. For couples conscious of their budget, we found that it delivered all the quality and experience we wanted while still meeting our financial goals. The staff's professionalism was remarkable throughout the process. From our initial enquiry, response times were quick and thorough. Our event coordinator, Sara, was attentive and knowledgeable, always willing to go above and beyond to answer questions and accommodate requests - even those made at the last minute. On our wedding day, every team member was not only organised and efficient but also genuinely friendly, helping us and our guests feel supported and welcome at every step. Regarding our budget needs, the venue was flexible and transparent. We were able to tailor our package according to our priorities without ever feeling pressured to upgrade unnecessarily. The staff offered detailed breakdowns and worked with us to ensure every need was met without overstretching our budget. The overall attitude of the entire team was warm, proactive, and solutions-focused. The staff maintained a positive and can-do approach, ensuring everything ran seamlessly and stress-free. In summary, Blackstock truly prioritises couples’ happiness. It combines stunning surroundings and excellent service with great value and a team whose professionalism and positive attitude shine through. Our first choice Hawthbush were the second venue we visited and after that we didn’t need to see another. They were adaptable to our various needs, and made their venue so we could make our wedding our own and genuinely made us feel special as a bride and groom. So many places churn out weddings and make you pick their packages whereas Hawthbush allow movement and room for you to make your day how you want it. From the get go Bella was fab, always responsive to messages and laying out when payments and different things needed confirming. They work with their brewery and it means you get a fantastic variety of beer rather than the usual warm Amstel and it just lifts the mood. On the day they were first class and made sure everything was adaptable as timings slipped and made each possible issue seem like no bother. Organising a wedding with 150 guests is hard but Hawthbush made it seem so easy. The ceremony area is a fairytale dreamland to get married in, the barn and fields are perfect for photos. I cried with joy the first time I saw the venue, and the photos and memories we made from our day are something we will treasure forever and I will continue to cry with joy that we got to get married there! The on site accommodation is superb, we had friends that would never usually camp LOVE glamping and it was all better than described! The hamlet, and barn were also superb! I don’t think we could have found a better venue for us if we’d hunted through a million more. Thank you Hawthbush you truly are magical.

A HUGE thank you to Nicola, Peter and Viki for all their hard work both during the wedding day and the planning/lead up. Right from our very first contact with Nicola we were impressed by the way she worked and particularly liked that she had clear boundaries of what they do and don’t offer/recommend as this can really help with the overwhelming amount of decisions that there are to be made around organising weddings. The shared spreadsheet was also a really helpful way to keep track everything decided/discussed in the in person meetings and via email. The day could not have run smoother and we felt completely relaxed throughout the day knowing that were anything to happen Nicola was on hand to manage it. The venue itself is gorgeous! The main Barn is beautifully designed and decorated without being too specific so you can still add your own touch to the space, the gardens are immaculately kept by Peter (not a blade of grass out of place) and the guest accommodation was equally stunning. If you are thinking of having your wedding in Sussex I could not recommend Hendall Manor Barns more highly!

This was the perfect location for our wedding reception. Gote Barn is everything you could want for a rustic barn wedding. Will and Polly were amazing hosts. They were easy to contact, made themselves available for all our needs and had some great suggestions for decorations, vendors and other wedding logistics. Polly was even able to arrange an extra quiet space and a baby changing table as we had lots of young children attending. Gote Barn is in a magical setting with some amazing photo opportunities. The barn is already beautifully adorned with lights but there is also lots of opportunity to decorate it to make it personal to you. We made bunting out of strips of material which worked very well. Despite being a genuine old barn, there is good disabled access with a paved path and a disabled toilet. We also felt that it was very good value for a wedding venue - more weather resistant than a marquee and more customisable than a hotel. We couldn’t recommend Gote Barn more - thank you!
